My tax counselor, Carole, simply cared about me as a person and not an object as just another customer. She was very kind, caring, and was asking all the right questions to look out for the best interest of me and my financial goals.

I Love my experience with H&R Block every year my wife and I file our taxes! This year was absolutely top tier great customer service! Carole Hopkins was excellent and very patient! We didn’t have all the documents so I had to email it to her to finish the process. Not only did she did our taxes and it was a smooth process, she stayed after hours to finish it while me and my wife were at home. When I called to speak with Mrs. Hopkins the following days to see if she received my email, the receptionist (also a great lady) told me she was booked and busy for the day and probably wouldn’t be able to call me that day. 8 PM is when they closed and I didn’t get a call which wasn’t a problem. I know she works hard. 8:30! I got a phone call from Mrs. Hopkins and she was finishing my taxes. She didn’t have to do it that night but with her kindness of her heart and thoughtfulness, she stayed a little later just for us to get them filed. I’m pretty sure she’s done that a lot for her previous clients. Employees like her deserves the up most respect from H&R Block. She didn’t serve 39 years with H&R Block cause she had too, she stayed that long cause I genuinely know she loves working and making sure the customers are satisfied and getting their full return. I called them on the phone to get some tax information. I talked to Linda she was very helpful , kind and professional . I did not spend any money but she was still willing to talk to me, that is true customer service. if I ever need paid help she would be the person I would see. she made may whole day brighter

I love H&R Block!! I've been utilizing their services for about 10 years now. They always make sure that their clients are up-to-date on the latest tax laws and rules and I have never had an issue with them. H&R Block is Awesome!! The Block has your back!

Good service, excellent tax knowledge, they are the best in Hampton. We did out taxes ourselves fro years, when my husband told me how much we owed in taxes, I decided to give them a try. They found deductions and credits we did not know we qualified for. Ended up getting a refund!

Both Linda and Carole took really great care of us, made sure we understood everything before we left. We are glad we took our taxes to H&R rather than trying to handle it ourselves online or with a computer program.

I am a Newlywed and my husband and I were joint filing on turbo tax but had a lot of problems trying to file. We decided to get professional help and see what the problem was. When I first walked in the workers were so nice and very helpful and I finally met with one of the workers Lanesha. She helped us so much and she was so wonderful to work with very friendly and was all about the customer she figured out what could be the problem and fixed it and then we had a little hiccup with our email and waited a few hours to see if we received it and I still didn’t get an email so I was just going to wait to talk to her in the morning and then about 730 pm Lanesha called me to say I had to come back to work to help me figure out why this email still wasn’t sent. She went through our return again and we finally got it to work. It was such a great feeling that someone would come back to work just to help my husband and I out. I have never experienced such amazing customer service until I went to H&R Block and worked with Lanesha. You guys are truly a wonderful company and I look forward to working with you guys next year.

James was very knowledgeable about our tax situation, he went over and above to make sure our taxes were done right. He went back on our taxes from years before an amended them even though previously we had used Jackson and Hewitt. Because we sold a house in Florida we thought the state of Virginia was going to really hurt us on taxes, but James did everything he could to make sure we got a fair refund. When someone puts that much personal care into what they do they bring clients back. We look forward working with James Curtis next year.

The representatives with H & R Block are very professional and personable. All my questions were answered and also tips were given on a better return, I would recommend H & R Block to my family and friends.

I filed my taxes online and went to this location for them to look at it, I just wasn't confident about the amount I was getting back. They were so nice and helpful, and I ended up getting back more than I would have on my own. You definitely get what you pay for and the people in this office know their stuff!
