I lost a fight against a cardboard box, despite having having every advantage (i.e. a box cutter and opposable thumbs, but no brain) and cut my hand pretty badly. This was the closest emergency room to my location, and so I sheepishly checked myself in. The staff were very professional, and the doctor that stitched my hand up was remarkably compassionate and attentive. I was in and out within an hour and a half or so. I'd prefer not to end up in the ER anymore, but if I should, this would be a good one to be in.

I just spent 4 days at this hospital in the ICU in an emergency situation, and I can’t understand all the bad reviews. This was one of THE best hospital experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in the door in the ER, to the moment my nurse walked me out to my car today…. I received top notch care from every single person whom I came into contact with.

They were professional, kind and thorough in figuring out how to help me. Every person spent ample time talking to me and helping me understand what the next step in my care was. Talking to me to help me be more comfortable with every stick of the needle into my skin, there were more than 50 because that’s how many tests it took to resolve my health issue.

The nurses, especially Nadia and Olga were outstanding. Professionals who are that busy, but still make one feel like you’re the only patient they have are rare. Doctors who spend more than the customary 47 seconds to deliver their generic news, also rare. I saw several doctors during my stay and they all spent ample time explaining their findings, getting input from me on what we will be doing next and helping me understand every step. Even the pharmacist spent about 25 minutes making sure I understood the medicine I was taking home, brought a demo to make sure I learned how to use it properly and answered all of my questions about the drug.

I hope to never have to go to the hospital again, but if I do I WILL BE GOING TO ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL in Federal Way. They’ve earned my loyalty for life.

Nobody wants to go the ER, yet this was the most pleasant hospital visit I’ve ever had- anywhere. I brought a book assuming I would be waiting for quite some time and instead triage and diagnostics was lightning fast. Every person I interacted with was compassionate and explained every step of what they were doing. If I need future care, I’ll be at St Francis.

What great service I received here. I had major pain in my stomach and went to the ER here. When I saw the parking lot my hopes of being seen right away were diminished. My pain said go inside now. I’m telling you I’m glad I did! From the first person that asked me my information in the intake area from the very last nurse I saw, was absolute excellent service. I ended up having to get surgery done that day and be admitted to the hospital for one night and despite all that I went through.. pain wise, the experience and the staff were so sweet, kind and expedient and answered all my questions! I couldn’t be more happier with my experience at Saint Francis hospital and ER. I’m sure I’m leaving some staff out but I definitely appreciate all of them thank you the front office ladies that check you in, in the emergency room. Thank you to Akeila,Candi, Dr. Ben Friedman, Dr. Andrew Oliver,Garrett,Michelle, Robin(cat scan)Bridget, Kevin, Barbra ,Joanna,Marissa, all the girls and guys in the operating room and anyone else who made my experience so much better than I ever thought I could have. Thank you-thank you for your service ,you are truly angels especially in this time of Covid.

Islande was such an amazing nurse. Helped me through my asthma episode and helped me learn about my allergic reaction to milk. Took the time to care for me. Forever thankful.

I LOVE ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL.. I would recommend you guys to absolutely everyone I care about, acquaintances, and people I dont even know. I had my son there 11 years ago and I drive there to go to the ER all the way from auburn because I love them so much. I trust them with my life and my family's lives and they have treated me amazing every time. Every experience I've had there has been a great one. Despite having to be sick to go there of course. They always take amazing care of me and my family. Thank you guys so much!

I gave birth to my beautiful baby two weeks ago. Labor and delivery department overall was great. I stayed 3 nights and got to meet a lot of the nurse staff. The nurse who stood out the most was Angela. She was smart, resourceful, proactive and extremely supportive through my birth experience. It is important for someone to advocate for you when going through such an immense experience and she did an amazing job. 10/10.

The care given by St.Francis Hospital staff was awesome. Had brought my reading glasses with me but they were gone. Staff looked for them on levels where I had been. But found none. (Later I learned that they had fallen in the car that brought me). Overall the care and consideration given to me was superior to any other stays in a medical facility.

The team worked well under pressure. Their attitudes were great, as well as their sense of humor. My surgery went well as far as I could tell. The facility is easy to navigate. They have a great team atmosphere.

We took our little 3 year old boy to the emergency center at 4:30am, he had a high fever and would not drink fluids for almost 2 days. They took incredible care of him and were so nice from start to finish, everyone who helped were incredibly nice and helpful from the lady at the front desk to the nurses checking him in and checking on him to the doctor doing the diagnoses. What can I say wow God brought us to this hospital for a reason. So thankful for all of them!!

I was impressed by everyone who took part in my care. They were kind and took extra steps to make me comfortable and relaxed. I never felt rushed or just another patient in the many patients they see. I'm grateful to them for making an uncomfortable and scary experience so much better than I had anticipated.

This hospital has always shown me kindness and care. They saved my life back in 2006, they showed me as much concern and care this time during covid when my own doctors were concerned my heart rate wouldn't come down. The nurses are above and beyond, they cared for me so thoroughly this time. My surgeon who saved my life and the technicians and nurses who cared for me during my past stay and surgery were beyond amazing. I drive almost an hour to this hospital because they are that good.

My ER experience was very good. There was only a couple of people ahead of me, which was great. The nurses and the doctor explained everything that was going to happen and I felt heard and understood. My doctor sent a good amount of time with me and we felt that she was very through.
