What a wonderful and delightful experience. Came here for Happy Hour for my birthday and was not disappointed. The flavors of everything we ate made my eyes roll into the back of my head. Absolutely delicious. Drink options for everyone and the wine list is impeccable. I will definitely be coming back again.

Excellent wine, excellent food, excellent service.

They were all super nice when we walked in, informed us that even though they didn't have a table for 2 at 6pm on a Monday (seriously good for them) we could sit at the bar. Bar seating is comfortable and spacious. Both my wife and I got the grilled cheese with bacon and the tomato soup. Yummy yummy! The wine selection is INSANE! You'll definitely find something you like here.

I always grab the grilled cheese sandwich with the salad. One day, I'll try something new. It was get to come to town and see this place is still loved and the same. Great glass, a wine to wish it down. Comfortable place to eat solo or with friends.

Great wine, atmosphere, chill place for lunch to relax between work. Lovely goat cheese app, the fresh rosemary fries are to die for. Tomato soup was delicious, as was the grilled cheese as well!

Food was fantastic and great portion sizes. Was located in a repurposed mansion home. Nice to have a good Belgium beer. No enter menu at lunch but what the had to offer was delicious.

5 stars doesn't speak enough volume. Place is super cute and quaint on the outside. Walk in and it's gorgeous. Service is phenomenal! Huge selection of wine by the glass and by bottle. The cheese platter and charcuterie board was perfection. I ordered the Miso Salmon which was spot on delicious. Reasonably priced. I do recommend that you make a reservation as seating is limited, but you can sit at the bar and order as well. I waited too long to try out this gem!

The food is great but the drinks are BETTER!

I have been here twice and both visits did not disappoint. The first, I ordered the gnocchi and added salmon and it was DELICIOUS. The second trip, I ordered the miso salmon (pictured). I would happily order both, again.

Their wine and cocktail selections are fantastic. I ordered the cheapest red on the menu and it was one of the tastiest wines I’ve ever sipped. (And their non-alcoholic spritzers were a great option for my pregnant wife).

We will surely return.

Hands down one of my favorite restaurants. This place is not only beautiful inside but the food and wine are just amazing and delicious. Everything is so fresh the service is wonderful. Thank you for making my birthday special.

There are so many great things I can say about Press. It has been around for so long and with great reason. The food is delicious, the wine selection is vast, and the service is always great. Not to mention, the ambience is so cozy and unique, as the restaurant is a house that was converted into a restaurant.

Most recently, our server was Neil, and he was phenomenal. He had a great personality and put up with our group's joking demeanor. He thoughtfully split sandwiches that were being shared and assisted in selecting a wine.

I really love this place and always have an enjoyable time when I visit.

Craft cocktails and amazing food. Fresh “Non-alcoholic Cucumber Mint Fresh Squeezed Spritzer”, “Australian Lamb Chops” were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, gluten free and the miso tahini hummus with mint chimichurri that came with it was so tasty and of course I had to try their vegan “Mezze Cheese Board”, as a cheese lover is mandatory!

Press 626 was amazing, great atmosphere, outstanding costumer service, my bartender Betti was super nice and welcoming. This place is very casual for a fancy place. Definitely recommend if you pass through Norfolk, I personally loved it.

Can't believe I've waited so long to eat here. Exceeded every expectation. Beets and Brussels delicious with an added side of perfectly cooked salmon far exceeded any expectation. The Award Winning Grilled Cheese with additions above and beyond its title. Prices for Happy Hour were plenty to pull you in and keep you for a gorgeous cheeseboard with drinks brought by a very attentive server, on point with her recommendations. Go, sit outside, enjoy a warm fall evening, and be kind to yourself.

Very cute place that is relaxing to hang out at. The duck grilled cheese is so good! I lived walking distance from here and it is a staple if you’re in the Ghent neighborhood

Lovely place with great customer service, an excellent wine list and yummy food! I had the warm beet and brussel salad with added salmon on top, and my husband had the ravioli with shrimp added- both were delicious! To finish, we has the yuzu lime cheesecake- so wonderful! We had a few different types of wine over the course of the evening- try the chenin blanc- very floral, really nice with my salmon! We'll be back to explore the wine list!

First impressions is that the place is an incredible looking building in the Ghent area with a very aesthetic patio area. I enjoyed the casual yet elegant environment that they offered and had such interesting decor inside. We ordered the beyond burger meat for the Press Burger which had bacon jam, very glad that I got to experience that meal. My GF ordered the blackened salmon BLT with avocado, and mentioned that it was the best salmon she has ever tasted with so much flavor. I highly recommend this place for a lunch date or for drinks out in the patio. 10/10 will recommend for anyone to try!

My food was amazing, and our server was awesome!!! I will definitely recommend and go back. It was a little dim in the restaurant because of the candle lit setting, but these lamb chops were GREAT!!!

Amazing night out with my coworker. This was our first time going to Press 626 Wine Bar. I had the Lamb meatball with marinara sauce - small plate. For my meal, I had Duck with Asparagus and Potatoes. For dessert, I had Almond Creme Brulee with Blueberries and Almond pieces.... Everything was so good and our server was the best. Great dining experience. I will revisit.

Stopped in to share some small plates and have wine at this adorable boutique wine bar and restaurant. The wine list is extensive and a bit overwhelming at first. Our server , Sarah B., was very knowledgeable and helped select a wonderful chinon blanc.
Highly recommend the JM Raffault Chinon Blanc and Landhaus Mayer Gruner Veltline.
You also have to try appetizer, "Cheap Date." It may be best to pay cash. This place adds a transaction fee of 4-5$ for credit card payment.

Beautiful environment for an evening out. Very attentive and friendly staff. Personalized experience and the best drinks with custom pairing options. Found the menu quite extensive yet somehow simplistic. Food was terrific and drinks were even better. Five stars overall.

Such a cute vibe at Press 626. Great food and good service. I had the bacon wrapped dates as they were recommended by another Google Local Guide. They did not disappoint. They were delicious. However, they were sitting on a small amount of blue cheese sauce and that wasn't mentioned in the menu. I HATE BLUE CHEESE. Good thing it was easy to wipe off and I couldn't taste it.
The crabcake sandwich, salmon BLT and crabcakes were all delicious. The Lavender Sweet Tea didn't taste very lavendery, but that was ok.
Also had the bread pudding which was tasty as well.
While visiting my sister she recommended Press 626. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Norfolk or the surrounding area. Parking can be a bit of a challenge depending on the time.

Press always comes through with great atmosphere, service, food, and wine. Every moment from entering the door to leaving adds to a great experience. This is my go-to for date on on any day of the week. The wine selection is a novel for wine lovers of all types with any budget. The staff is able to assist with pairings and recommendations on cocktails as well.
I had the ‘Cheap Dates’ which are bacon wrapped dates as an appetizer. Very delicious.

I’m very lucky to have such a high-tier establishment so close to home in the heart of Ghent and I always look forward to my next visit.
