Home2 Suites by Hilton Norfolk Airport

The video is longer, but this place was nice! Definitely added to my hotels travel list. We didn't get a chance to get in the pool. But did take advantage of the gym. It's not far from shopping. The place was cleannnnn..... highly recommend.

Listen, I travel a lot. This is my first time staying in a Home2 suites, and I honestly can say that I never want to stay anywhere else. The rooms are spacious and clean, beds and pillows top notch, the staff is super friendly, the breakfast is delicious and provides a bunch of great choices, and the workout room is fantastic. Coupled with the proximity to both the base and the airport and this Home2 Suites is a five star in my book and is certainly my first choice in the Norfolk area. Full size refrigerator means I actually was able to fit all of my travel food in instead of trying to smash it in a mini fridge. Suite comes complete with dishwasher, silverware, plates, and all of the other items you need for an extended stay. I am here for a week and it has only been one day, but I know the entire stay is going to be marvelous. Special thanks to front desk clerk Jamel who treats guests like family. What an amazing representative of a truly marvelous hotel. Thanks Jamel!!

First time here and I have to say that I really enjoyed my stay. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff and the breakfast room was a plus! The breakfast staff were also very nice. The room was big enough and cozy and most importantly, clean! The location is a big deal since it is super close to a bunch of restaurants and supermarkets. I recommend this hotel :)

Five stars for everything, from answering the phone, to the greeting upon arrival, room cleanliness , to the wonderful service at the morning buffet. I've been to Home2 by Hilton in other cities, and this one is one of the best. I did notice that the kitchen does not offer the cooking top range, and the only way to cook my food was the microwave , which is strange for Home2, maybe because I picked a small room! Again, five stars despite I'm not a fan of the unlockable sliding bathroom doors.

My stay was absolutely fantastic! The bed was incredibly cozy, providing a restful night's sleep, and the room was impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Special thanks to the wonderful receptionists, Leila and Keisha, whose kindness and helpfulness enhanced my overall experience. I would without a doubt stay here again.

We had a beautiful stay. I loved the room with a full kitchen. The place is so beautiful. My fiance's son is in the hospital in Norfolk so we were only 5 minutes from there. We will be staying there often. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff working there were very nice and helpful. A great breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks

We booked a room on Sunday July 9-10. The hotel was very nice and spacious. It was very clean but I still used Lysol & Clorox wipes and cleaned again. The only thing is a guest told me the wifi had been down for 3 days. It was down. Parking lot was well lit and the outside & inside was clean.

Love the Home2Suites, clean decor, above average continental breakfast. This one seemed to have heated pool, 5 stars for that!!! One other location was not heated, everyone posting please mention want heated pool in all locations!

What a great place to stay, very clean, pool was fun, and a great fitness room. Staff was great, and Breakfast was awesome!! A lot of variety including waffles, cereal, oatmeal (toppings) bagels and sausage biscuits! And more:) breakfast also stays open until 10am which was great !

Nice rooms. Getting across the road to it was confusing. I ended up going past it and had to another half mile before I could turn around.

We travel to a lot of hotels for tournaments, college visits, etc. and this was one of my favorite hotels I've stayed at. Our room was incredibly clean and spacious. There was a kitchen area (without a stove though) that including a full size fridge, dishwasher, plates, utensils, toaster over and sink. We had a couch with a pullout sofa along with 2 beds. There was a curtain that separated the couch/ living area from the room. There was also a pull out table that could be used as a dining area. We pulled it to the couch, which gave us seating for 4 with the desk chair.

My only 2 complaints is that breakfast wasn't great and there was no stovetop in the room. I've had a lot better for breakfast. I wished there were more protein options. I also thought it was odd that I had all the kitchen supplies but no stovetop to cook. I've never been in a hotel that offered a dishwasher, dishes, sink, etc. but no stove top.

This hotel is located about 5 minutes from VWU, where our daughter will attend college. It's a couple minutes from Ikea and the outlet malls. We plan on staying here when we visit our daughter at college. I loved how big the room was.

-The staff members were polite and courteous
-The room was clean and spacious and also had a microwave, nice sized refrigerator, dishes and silverware
-Complimentary breakfast has nice options and area was kept clean and well stocked
-Gym was roomy and had modern equipment. The pool area was clean
-The outdoor seating area was a nice touch and there’s even 2 grills out front for guests to use.
-There was plenty of parking and quick access to the interstate.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

During my recent visit to Norfolk, I stayed at this Home2Suites for two nights. I had only planned on one night. However, the room was so nice decided to extend my stay. I booked online with Hilton honors points without a problem. They offer digital key and digital checkout. So, if you want to bypass the check-in and check-out process at the desk, you can. Everything was clean, lobby, pool area, elevators, room, and gym.
The pool is small but serves it purpose. Breakfast was hot and acceptable. They offer egg and bacon sandwich , western omelet, sausage and biscuits, fresh fruit, juices, hot beverages, self-made waffles, and muffins. Only breakfast that offers real serving plates, glasses, and utensils. The rooms are spacious and have full fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kitchen sink, microwave, coffee maker ( and tea bags), couch ottoman, and dining table and desk. There are plenty of draws and storage areas. They are not stingy with he towels either. The workers cleaning the rooms and common area as well as desk staff were friendly and courteous. I will definitely stay here again.

Close to the airport, as we needed. Room was clean and updated. Pool and workout room were nice. The service was great and treated us well. The breakfast was a great perk and everyone found something good to eat. On our second visit, the room had a strong perfume (incense?) smell that overwhelmed, have us headaches, and didn't seem necessary. The room didn't seem to smell bad otherwise. Thankfully it mellowed out within a couple of hours. On the second visit, they had only 2 pool towels left and no options.

I actually got the room for relatives, but I did interact w/ the staff & saw the rooms...my family enjoyed their stay there....

This was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. It's new, so it's bright and clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room on the top floor was very quiet. In fact, it was the quietest place I have ever stayed. Also, the room darkening shade worked very well.
The staff went above and beyond to greet and chat with us. I got the feeling they genuinely cared about the guests.
I would definitely stay here again!!

Gave my daughter her Sweet 16 celebration here. Great Location! Very beautiful place! Everything was A+ and the team made us feel welcome. Our stay here was wonderful and this hotel is highly recommended! We will be back real soon!

We usually stay at Hampton Inns, but we decided to take a chance because the photos of the gym showed more weights and equipment than the one at the closest Hampton Inn. Glad that we did! Love the contemporary style of the hotel, staff was efficient and friendly, room was clean and comfortable and the gym lived up to the hype. A lot of hotel "suites" aren't true suites, they're either one big room with a sitting area (worst) or two rooms with a doorway (better). This suite had a good solid door between the bedroom and living area, and a Jack and Jill bath accessible from either room, so we could shut the door and sleep in peace while the teenager stayed up late watching TV. Also, we were nervous when we arrived because we were obviously in a flight path, but the hotel is very well soundproofed and we didn't hear a single plane once inside our room.
