In this moment of sadness, losing our 91 year old mom, Marie at Fitzhenry's was so kind and compassionate. She went above and beyond to help us get through this time. Making arrangements was a difficult process, but Marie made it so much easier with her caring ways. She genuinely loves to help people and shows love in every aspect of job. She was comforting, patient, kind and wanted to help us in every way to give us the piece of mind that our beloved mom was going to be taken care of with respect and dignity. I truly appreciate the extra time she took to help us in this time of sorrow. I would highly recommend Fitzhenry's to anyone that must go through this process.

They helped me with a special request to have my recently deceased dog's cremains put into a piece of jewelry so I could carry her with me everywhere I went. They were extremely nice, caring and compassionate, especially when they absolutely did not have to help me whatsoever. I really cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for them. Once I had it on, I burst into tears, you never forget your first dog and the fact that they helped me honor her in this way is above and beyond. Thank you!

I stopped in today to modify my arrangements. Marie (General Manager) was great. She took care of me in less than 30 minutes, and I can't say enough about the courtesy and professionalism of all the staff. FitzHenry's is the best...they will take care of your needs efficiently and at a fair price.

I lost my mom August 3rd 2022. She was only 48 leaving behind me, 26 and my sister 23. Amanda was super kind from the get go. Honestly she was concerned about what mom wanted for her afterlife care, what we needed as a family and did her best to help us. It worked. She was firm in her beliefs about the hospital, firm in her beliefs about our feelings and provided excellent resources to cope with these huge and unexpected feelings. I honestly could go on but Fitzhenrys was an amazing choice and I'm thankful to the management, staff and cooperation we received from everyone involved. PLEASE consider them to take care of either yourself or a dear loved one. Know that sometimes things go unexpected but they will do their best to help you regardless of your circumstances.

Rebecca was absolutely the most amazing person that I had the pleasure of working with. I met her for both my father's and grandmother's passing, it was a hard year, but she completely understood how we were feeling. Listened gently while we cried, shared stories and memories. She was completely understanding when there was more to be done after we thought we were done. I am truly grateful to have such an incredible person to be there so patiently while we grieved and processed what was going on. I'm sure my dad would have been happy/proud with all the work that was put into his services and all the care that was put into all of this. Thank you so much Rebecca [but hopefully we won't see you again so soon ;) ]

Fitzhenry is a very caring and professional establishment. They know their business and they care for their customers.

Our experience with FitzHenry's Funeral Home was made very stress free because of Christie Wilde.
We worked personally with Christie but even when we called the funeral home everyone was always very kind and helpful. Christie was very compassionate and patient and also very helpful when it came to making all the decisions. She never rushed us or made us feel as if we were taking too long!
And finally when it came to the funeral itself Christie made sure everything was perfect and even went out of her way to make things special. We'll never forget how kind and helpful she was to us, also we're very thankful to her for making a difficult experience much easier!

We can only say the best about Fitzhenry’s Funeral Home. The staff at Fitzhenry’s clearly understands that all deaths are difficult on the survivors and the director Marie knew in our case that the loss of a child was devastating. Marie was kind, patient and always professional with every encounter. She went above the call and provided us with community resources and helped navigate us through a very over-whelming time.

Excellent service ! This is the second time I have used them in a little over a year and it was like being with family. The ladies, Courtney and Christie are just the best !! I would never use another funeral home. My father who passed at 100 last year, and my dear husband just recently, they both looked very natural and like themselves which really helps when you're grieving. God bless them, they truly do care about helping people at a very difficult time.

I did not know what going through this would be like. I was nervous but at Fitz Henry's everyone had such a sweet caring soul. Marie the general manager there is who I worked with and I couldn't have asked for someone better! Very caring genuine hard working individual. Thank you so much for everything you do!

My Dad passed away recently & the staff at FitzHenry's couldn't have been more helpful, compassionate & professional. With all I had to do, in such a difficult time, Courtney made everything easier. My husband & I will be back very soon to make our arrangements, as I realize now how important planning for the inevitable is. I highly recommend & wouldn't go anywhere else.

We had searched for a reasonably priced and meaningful service for our grandmother, when she passed away and we just weren't at ease with any of the services we were offered at other funeral homes. Once we sat down and spoke with Kristie and Danielle at Fitzhenry's we felt a sense of comfort and ease. From the moment, Christie started helping me with my moms funeral arrangements. She had everything under control, while I was falling apart. She made the process easy on me. Even while my mom was in hospice, she would check in with me on how I was doing. Christie made all the arrangements to have my mom transferred to her final resting place. Even at my moms funeral, she stayed and offered her assistance anyway she could. Even though, she had a 5+ hour drive back home. I can’t say enough about Christie and Fitzhenry Funeral Home.

Everyone at FitzHenry’s Funeral Home provided respectful and sensitstive care throughout a most difficult time. Arrangements for my loved one were far from usual. They involved several states and many Military Honor Guards and Escorts. Courtney Stairwalt shared her expert advice and was available to me whenever needed. Courtney’s knowledge was much needed since I was trying to plan this interment from the opposite side of the country.

Marie took really great care of us! My sister was well cared for during the transition. Marie went above and beyond. Thank you for everything during this hard time Marie!

FitzHenry's is very professional and are very kind people to work with. We put my Grandma to rest this past week and they did a great job. Lindsey, thank you for all you did for my family!!!!

The staff were professional and kind for my husband's recent cremation. Staff was respectful and careful removing his body from the home. Every service was offered to us from the funeral home, even to carrying out the remains to my car. I would use them again.
