New China Lantern

I love the food here. A go-to takeout spot. Great flavor, good portion sizes for the price, good variety and options for vegans/vegetarians. The staff is nice whenever I pick up my food. There's no real ambience or reason to eat-in tbh, I have never felt compelled to do so. There are some tables for those students who may want to grab a quick bite just in case but it's all very utilitarian, probably because of the building being old and the neighborhood not getting the love it deserves outside of Clark. Regardless I will continue to order my takeout over and over here IMO.

Highly impressed with the food! I ordered Mei fun chicken and shrimp/broccoli; the noodles are tasty and the meat is tender and juicy! Highly impressed and it was perfect for a late night splurge :))

I get take out from this place all the time. They are fast. The food is always really good, and they always get my modification requests right (no onion, no egg, etc). Highly recommend any of their tofu dishes, but the curry is so good. Super spicy. Their moo shu, lo mein, and chow fun are also all good.

Large portions for a very affordable price. Comfort food at its finest. The kung pao tofu is a true standout on the menu.

Amazing! Not only is the food delicious, but it's half (or less!!) the price of anything else you can get around here! The lunch specials are very cost-effective, jam-packed, and boiling with flavor. They also have great selections and substitution policies for vegetarians!

New China Lantern is absolutely DELICIOUS!! The tofu is amaaaaazing. Sesame and General Tso's are my favorite. The garlic sauce broccoli is also really good. I get food here all the time, it's a Clark staple.

This is a go to college kid staple. For what they give you their prices are amazing. I love their all day specials! They are also awesome every time i ask to swap something out for more crab rangoons lol. The only thing is I wish their fried rice had more stuff in it, feels like not enough onion/pork bits.

As someone with a sesame allergy, there are some other chinese food restaurants that I can't order from, but I'm always good with New China Lantern and I appreciate that.

Absolutely baffling this place doesn't have a five star rating. No BS when you call for a pickup. 💜 You can't go wrong any of the tofu,
always fried to perfection. The rice is consistently fluffy and delicious. Never cold. Scallion pancakes are fantastic, too. Locally owned by a lovely family. Try everything on their menu if you're able! ;)

I’m a college student nearby and they are my go-to. I love all their stuff, but yeah the rice can be pretty bland. Other than that, everything is good, the food is definitely fresh, the staff have masks during the pandemic, and you get a LOT for your buck!

They have a secret menu. Get them to translate for you and pick a dish off of it. Its a nice departure from typical American Chinese food. I like stir fried pork belly with leeks. Direct translation: "Big leaf pork"

Generous portions; delicious sauces; many options for all type of classic dish; easy online ordering. Pad thai & chow mein for first time was great choice.

Its chinese food wat do u expect ... No high standards here but the food is cheap and good 👍
