The best lumpia! Got chicken and beef. Fabulous and friendly. Got it to go and fast too. They also sell it frozen, which is my next objective. Pricing was great. Now on my 'must have' list. Try them out, you'll be glad

I just went there yesterday. O.m.g!! I got some rolls that had purple yam in it and my sister got the ones that had coconut in it. It was amazing!!!! The texture bwas like super soft and doughy bread but it tastes like a donut! Oh! I am ashamed to say I ate 3😶. It was so cool to see dessert from another culture. I am going back this week to wee what else I can get! They sell hot food too!! You really need to go!

BEST pandesal in the 757, if not the entire east coast! I'm Filipino and my family has been loyally going to Manila Bread House ever since it opened in the 80s with the original owners. Whenever I have relatives coming into town - from New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, Florida, Texas - they always bring home boxes of pandesal because it's better than the Filipino bakeries in their areas (even if there is a large filipino community there). I have since moved away from Norfolk, but every time I visit, I stock up and bring back dozens of pandesal because no other recipes compare. Joe and his family currently run the shop and they treat you like family. They even made my sister's wedding cake! Please support this wonderful Asian small business!

We have done a lot of business with Manila Bread over the last 4-5 years ... Joe and his workers has always gone on and above every time we have rolled in to town. Some times we stayed in town for 3 weeks and a couple times only a week. We went thru Norfolk 04/04/2015 we stop to load up with many products from the store and had some great fish cooked up .... his prices are reasonable. Its seems to me there is always something new to try and it has to be some of the best home made Filipino bread on the planet , Its made fresh every day you can even phone in a head of time for special orders . Its even better than over in PI getting it fresh each morning from the market... its huge and warm and very light and taste great ... Thank you Joe for doing a great job ,

i would just like to also say , I've watch him deal with many different types of customers and he treats them all the same one customer at a time and I always enjoy standing back and watching him do it the " joe " way with a warm friendly greeting and a big smile , wish more business where like that ! so personable......

This place seriously has the best lumpia! Manila Bread House is my go-to place for ready-made ones, and it's always a good fix for lumpia cravings. 🤤

BEST PANDESAL EVER! I grew up in the Philippines so that says a lot. They have fresh baked bread by noon and don't wait until the end of the day because they sell fast!

They make the best Ube bread! My son loves it! I’m glad I discovered this place. I will definitely be coming back for more.

More than a bakery its a small food market with fresh fish, about 3 different prepared foods and a very friendly staff.
