Cafe Stella

The atmosphere is awesome - cool decor, cozy and comfortable. There are a lot of tables both inside and outside. A lot of people go in to work/study on their laptops so it was a few minutes before a table opened up. Didn’t have any food but the coffee was perfectly made - frothy without bubbles and very smooth. Service was good and staff was very friendly.

This place is amazing. The only con is walking in and having to leave because there's nowhere to sit. But if you do get lucky enough to grab a seat, this is the perfect little cozy place, warm in that rustic charming character type of way. The way where a space is transformed because of the people in it. Filled with chatter, curiosity, and laughter.

The food is really good, the staff is awesome. My 10 year old is homeschooled, and I'm a work from home multi-facteted UX designer. When we need a change of scenery, we come here!

Had a very good time at Cafe Stella, Drinking a delicious in house Vanilla latte, and eating a house made coffee cake! Enjoyed the open and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful music playing! This cafe can accommodate about up to 35+ people. I will be visiting Cafe Stella again!

I love this place! I have visited a few times in the past months and have always had a pleasant experience. They have the most kind and enthusiastic staff. The decorations are eclectic in a stimulating manner, and there is lots of ample space whilst still feeling cozy. The coffee is AMAZING!! And their food not only has a ton for options, but is relatively cheep and delicious. This is a wonderful place to have a quick study break, work, snack, play games with friends, etc. Cafe Stella is everything coffee shops try to be all in one. They have a bunch of games that you can play with friends whist catching up and a spectacularly clean bathroom. This is truly a gem of a coffee place. The great food, wonderful environment, and helpful staff will keep me coming back to this place for ages. I heavily recommend for anyone in the area for a cute little break from reality.

I love this place! Great service, tons of seating, and great atmosphere to get some work done. The coffee is fantastic and so is the food. I had a vanilla oat latte with the house made vanilla and the avocado toast. Both were delicious!

Nice place. Good atmosphere for having a coffee and/or a bite to eat. It seems very popular so we had to wait about 30 minutes for our food. (The coffee wait was only a couple minutes) the food was good and the price was reasonable. I would eat here again or come back for coffee.

This was a cool spot. I enjoyed the ambiance of the pianist in the background. Very busy spot though. Food was good and the coffee was average in my opinion but overall a solid spot in my opinion. I would go back

Great place to gather. Delicious matcha lattes-- they know how to make them here. The color was the proper light green, not burnt or cheap. They have nondairy milk options and I was assured they often have nondairy pastries though they didn't on the day I went.
Their black bean burger was good. I think most people would be impressed with it. I only thought it was lacking because I make a similar one at home and am able to modify it to my tastes. Highly recommend.

Cute and quirky warehouse style cafe/restaurant with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Since it's 'order at the counter style' the line can get outrageous on Sundays/peak hours - definitely worth it as a brunch spot but if you're looking for a nice, quiet place to get a coffee with a friend maybe try for a weekday. I would call the Sunday at 11am atmosphere here as 'gently controlled chaos', but in a good way.

I simply walked in with my laptop, ordered an old fashioned, sat down, & felt right at home. The atmosphere in this cafe is top tier!! Everyone is nice, staff is super friendly, wifi is fast, oh & did i mention the atmosphere? This place is a gem, the diamond in the rough. Definitely going to be a regular here, keep up the amazing work!

Several times here, decided to grab lunch before heading out to Norfolk winter market .4 mile away. Ordered the breakfast bowl, first time to try. Really delicious with the grilled veggies tomato, asparagus, the perfectly cooked potatoes and sunny egg! Got a caramel macchiato ala Starbucks style and lemon bar and pear upside down cake to go.
Service was great as always, you order at the counter, grab your number and service is prompt and friendly. Ambience is always happening here, it seems that all kinds of folks come to enjoy the vibe and food - business folks still talking about work on a weekend, students catching up on their homework or studies, moms/daughters/friends/families come here to gather.
Oh and as I entered I noticed that their baby grand has some jazz pianist playing dons nice tunes, what a treat!
Now is there one slight imperfection? Wish they re-upholster their window seats and chairs!

The food, service, and atmosphere were all very good. The prices were reasonable as well. Would not hesitate to eat here again.

I don't live close by to the area, but every time when occasion arises and I'm near the Ghent area, I am gladly stopping by the cafe. This time my wife and I were looking at the nearby places for a breakfast and I decided to introduce her to Cafe Stella.
Right at the opening time there was already a line to the register of people, anxiously waiting for their morning fixes, but we welcomed it as a sign of the place being well liked by locals.
We've ordered our food and sat down at the table with freshly made coffee. Wait for our order was little long, but not too uncommon when you considering that the food was freshly prepared for us. Upon tasting our food we have both realized that it was not salted enough. It was surprising, but again good, experienced chefs have tendency to under-salt their meals. I quickly found a salt on a condiments table and everything was fixed. We've sat down at the table probably another 20 minutes after we've finished our breakfast without any interruptions, just having our morning conversation and enjoying the surroundings.

So many original food options for breakfast and lunch. The Shakshuka eggs are so good, also great vegetarian options, burritos, and sandwiches. Very good coffee too.

There's a bar and some unique cocktails but we've only tried breakfast. Atmosphere is eclectic and tastefully appointed with lots of tables spaced for distancing.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Great Cafe with MANY options all day long!! Employees are helpful and kind! My favorites so far are the chicken salad, Reubens, and club. The atmosphere is like no other, very artsy and fun.

Have been going here since they opened. Really love this place and I'm going to miss it when we leave.

I love getting their cans of coffee to take home and make, it's been our favorite that we've found so far. They're food is always delicious. Love their bar especially when Maruscz is behind the counter.

Let me tell you. New Coffee place alert. This is my favorite coffee place now. I absolutely love the vibe of this coffee shop. The service is excellent, the people is excellent, the staff is professional, the coffee is hot, the food is fresh. This is everything that a coffee place should emulate. I have been looking at this place for quite awhile, but it is out of my way. I just happen to be in town today and gave it a try. I'm glad I came by here. I plan on comig of my way to continue coming here. If you haven't been here yet then what are you waiting for?

Your staff are great! The kids couldn’t get enough of the pastries. Your carrot cake YUUUM 😆 The coffee was great. I just wish there wasn’t a full room of people with laptops taking over whole tables. Make them share 🙃 thankfully the weather was comfortable enough that we could sit outside.

I chose this coffee shop because of the reviews The reviews were on point this is a lovely coffee shop it offers a ot. It has a wine bar &beer great coffee all different types. I had a great smoke sandwich bagel. Very good called Lox & Bagle.
What I was really impressed about was the owner I let him know this the 1st time that I was in this coffee shop of his He took me on a tour of his coffee shop and I was very impressed with that .He is really a great guy very nice e to talk The atmosphere was really great there are a lot of locals I see that come in-and-out. You must visit here !!!!!
