Loved everything I ordered with the exception of the gumbo! The rice was a little hard. The flavor overall was good, though!

Fish and shrimp were done exactly right. The cole slaw was fresh and the seasoned green beans were excellent. Prefer to go in to place my order versus the drive through and only had to wait 5-10 minutes for my order. Very friendly service. I like that they show you your meal to ensure it's correct. This has quickly become my Thursday evening stop for dinner.

Each experience I had with this restaurant has been excellent. Food is made to order so fresh and hot! I went around 2pm.

I was told by a friend that this location was the absolute worst so I stayed away for a while. This day I decided to go against the grain and give it a try myself and I have to day that I was completely satisfied with my service and the food. The drive-thru was fast and efficient. My other came out fresh and my food was delicious. I will definitely come back in the future.

This has always been a very good captain D's. The fried seafood platters and family meals are a much higher quality than their price. Clean bright remodeled interior with great seafood and sides. This place is solid.

I got the Supreme Sampler Platter! It was fast service at the drive thru and the food was hot. Very tasty also!!!

Staff very courteous, and respectful, the manger “Mrs Teresa” is one of the nicest people and care about the food being cooked and prepared to perfection. She takes time making sure staff is caring to the customers orders. She is the showman ship that all managers should represent as a energetic, caring and instilled respect in her staff. They all great you as you walk in the building, and attend to your every need as for the food. I’m a catfish specialists and they cooked them to perfection. I even got a second order to go. I drove back to Maryland with that catfish in the back. I devoured it and one we unpacked. Taste the absolute best I have eaten in years. Taste like catfish from my Grandma kitchen. Coleslaw has some kick to it and was tasty, “OMG” I am going back to this location upon my return in a few weeks. My suggestion is to stop into establishment and get your eat on.

Food is Always Good..... Service Sometimes Struggles...But overall not bad..You can tell the ppl that work there are doing the best they can with what they have...And that's all you can ask for😐😐😐😐

I placed an order for Catfish feast fried (HARD). It was not fried as I specified and was too hard. I called back on a Sunday, because I placed the order Friday Evening. Too make a long story short. Genene a Manager not only replaced the meal at no cost to me...but she cooked it like a dam PRO....I mean that Catfish fried hard came out so HOT,FRESH,PRETTY GOLDEN BROWN....I mean dammm their response and the way she handled it was PERFECTION and PROFESSIONALISM. It's NOT about the problem - rather the way she HANDLED the problem. Thank you CAPTAIN D'S and Genene...

Placed a order for a #3 meal on 10/09/22 line was long but moving rather quickly my food was hot and fresh the lady working at the window was nice I even went inside to throw my garbage away and she gave me a refill 10/10 definitely will be returning .

I would like to say I come 10 miles out of the way to this location on 21st street in Norfolk Va to Captain D's. I use the drive thru. My orders have been correct 98% of the time. My food is always hot and fresh. I appreciate the service.

The place might not be shiny and new, but let me say that everything they serve is EXCELLENT!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I usually try to avoid Captain Ds because the food is so greasy and salty but this place was pleasantly surprising. I will definitely be visiting again! So if Doumars is packed or your in need of a good fish sandwich Cap'n D has you covered.

Great fast food for.the price and quality. You can get 2 fish fillets, w 2 sides and and HOT hushpuppies for around $7. I've been a fan for more than 30 years.

If you want a kinda quick fried seafood dinner you can't go wrong here. My family is here about once a week. The food is consistent, prices fair and the employees a kind.

Always fresh, hot, and delish!!! Although they are marketed as fast food they are really a short order restaurant. And they are super fast for a short order restaurant. Plus they always get my order correct and I get plenty of condements.

Amazing service. Sometimes the line can be a little crazy, but the food and staff are always on point and they greet you with kindness everytime.
