Northwest Native Garden

This is a cute section of Point Defiance Park, and I recommend that people visit. There are a lot of information plaques along the short walk through the gardens that are fun to read! There is a cute gazebo area close to the entrance that I can see people using for a picnic. The water features are stunning!

This is a special place.I go to it was one of my mom's favorite garden.She passed away 2 years ago.
And I would like to keep her memory going just to see how beautiful.All the planets have grown every year

There was parking directly in front of the gate. No litter inside the garden. The walkway was clear of growth and some plants were labeled.

My daughters took me to visit the Northwest Native Garden at Pt. Defiance Park on Mother's Day. The Garden was spectacular! It is a stunning, hidden, native, plant treasure of the Pacific Northwest. Each time I see The Garden, no matter which season of the year, I wonder how it could possibly be more beautiful than my previous visits. It always ìs the very best!

As a former member of the Tacoma Garden Club, I spent many hours volunteering in The Garden. I truly loved working in the plants and removing the weeds!

Beautiful garden to enjoy with your family. Slight hill. So take it easy.

This is a great place to come and chill in peace . There is almost always no one here . Nice little water fall and trail
