Very clean and the food is great. I love their crab egg rolls. I can eat them as a meal with fries. I wish they would bring back their deep crab claws from when they first opened. It was so good. I also like their crab cakes. I have not really tried any items outside their crab dishes.

My first time here I ordered three piece whiting platter. It came with Three large whiting fillets, 3 large hush puppies a large portion of fries and 4oz coleslaw. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food I received and the platter was around $11. Everything was really great and tasted fresh. My only critique is on the coleslaw as it was bland and over chopped, but Seriously everything else was great. I will most definitely be coming back here again

Got an oyster po boy, it was so good! The oysters were crispy and delicious, and they definitely gave me more than six inches of sandwich. Still, the sandwich is so big with the bread and the oysters that it's a little hard to eat without dropping things 😅

man this food establishment is the best seafood spot in Newport News. Steam medium female crabs are $18 a dozen and they look like large females. Fried crabs the best in Newport News l travel across the MMT ( Monitor Merrimac Tunnel) to get the BEST.

Great fish fry and coleslaw, catfish and trout were best fried fish I've ever had

Extremely respectful personal, extremely clean everything floors, walls, seating area, decor, restrooms just excellent and comfortable to be in that establishment. The food was absolutely delicious and you get a lot. I had the whiting and fries it came with hush puppies Omgoodness 😁😁😁. The coleslaw was really good also and they don't skimp on the portions. Yes I give ***** FIVE STARS and looking forward to visiting again all the way from New York.

We love their wings, yes-the wings. Their fish is good too, but the wings are great!

This place was great. It is a little small so plan to carry out if there aren't any seats available. I had the fried shrimp and scallops along with a huge portion of fries. It was a very reasonable price for lunch.

Finally found a seafood establishment that offers boiled crabs for one at a reasonable price. Plus tried something new...crab egg roll, very good!!!
Will patronize again.

Huge tasty portions.......I got the six inch flounder po-boy combo......three pieces of fish in there with about 2 lbs of fries. The combo could easily feed two adults.

I was wary of ordering a poboy.....but the bread was perfect. As it turns out, these vietnamese guys were born and raised in New Orleans. That explains the vietnamese and cajun food items on the menu.

Hot and fresh. You have to wait but its worth it.

A gem in the rough... first time there, bought the flounder platter to take home with me. The cook/manager was very polite, accommodating and, best of all, accurate! When I opened the styro food container at home, I almost couldn't believe my good fortune: good-looking, large but not too-bulky fillets, fried to a deep golden brown, enough french fries to feed an army, and most persuasive hushpuppies I ever ate (given that I was never a huge fan of them). The cole slaw is serviceable, perhaps over-chopped & over-sauced (not as good as mine!), but still provided a good foil to the fried items. I certainly will visit again!

The fried fish and shrimp taste great. The crab cakes are delicious and huge. The portion sizes are definitely worth the low amount of money spent. They're fast too! Personally, they've taken Anna's spot on my fave seafood places.

I came here while on a business trip, looking for a local place that had good seafood. I didn't find it... I found a local place that had excellent seafood, great prices, huge portions, and very good customer service! If I could give six stars I would. Everything was extremely fresh and tasty. The shrimp, flounder, and hushpuppies we're particularly good. The scallops were cooked perfectly, and everything was piping hot. I wasn't expecting such large portions so I spent $20 and got everything I wanted to try. When the food came I was very surprised at how heavy the bag was! When I looked inside there was enough food for two meals for me, and I eat about twice as much as a typical adult male. I will definitely come back if I'm in the area again, no question.

Food is always hot. Large portions. Fair prices. My favorite is crab cakes it's real crabmeat.
It is a really gooood deal.
Plus they are always soooooooo friendly.

This place is an instant classic. As of now true hidden gem. The seafood is great but the Vietnamese sandwiches is something I keep coming back for more.
