Element Hampton Peninsula Town Center

We stayed in this hotel for Supernova Ska Festival 2023 and we were extremely pleased with everything. The room was spacious and the king bed very comfortable. The large TV worked well, and the kitchenette was amazing to have. We didn't use the microwave, but the mini fridge and the extra sink were invaluable. The shower was spacious with good temperature and pressure, and the linens were all spotless. We also enjoyed eating takeout food on the sofa while watching TV: for once we didn't have to dirty the sheets eating in bed. We even used the iron and ironing board (gotta look good for the fest) and found them to be clean and in good working order.

In addition to the excellent physical aspects of our stay, this hotel went above and beyond with their service as well. Every employee we spoke to or dealt with in any way was wonderful, they were all very personable and helpful. The gentlemen who cooked us breakfast in the morning did a wonderful job. The breakfast food was so nice. It was a weight off our minds not to have to worry about getting breakfast before we went out for the day.

All in all a very good experience; in fact, it might have been one of the nicest hotels in which I've ever stayed. We got a discounted rate through a collaboration between the hotel and the festival which allowed us to stay in a hotel that might otherwise have been beyond our means. I would absolutely consider staying here again, and I strongly recommend the Element to any traveler in need of accommodation.

My stay was great. When I arrived was greeted with great customer service from all the staff received my room and quickly noticed it wasn’t what I booked went back to front desk they adjusted the total to reflect the room I stayed in. Had great service even received a phone call to make sure I didn’t need anything. Location was Convenient and around everything. Bed was relaxing and shower was magnificent the pressure was great!!! Loved everything except floor had a few stains.

I would love for Marriott to send me a complimentary week there just to stay again

Absolutely nice hotel, Gym and Pool on site. Staff super welcoming and friendly. DOG FRIENDLY HOTEL! BRING YOUR FURBALL.🐾 Delicious Breakfast every morning with a yogurt bar....you have a chef preparing your choice of eggs. Turkey sausage, sausage patties, potatoes. Choice of bread, fresh fruit from Farmers Market. Towels and Linens very clean and fresh. Not to mention the location, right in the middle of the Hampton Peninsula Town center. Full with stores, restaurants and bars.

Modern well appointed rooms; in room cooking, microwave, Filtered water, refrigerator ; great exercise area; Morning breakfast With an omelet bar ; wine cheese and beer in the evenings ; great lobby décor

This location is so amazing the parking was accessible for anyone. It’s free parking. There’s so much food around this hotel. This hotel is such in a great place.. Laila the front desk representative was so helpful and so accommodating she make sure my check in with smalls and I came in early from New Jersey and she made sure that my room was ready for me at 2 PM. The following day she helped me print out my tickets with no hesitation. This hotel is deathly courteous and super nice. I will deathly stay here again.

Surprise stay! Had not seen or stayed in this brand of Marriott properties! What a surprise! Love the modern feel and brightness. Arrived late and night attendant was excellent in providing service in getting me my room. I will definitely look for this brand again.

Let me start with saying that the recent reviews here had me a little worried when I booked. However my experience with the front desk associates was amazing from when I called in asking if they had cribs to when I checked out. They have convenient dollys to take your items up which was nice with 3 kids one being an infant. Room was a great size. Comes with a kitchen fully stocked. Shower pressure was so relaxing. Breakfast was great. They had biscuits with gravy (pork), potatoes, scrambled eggs or over medium eggs, sausage (turkey or pork), bacon (pork). The hot food is one plate per person but the bagels, fruit, parfait table, and danish’s are buffet style. They also offered coffee, apple or orange juice and water. We originally booked the trip to go to the beach but it rained a good portion of the weekend. Luckily they have a pool. It was my 4 months olds first time in the pool and he didn’t cry when entering the pool since it was kept at a wonderful temperature. They also loaned us a jenga to play upstairs for our whole trip! It’s in a great location with so many things within walking distance. We wandered to the park and to the bowling alley across the way. Smoothie place is tasty and offers great specials on a smoothie wrap combos. We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn’t want to leave. They offered us the latest check out possible which was so lovely it gave us more time to get in the pool. Overall I LOVED IT!! Highly recommend it will be the only hotel I stay at when visiting Hampton VA.

I thought this hotel was great. I did read reviews prior to reserving a room. So, I was hesitant and didn't know what to expect. Obviously this hotel reads their reviews and has corrected their issues. It was a clean hotel and the front desk person Kim was pretty nice. They had key issues and seemed a little distressed. But they fixed the problem quickly. The room was awesome and like little apartments. Love the rose lamps. Because I am a Marriott member and I did receive an upgrade cause it was available. The breakfast is not to talk about cause its it a true grab and go bowl. The hotel is in a great location and you can go anywhere to get breakfast. Overall I had a great stay and they do allow you to bring your small pets. Even my dog loved it!! Kudos to management and the staff. This is the BEST place to stay in Hampton. Even tops Embassy Suites and I will stay there every time I travel to Hampton.

Visited this hotel last month. Had an amazing stay. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly. My room was very clean and had great features. It was nice having a small kitchen and very spacious bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was awesome each morning. So many fun and healthy options. This hotel is beautiful and is in the center of tons of shops and restaurants. Wish I could of explored more of the hotel and surrounding areas during my stay. Next time I’m in town, I’m definitely staying at The Element.

Had the pleasure of staying here for one night(Friday night). Check in was very simple, the front desk attendant was very nice and great at her job! The hotel lobby was very clean with a lot of options for seating in the nice lounge areas. They have a security guard which is also great if any issues arise. The room is perfect for a short or long term stay as it’s equipped with a mini kitchen. Although I didn’t utilize the kitchen, the hotel provides FREE breakfast. The breakfast was not your average grab and go, they had options for omelette, parfaits, bagels fruit and more. I would suggest having more options for vegan or dairy free options but most places don’t. The dinning area was also a vibe! I grabbed my laptop and enjoyed the view. The rooftop seating was closed however I’d definitely stay again to experience it. I was also able to check out late which was perfect bc I had a long drive ahead of me. Overall great vibe here and no complaints. I would recommend here if you’re a local or visiting as it’s located in the town center with lots to do and places to eat!

The housemen kel omg he was my favorite about the whole stay we needed extra blankets and pillows he was so friendly and helped out immediately he even gave me and my family a few places to go to around the area he was everything and more also Josh front desk was a cool dude I’ll be returning again just because of the staff

Over the weekend I stayed at this hotel and the staff here was amazing. It is a new hotel so everything was nice and neat, the was plenty of space to sit and socialize. It offered complimentary breakfast with chefs preparing the food. The staff was amazing very helpful and made us feel welcome. They worked really hard to make sure we had everything we needed. Rain at the desk was very sweet and helpful and Marvin assisted everyone at the hotel in wherever he was needed. They worked well as a team and I hope that they keep up the good work!!

Second time with a staycation at the Element in Hampton (I live in Norfolk, VA)... There's so much to love about this lovely hotel... starting with its location within Peninsula Town Center, which has a number of great restaurants (Park Lane Tavern, Juan's Mexican Cafe and Cantina and Bar Louie are excellent) as well as shopping within its "planned community."
During both of my stays, the hotel staff has been wondrous... polite, enthusiastic and personable... while the rooms are impeccably clean and well appointed. I LOVE having a kitchen in the suite (note: it is NOT made clear in the listing that there's no oven, only a stovetop).
Parking is free, bedding is lush... but mercy, the breakfast is the one sour point... first, the gent preparing in December 2021 looked quite bothered by doing his job, while the eggs, potatoes and bacon were... ahem, in a word... awful. Go for the muffins and toast!

My boyfriend and I have stayed here twice and now and it’s been very pleasant. The staff is very polite and helpful. The location is very convenient within walking distance of any restaurant or store you’d want to go to.

Stayed at this hotel overnight and it was great! I loved everything about this hotel! It's green and organic, very well put together. All of the staff were great and helpful. Complimentary breakfast, wine and beer until 7, games, pool exercise room, bike rentals. The room was great nice comfy cozy beds, comfort of a Keurig, mini fridge microwave, dishes and more. Bathrooms were clean (the whole room) and spacious with a large shower. They also offered plant based body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Newer hotel, great staff at check in and check out. The cleaning crew always made a point to say hello and asked if I needed anything...I had a no service needed door tag. I would have preferred a 'generic' hot breakfast. Not a complaint on the breakfast served. They have a chef who custom prepared the meal of the day. I would have preferred a truly custom option, since they have a chef....not an option. Great hotel.

The front desk's customer service was exceptional! I didn't get a name but the two ladies working February 11th between 10am-2pm were so patient and accommodating to us.

The facilities were amazing as well. Great location!
