Tom & Ann Hunnicutt Family YMCA

Everyone is so kind and my son loves going to swim class here! We switched from swim classes with another local organization and the experience at the Y has been so much better. Since day 1, we have felt welcome and the communication has been clear. Everyone takes the children’s safety seriously and makes things fun for them too. We are continuing swim lessons with the next session and look forward to it!

My son (8) has been attending swim lessons here since the fall, and he loves it. Initially he told me that he just wanted to swim, but he didn't want to have to do any kind of competitions, and now he's asking when he can join the swim team. The classes have been small, allowing a lot more time with each kid. I imagine during the summer the classes will fill up more, but up to this point he's only had 3-4 kids in each of his classes. The instructors are knowledgeable and patient (for the most part). We live much closer to the Victory YMCA, and started attending this one initially because the Victory classes were full, but we continue to attend the Tom & Ann Hannicutt YMCA because we love it there.

My daughter loves going to the Y for swim lessons. We've been going since last fall and it's been wonderful. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and so friendly!! I'm glad they have made this experience for my daughter so amazing.

We came here primarily for swim lessons with Miss Gail. She's so personable and fun with the kids. The facilities have been updated and are spacious and nice as is the pool area. The front desk staff is always welcoming and warm to all who enter.

Ever since the summer started this has been a very wonderful experience. My child is special needs and I think that he has been getting exceptional treatment from the staff and even the kiddos that go to this location.

My kid doesn't know how to swim and we were at the pool at our house and he grabbed a noodle and try to practice swimming on his own. The classes have been really helpful and I am blessed to have such wonderful people look after my child when I am at work.

Thank you to all the beautiful staff members that have helped for the summer camp with my child. May you guys have a blessed school year and thank you for all that you do.

I love the YMCA Swim instructors and how hands on and direct they are with instructing my son 1:1 in each individual swim session! They are warm, kind hearted and gentle .

Tom & Ann Hunnicutt Family YMCA is the best Y for myself and my family. The staff are cool and the classes are taught well.

I have been going to the Y for about 10 years i enjoy it! The environment is very welcoming and clean. Mr Garry is outstanding!! He is the best personal trainer i have ever had!! Extremely thorough and gives You 100% every session. He encouraged me even when i wanted to quit i walked away feeling like someone truly really cared!! He made me feel like family and i appreciate his presence at this Y , what a wonderful asset!

love the Y, the staff is always friendly and helpful. love the summer outtings and whats offered. Been with the Y for years and i wouldnt drop the membership

Very clean and affordable. Very comfortable there working out. Staff is always helpful.

I am very impressed at the quality of services that this ymca has to offer. The building itself is older, but they have updated equipment and a great layout. The child time is so neat, clean and organized! The pool is large enough for what they offer, the workout space upstairs is great for an individual just wanting to keep in shape and get their weight lifting on. Cardio and bikes are plentiful and well organized. The lobby is very inviting so if you just need to take a mental break and read a book or relax, your welcome to. Basketball court is large, 1 hoop looks to be broken right now so I hope they fix that soon (that's the only thing I saw that looked run down or uninviting). The front desk clerk was so pleasant, and the child time workers made me feel at ease leaving my kiddos in there. This is a great place to do fun activities with your kids!

Excellent gym. My happy place. Clean facility. The staff are knowledgeable and professional and friendly. Lot's of aquatic groups.

Ms. Debbie is amazing! She has so much patience with the kids and really is very knowledgeable about water safety and getting the kids to feel comfortable. I would recommend her as an instructor to anyone!

As of now I have received attentive care in every way in regards to establishing a membership & registering my daughter in the child care program. From what I have experienced thus far I look forward to the future at the YMCA.

Ms. Gayle was such a warm and engaging swim instructor. She connects with her class in a special way and really builds their confidence. I would recommend her and this YMCA for swim lessons to anyone!

My daughter loved her week in Summer Camp. She was excited to go everyday! My favorite part is she was knocked out as soon as I got down the street from picking her up :)

This is a great facility. I really appreciate how kind the staff is and how hospitable the members are. The exercise equipment is in good working order and the free weight room is ample. The location, off of Warwick, is conveniently accessible. It is easy to find parking and to get in and out due to a traffic light.

Amazing childcare, the work out space was clean and everyone was friendly. I love this center, will be returning!
