Fountainhead Regional Park - Mountain Bike Trail Parking

Best mountain biking in the area, by far. Single track with varying levels and you can pick your mileage and difficulty. Great jumps or just ride the trails. Not great for beginners. The photo is from the "green" section. The "blue" trails are not bad. The "black" trails are challenging but great. Avoid if it's been raining as it is closed if muddy. Also would be treacherous if wet! Plenty of parking but crowded on weekends. There's even some tools and a picnic table available at the mid-point.

Very fun green loop. If it’s your first time and are beginning in MTB I recommend to first take your time to explore at your pace. Enjoy!

A large parking area that provides access to the amenities Fountainhead regional park has to offer. The marina is a short distance away, where you can kayak. The Bull Run Occoquan trail as well as the nearby mountain bike only area and other hiking trails are all accessible from this parking area.
