Mac Arthur Pharmacy

Love this pharmacy! I work nearby, so it's so helpful to be able to run in there to buy household/personal care items I may need but don't have the time or energy to go to Walmart or something after work!
The owner is really nice too!
I do wish they had a little bit more of a canned-good/frozen food selection, but I understand that they're working with limited space.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see how many household maintenance/cleaning products they carry, some of which I can't find very easily at bigger name-brand stores!
Highly recommend this place for quick errand trips; Advil; snacks; and more!

I am so happy that this is our new pharmacy and no longer CVS or Walgreens. Get this, when I called, a HUMAN answered after a few rings and when I went there, it was so smooth to get my prescription. I received text alerts once it was ready and the staff are friendly. They also allowed my dog inside which was really convenient to pick it up and leave.

Less than a few days ago I went into the Macarthur Pharmacy in Norfolk Virginia for a few items (the one on Granby where I picked up some raspberry chapstick some picks etc.). The employees I interacted with were polite.

Request refill, walk into the store, get it, pay for it and be on your way in a couple minutes. So glad I switched from the awful Walgreens in Ghent.

Nice pharmacy, should really consider opening up on Sundays for locals. Sundays are when many people that live in the area are off. Since this is the only location close to anyone in the area of its kind. It would be super convenient for many as well as a good business day for the store itself.

The staff here are amazing. It can get a little busy but that is because it is in a great location. Not too far from the Governor School of the Arts, plenty of businesses, restaurants, and Tidewater Community College.

Love Dave and Chris! They are always so helpful and kind, such great customer service! The female pharmacist could learn a thing or two from the owners about how to treat her customers. 5 stars for Dave and Chris though!

This independent local pharmacy is expertly owned and operated by co-owners Chris Lawrence and David Bass. While located in the heart of the central business district of a major city, MacArthur Pharmacy has the warm and welcoming feel of small town store.. Chris and David greet their customers by name and serve them quickly. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for a prescription to be filled. However if you can’t wait, or want a refill without visiting the store, MacArthur Pharmacy will deliver your medication to your home or office. Amazing. MacArthur is my pharmacy for life.

This is a great place to have in downtown NORFOLK. They are always super helpful. You can run in here and get pretty much anything you need, a snack, poster board, small selection of office supplies, energy drinks. This place is a life saver when you work downtown. And I’m sure if you lived downtown would be as well.

I love this place. They are kind and very respectful. They will even bring your meds out to your vehicle if there is no parking. Wonderful place. Delivery is amazing and they are friendly.

Super friendly pharmacy. They didn’t have what I was looking for, and before I could even ask, they offered to get it overnight. Says a lot about their customer service. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking!

I went in there looking for a a type of heating pad for my neck both the young man behind the sales counter and the gentleman in the back were very very helpful and very very friendly a great neighborhood store that I suggest anyone who needs something go there they are very friendly and helpful

Great pharmacy, with a nice pharmacist. I was helped as soon as I hit the cough and cold aisle, and was given plenty of options that would meet my needs.

Ran into this small store to grab something to drink. The cashier was kind and directed me exactly to what I needed.
