El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant

My brother and I just ordered some food from El Ranchero, The food was very good and was quickly made. (approximately 7 minutes) The people working there were very friendly and helpful when recommending me what to eat. Very good atmosphere and just a good place overall.

Delicious food and enormous portions! Very awesome atmosphere 👏 and very kind and wonderful service! A hidden jewel in our community. Please go try them! You won't be disappointed 😌

Food was fresh and not greasy, you can tell they take pride in it. The waitress was more than friendly, they were on top of the refills the whole time. We have 2 young children and my youngest, who has no filter, said out loud that she didn’t like red sauce and without asking the waitress brought her some queso that was very good. Very impressed we will be coming back.

Good evening: I visited this restaurant on 12/29/22. It was a great experience. I had carne asada and it was delicious. The place was very quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Food is always delicious. Drinks are amazing. This is a good restaurant for such a small town to have.

Went there with friends for a late lunch/early dinner, and the six of us all received our meals quickly. Great food, and they even have original recipe Coke in the old bottles (still made south of the border).

Worth the drive from anywhere!!! Family owned restaurant where everything is scratch made in-house. Honestly, the entire menu is great, but the salsa and made-to-order guac (and secret special reserve tomatillo hot sauce) are bright and fresh, the burritos are huge and filled with fresh ingredients, and the fajitas are an absolute steal, especially when compared to chain restaurants at nearly twice the price with half the quality. Call ahead for the coctel de camarones - this special, off the menu item made by advance request only is a Mexican shrimp cocktail with a Bloody Mary twist, tequila added for the daring. It's seriously delicious. Best authentic Mexican restaurant between Williamsburg and Richmond.

My granddaughter and I stopped for lunch. We had never been there so didn't know what to expect. The salsa was the best and the food was fresh, hot and tasted delicious. Can't wait to go back.

We are locals and love this restaurant. The food is consistently good; it is always hard to decide what to get because all of the dishes are great and really nice sized portions.

The food was really good. The large blue raspberry margarita was scrumptious! I would recommend washing the table condiments with some hot soapy water.

Very good. I was skeptical because so many mexican restaurants taste like fast food. Very fresh here. Would eat here again. Reasonable prices. Casual.

I just came back from El Ranchero, the food was great , excellent customer service, good prices....I recommend to stop by to have lunch or dinner to anyone that visits Williamsburg or this area.

Excellent food. Tableside guacamole, sangria, chimichanga, fajitas mixta, margaritas. The patio is open, too!
