I’ve been going to this place for years and absolutely love it. I always recommend it to friends because it is such a unique and fun atmosphere. We visited recently with some friends to have dinner and play games. The food was pretty good, although it was on the pricier side for our liking. The servers are always super friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable.

We don't go for the "gaming" but it has the cards my daughter likes to collect. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Always enjoy our visits.

The shop is always lively and you can always find someone to play MTG or even Warhammer with. As someone that plays both, they have a good selection of products at reasonable prices. Even if you aren't coming for a specific product, they have hundreds of board games and a staff that is knowledgeable of almost every board game they sell.

The restaurant is always packed, especially during weekends. Expect to wait close to an hour unless you make reservations before hand as people like to play board games while they eat. They even have board games you can barrow and offer a discount if you decide to buy the game.

Great place if you love games! Beautiful art deco style restaurant, with a fun hidden speakeasy in the hallway 😊 I pretty much play family friendly board games on holidays, so I am not exactly the ideal person this place is marketed for, but I love this idea of having a quality restaurant and bar attached to a shop where gamers can gather and play. I had a couple of great cocktails with friends over a co-op card game. We tried playing a second game one of the employees recommended with little success, which could have been my fault for choosing it. I don't have the gaming vocab to describe everything they have here, but it seems they have something for everyone. Had a great time even as someone who does not consider themselves a gamer.

Really delightful place! A friend of ours recommended it while we were in town and we all had a great time. For the amount of time they allowed us to occupy their table space, I think their prices are completely justified and their drinks were really good! We were all happy with our meals too, but their poutine really shines. The game selection is super expansive too! We got to try two new games! Definitely worth checking out.

What a great hidden gem 🤩 An underrated place with a huge collection of boardgames and lots of space to play with your friends/family. Just come in grab a game or two and go towards the back where there is a great hall with many tables you can occupy and start having fun. There is also a connected restaurant where you can eat while you play. If in the end you like to purchase the game, you get discounts too. Otherwise, just hand the game back at the counter and call it a day. No fees and 100% fun gauranteed. 😃

Overall a great place - aside from the shopping part this was the first time I've eaten at Mox and it was beyond expectations. The food was great and the selection of drinks was awesome. It's elevated above what you'd normally expect for Pub food, so I highly recommend going.

Steph at the bar was an amazing host for the evening. Her suggestions for drinks in addition to getting ice cream on the seasonal cobbler were all fantastic and her conversation throughout the night was engaging and a treat!

Will 100% be back whenever I'm in town!

Tasty food and drinks, and a fantastic place to spend several hours playing fun board games! I love being able to borrow games before you buy. That way I really know I like it before I commit to the price! The staff is very knowledgeable about the games and they give great recommendations.

Fun place to spend the day with friends. Huge collection of board games to chose from and play for free. There is a small restaurant inside where you can order food and drinks from and you can eat and play on the tables. What more do you need😅 The only con here is the parking. There is very limited space and gets a bit tricky to find a spot on weekends.

Ideal for board game enthusiasts, my husband and I, avid collectors, enjoy exploring and playing games here before making purchases. Parking is a challenge, and on our last visit, we shared a table due to overcrowding. "Wandering Towers" became a favorite, although we couldn't find it for purchase. The staff is exceptionally friendly, offering valuable game suggestions. It's worth noting that playing games at the venue is completely FREE. I highly recommend buying board games from their store.

Took part in a 40K event here and had a lot of fun! Plenty of room for events as well as many other tables for those playing other games. Great selection of everything tabletop as well.

Also got a burger there and it was pretty good, so all in all a place you should definitely give a chance!

Friendly staff and great atmosphere! Definitely worth the wait to get a table on a busy Saturday. The guy behind the board game counter was super helpful and knows how to recommend fun games that fit to your group. Food was also very tasty.

The Bellevue location is super nice and spacious. They allow outside board games to be played without paying for anything. You can eat food and play games at the same time. They have wide selection of free board game demos. All staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. They can give you detailed recommendations on tone, difficulty, number of players, etc. very clean and nice bathrooms. Good place to bring a date. Free parking outside.

We are visiting from out of town, and this was such a cool place to hang out! We loved the atmosphere, and the opportunity to hang out and play games. The Mexican fries were delicious, and we found some LOCAL craft beers we really enjoyed! So glad our daughter introduced us to this place! We'll be back when we come back into town.

Mox and its staff are an absolute treasure. Not only do they have a great selection of tabletop games to purchase, but they have a huge number of games available to borrow and play in the store and restaurant, letting you try a game before you buy it, or even just to enjoy with friends over a meal.

Additionally, the staff are some of the friendliest folks around, and do a fantastic job of making suggestions if you’re not sure what to try or buy.

Absolutely love this cathedral of tabletop gaming! Several of the employees tried to help me find a new board game for my son and their selection is massive. They also have a lending library where you can try out almost every game they have. Their restaurant is also great; I had a delicious Cubano and their fries are amazing.

Great store with a wide variety of products and good food.
I usually go in to buy supplies for my model painting hobby. They are always very helpful with any question I might have about any of the games I'm purchasing supplies for.
They host events every week with a calendar on their website.

For a board gamer who loves good food and drinks this place was a little bit of heaven on earth. You can borrow for free many different types of board games. Also their sourdough grilled cheese sandwich was simply wonderful. You would be surprised how many people screw up a basic grilled cheese. Also full bar to compliment your evening board games. I had to add staff was legit, SUPER helpful, available, and friendly
