World of Mirth

This is by far one of the coolest toy stores I’ve ever been to! Between having stuff for all ages, a helpful staff and inclusive merchandise - you can find something for everyone!

I meandered into this place while walking down the street and it was so worth it. The gentleman working was friendly and very welcoming. The store had so many cool and unique items for children and adults of all ages. I ended up getting my kids a handful of goodies. I would absolutely return to this place if given the chance.

I can not begin to state how much i love world of mirth. Such a fun store with an incredible selection, and to top it off, all of their employees are so friendly! Even if you don’t need help finding anything they strike up conversation and really make you feel valued as a customer. Be sure to stop in if you’re in the area!

I have been an adult for 20 years now and since I first visited World of Mirth 20 years ago it has been my favorite place! It’s the embodiment of the word FUN and always has so much cool stuff, even if you don’t play with toys anymore. I visited today for the first time in a long long time and it is just as delicious although I don’t think they have the shrine anymore. There was tons of staff on the floor and everyone was soooo nice, super cool. A Richmond must!

Today I was gift shopping for a 2 year old’s birthday and Wade shared several fun, age-appropriate options. I’m excited to gift the one I chose & will definitely be back for holiday shopping. The staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable about their well curated inventory.

Super cool store with very nice, helpful staff. This store is mainly kids toys and learning tools, along with some adult items (not inappropriate, just for older people). There was a wide selection of games and stuffed animals, too. Check out pics for more of the selection.

Such an awesome store!! Loved visiting here as an adult, can only imagine how cool it would be for a kid. From the decorations to the toy selection and friendly staff, this store is a MUST GO. Loved it!

I took my daughter yesterday to celebrate her 5th birthday by letting her explore and pick out a gift. The staff was attentive and wonderful! They seem to truly love kids and were totally understanding when she was acting silly and all over the place because she hadn't napped lol :-) Our trip was made even more magical by an anonymous patron who gifted her $100 bill to spend on her birthday, delivered by one of the store employees!! We could have spent hours in the store given the many cool options that you simply don't find at a standard dept store. Plenty of STEM toys and unique games and books. I'll definitely be back for Christmas shopping and for our special occasions to experience the wonder and joy through my childs eyes. World of Mirth is a Richmond treasure!!

Excellent selection of wild and crazy merchandise. Awesome staff who are very helpful. Met an amazing salesperson named Harvey who was the best. A keeper. Don't let Harvey slip away.

This is a super fun shop for kids and grownups alike! They have such a great variety of stuff. Definitely a great place to find a gift for someone. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. They all seem genuinely happy to be there. We have a great experience every time we go. It's a fun place to take friends/family who are visiting from out of town.

One of my favorite stores of all time! So easy to get lost with all of cool things. The staff is so friendly and I look forward to talking with them every time I come in. I’ve been coming to world of mirth since I was a toddler & love it more every year that I get older. They also have Sonny angels wohooooo awesome !!!

Fun place full of eclectic gift ideas for young, old and everything in between. Games, puzzles, crafts, and more. Definitely a fun place to check out!

I love this place! All of the staff are always super friendly and our cashier today (didn’t get his name) bagged our gifts with tissue paper and everything for our friend with no charge and greeted us at the door with a super friendly welcome. Always love coming in here and seeing what they have. Love this place!

Cute little store in Richmond. My daughter wanted to go here because they sell a particular toy she collects. Friendly and helpful staff. I even picked up a cute pair of socks for myself as well as a gift for my best friend. Will definitely visit again if we are in the area

Some of the nicest staff in Richmond. A nice environment with a lot of interesting items. There are a few gift stores in Carytown that all sell the same things as each other - world of mirth is actually different. They have a very wide selection of quality items, a lovely atmosphere, and actually seem properly staffed (which is really nice, because the workers deserve the world).
