It's a Post Office; I appreciate the US Mail and don't wanna think about the hellscape that would ensue if this wonderful service were privatized. Thank you, Post-folks!

Consistently poor delivery. Damaged goods, boxes crammed into the mailbox, wrong mail, etc. Nobody to answer the phone.

Nice friendly staff, quick service! Yes, there's usually a line, but they make a real effort to get through it.

No idea where the negative reviews are coming from. I’m born and raised in Corvallis, been using this post office my entire life. They got free 15 minute parking outside, plenty of agents, and all the supplies you need. It’s a post office, don’t over complicate it folks. This one has what you need.

I had a very pleasant interaction at this office yesterday and am a little surprised that some of the comments/reviews here on google are so harsh. While I have also found that the lines can get a little long and slow-moving during busy hours, I have often observed that to be because of customers not being prepared when they reach the desk, not because the employees work slowly. When the line is getting longer, they open more positions when they can. I plan for a bit of a wait, aim to come at less busy times, and often am pleasantly surprised that I am in and out within a few minutes. The employees have always been courteous to me.

I both send out packages and receive them. I have always had a very good experience... even if I get a package that appears to be a little damaged, my carrier is the first to mention it to me, and remind me how I can report a problem if there was to any damage to the goods inside. Yes, you do need to have your items completely ready to go when you get to the counter and there are signs that remind you of that. I don't think that is too much to ask of anyone.

GREAT service! I use USPS for business, too....shipping 99.9% of all orders Priority Mail. It's stellar! Zero breakage, FAST shipping (packages can get from OR to FL in 1-2 days!) and the prices are better than any other carrier. As a small online retail biz...I love the free shipping boxes and being able to dump my outgoing mail off whenever I want and at multiple locations. Can't say enough about how wonderful USPS is, don't know what I'd do without them. HUGS to USPS!

Local Corvallis PO; still the historic American experience. Others' complaints about theft deserve context. The small town reality in Corvallis is honest and hardworking. Others' experiencing their mail delivery differently are most likely assuming badly at their own expense. While Corvallis is currently growing and changing again, beware the chronic complainers who are all expectation and likely not invested in their NEW community. Such a begrudging the homeless outside a public institution... More working people need history lessons again. What does public access mean? It means just that: PUBLIC. Why are you judging?!

I've got nothing but good things to say about the Corvallis Post Office and carriers. We've used them for decades - the employees are polite, our carrier brings packages to our porch, and we've always been happy. I appreciate these local folks who work under often demanding conditions. Thanks!

Recently a relative of mine sent me a birthday card from central CA. He couldn't understand why it took so long to get to me. When I got it, the address was wrong. I mean, terribly wrong. And yet, the awesome team at the Corvallis, OR post office managed to get it to me! It felt like those old movies where the folks at the post office know everyone in the small town. That made me feel special. Big thanks to the Corvallis team for being willing to go the extra mile to get that birthday card in my hands!

I am new to Corvallis and this was my first visit. I had a postal worker named Dan who helped me with my problem...Dan did more than necessary to solve my problem and the visit made me smile all day. Thank you, Dan.

I use this post office regularly. Know most of the people there by name and have always been treated in a friendly, courteous manner. In all the years I've used the U.S. post office, I have never had anything lost. The negative reviews do not describe the p.o. I frequent. The long lines are a result of everyone coming in at the same, busy time. They handle it well and with graciousness and a smile.

I lost a prescription by mail and called the service, they said to call the corvallis post office and I did. A few days( a weekend went by and I still had not located it. More phone calls to both and then my very kind and hardworking postal carrier came with today's mail and asked to see where the mail comes into the house as he remembered clearly making the delivery to this address.The inside box was empty but as often happens the weight of the mail will pop the inner door open. But we looked indoor and out and the n he glanced down at a paper bag sitting on a chair nearby and asked what is that? Sitting int he bag was my order. I would never have looked in that bag for a million years. Evidently the mail had come in with its usual weight hit the edge of a table and bounced the light weight postal package in to the large paper bag. Thank heavens for my great mail man and his keen eyes. I think the Corvallis PO did a very good job on this matter as did PPS. They really put my mind at ease. Thank you Corvallis Post Office!!!!!!

Cheapest, easiest, and most reliable way to ship anything. Ill never go anywhere else. *squints at fed ex*

The staff at the Corvallis post office is very helpful and do their best to keep the mail moving ! I think they do a great job and any problems I've ever had from U.S. mail came from another post office, not the one in Corvallis !

It appears many of these negative reviews are about the USPS in general, not this specific branch. I've had nothing but positive experiences here. The employees are prompt and have gone above and beyond for me.

24 hour lobby for PO boxes, good service.

I really like the "Car model " stamps that will be coming out in August. Really cool
