We had a wonderful time! The staff made my son’s birthday very deliciously delightful. We can’t wait to go back!

From the moment i walked in to leaving the employees were excellent and all were friendly, smiling, polite, very helpful which all are rare anymore.
I ordered the burrito loco and can honestly say ive not had mexican this good since it was home-cooked.
I will definitely be going here a lot.

We are always ordering from this place. The steak burrito is my favorite. I am also very particular with how my guac is made, and they make some of the best. They’re also very reasonable for the amount of food you get.
Highly recommend.

I've been to this restaurant multiple times and each time it has been a fantastic. The portions of food are incredible and well worth it. I'm surprised I had never went here before since it's kind of tucked away.

This place is great, in fact one of my family's favorite restaurants. The food tastes like it does in Mexico. The service is always good and we love the hand crafted furniture. Highly recommended.

We recently hosted our Christmas party with over 25 guests at El Cerrito Mexican Restaurant & Grill in New Port Richey, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the level of service and attention to detail was remarkable.

The waitstaff were notably attentive, ensuring that all our guests were well taken care of. They consistently kept up with beverage refills and were quick to accommodate any requests. It was impressive how they managed to keep everything running smoothly without missing a beat.

A special shout-out to the kitchen staff for their fantastic job in timing the food delivery perfectly. Serving a large group simultaneously is no easy task, but they executed it flawlessly. Each dish was a culinary delight, resonating the authentic flavors and freshness that we've always loved at El Cerrito.

The entire evening was seamless, thanks to the diligent and warm staff who went above and beyond to make our party a wonderful and memorable event. We are sincerely grateful to everyone at El Cerrito Mexican Restaurant & Grill for their exceptional service and for playing a pivotal role in the success of our Christmas celebration. Clean, festive and the people were very friendly. We were seated immediately. The choices on the menu were great and prices were lower than other local Mexican food. The food did not disappoint! Delicious.

The restaurant looks small on the outside but it's a fairly nice size and clean. The staff is quick and efficient!

Taco Tuesday is fantastic! Drinks are well made and on Wednesday they have a Margherita special.
I love the Queso for the chips. I highly recommend trying the chimichanga or lunch #10.

Very tasty tacos and burritos. The waitresses were all very nice. Service was fast. The drinks were great.

the owner serves with a great smile and warmth.. My fav is empanada in any mexican plc i go.. Its here that i came to know EMPANADA IS CUBAN AND NOT MEXICAN !!

I had some quesadilla and enchilada.. both were awesome.. the chips were warm and fresh served with salsa.. guacamole was freshly made..

Went out to eat with my wife. Service was prompt and caring. Food came out fast, piping hot and very delicious 😋. Would definitely eat there again.

Awesome food, always delicious. Great drinks too. Great staff. I've been several times always like trying new items on the menu everything is delicious and fresh beautiful setting. Waitresses and waiters are very nice.

Had a great working lunch at El Cerrito today. Super clean, friendly service, and the burrito loco was excellent. They have a big tequila selection so I looking forward to trying a margarita next time.

A good mexican restaurant is hard to find,well finely i found one .The food is excellent ,service A+ they work hard this place stays busy at primetimes .My small complaint is that they can be so busy the atmosphere gets loud and crowded i feel like they need to expand to a bigger space .

Fast friendly service and the best Mexican food I have eaten since my last trip to Mexico. The house salsa is a spicy white sauce.. Delicious

I tried Carnitas La Mexicano and my mouth is on fire. The right kind of heat. It tasted so good and the hot spices did not overwhelm the flavor. Absolute perfection. Usually when you ask for something hot at a restaurant the spices overwhelm the taste of the dish. Not in this case.. Plus the portion was so large I could have easily split it with 2 or 3 people.. But I love to take home leftovers.. The rest of this steak is gonna go great with my eggs for breakfast. I highly recommend this dish if you like spicy food.

This is one of our favorite places. The food is great. Service is very friendly. And it's casual so we can sit, relax, and enjoy ourselves.

We went for lunch so we sat immediately. The chips were nice and warm, the salsa and white sauce were delicious. My husband actually ended up buying the white sauce/salsa to bring home. He said his tamale was the best yet! I forgot what he ordered but I got the carne asada tacos from the grill with rice and beans and the portions were huge and so yummy. I couldn't even eat the last 2 tacos so we packed them up for later. Sweet tea was good which is always a plus because that's a big deal breaker for me. Wait staff was attentive and quick.
