Wonderful care and service from every member of the staff. Dr Spears is truly a caring and skilled veterinarian and has helped me with my temperamental Rottweilers, gives care to my French Bulldog, and also spayed our bunny. Highly recommended Quail Ridge vet to anyone looking for excellent loving care for their pets.

I appreciate the staff there greatly. The vet really took great care of my Ball Python. The prices are reasonable and the staff took amazing care for my baby. I highly recommend this place for all types of exotic, cats, dogs; They treated me nicely and I am so happy with my service.

The staff and Dr's are caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and listen to you and your concerns. They are friendly and truly understand that your pets are your family too. This clinic saved my cat's life. He suffered from acute kidney failure in February of this year. They diagnosed him immediately and told me that he needed 24 hour around the clock critical care for the first few days and sent me to an emergency clinic in Reno. Once he was able to come home, they set up routine subcutaneous fluid care (taught me how to give him his fluids) and strict kidney diet to follow. It has been six months since the diagnosis. He is doing great. I will continue to do follow-up visits and blood tests. Thank you, Quail Ridge, for saving my babies life

Multiple years have passed since the passing of Yoshi. And this animal hospital is still just as kind as they were that day. Unfortunately about 6 weeks ago our big dog Spike who was a German Shepherd mastiff began limping and we couldn't figure out why. Then on Saturday morning his entire leg was swollen so we took him in today. Turns out he had cancer in his shoulder. I was in Reno at the time of his appointment. The doctor was amazing and stayed 45 minutes longer than she needed to just so that I could be there with my husband and our dog at the time of his passing. The care that they have taken with both our family and our pets is undeniable. And they have for sure made a lifelong client from our family

We unfortunately adopted a dog from a private person that had issues from the started.

We took our beautiful husky mix here 3 times, today being our last.

Our poor dog sadly, ended up decling in a matter of hours and as soon as their vet was available, we brought him in.

First off, we were met at the door and they aided us in getting him inside. They wasted no time trying to help him. Unfortunately we had to bring our children and the receptionist saw me struggling with the car seat and diaper bag so she rushed out to help.

The staff went way above and beyond. The same receptionist even held my 8 month old and entertained my 4 year old while I said good bye to our beloved 18 month old puppy.

Dr. Miner even took his loss as a hit to her to. She cried with us and gave me a huge hug. For some, this may not be appropriate but for us, in that moment, it was so very needed

Sadly he passed away from a currently unknown cause but the staff treated him with respect, dignity, and kindness right up to the very end.

Even from our first visit, the office was always beautiful, the staff kind and informative, and I always felt respected and fairly treated. I highly recommend them!!

We have been taking our dog to Quail Ridge Animal Hospital for 9 years and they have taken extremely good care of her. Our dog has had a few emergencies over the years and they have fit us into their schedule quickly. They recently went above and beyond to help me find the owners of a lost dog. They are kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful! I highly recommend this vet!

The staff and Dr's were pleasant and professional. They actually seemed to care, listened and made suggestions unlike some past Vet's we've gone to. The facility was clean without feeling sterile. Glad we found them.

I'm one of the most demanding veterinary clients in the country since I work with exotic animals, particularly wolves. Lesli and her team are remarkable. They've cured my malamute's limp with stem cells and PRP, repaired a folding fracture to one of my wolves' hips, and Dr. Hewitt handles my most challenging animal, a female wolf, with the skill of a wilderness technician.

I spend over $20,000 per year just on the preventative care for my animals. I could go anywhere (and have) to make sure my canine family gets the absolute premium treatment at every turn. While I live in Tahoe, I gladly make the drive to Carson City to see the amazing people at Quail Ridge. If Dr. Hewitt were an MD, she'd be my physician. I love these people. They're simply the best dog-repair shop in the country!

took my little rat molly last week for an emergency visit with the exotic vet and found the employees there to be very kind and professional. thank you Quail Ridge for taking her in and treating her with respect and love. she and her sisters are starting to feel much better :)

I had a hard time finding a place that did bully ear cropping and this place was amazing. Well worth the 4 hour drive. The staff was very friendly and the office was clean. Pumpkin Spice was well taken care of.

People at Quail Ridge were friendly, helpful. The vet who did my dog's spay, I feel did a good job. So far no problems & incision has no issues, looks good. They also called next day to see how my puppy was doing & if I had any questions. I would go back if issues or problems arise in the future.

We were in Carson City on a camping trip from California, when our 13 year old Lab, Hannah, ran out of her arthritis meds. Our own vet could not authorize a refill because of state law, so we needed to see a vet in NV to get the med. We saw Dr Miner, who did a quick exam and went beyond expectations to get Hannah her meds, even though they did not carry it in the clinic. We stayed 2 more days and picked up Hannah's RX once it arrived. Dr Miner was friendly, professional, and could not have been nicer. In fact, the entire staff was a pleasure to deal with and if we lived in the area I would definitely be coming back here for our pets' care. Thank you to Quail Ridge Animal Hospital for finding room to see us, and getting Hannah the comfort she needs to camp along with us! We are grateful!

The best place to take you animals! Dr Hewitt is amazing and has a natural love for all animals! She's been in Vet medicine fir many years and is extremely knowledgeable on dogs and cats as well as exotics! I will would never trust another vet! The recently expanded to a second vet, and Dr roach is also very loving and a great vet. Highly recommend!

I took my cat here for a dental. They were so professional, kind and gentle. 100% recommend.

Super friendly, competent, and responsible staff. I felt like they genuinely cared about my furry kids and our relationship. As the owner of two mature (14 and 11), active dogs, I have spent a lot of time trying to find competent care since moving to Carson City. This facility definite fits!! We spoke in depth about their continued activity, feeding, care, etc. They had to draw blood and take a urine sample from both dogs. Neither were distressed during the procedures or after.
