Nashville Rescue Mission-Family

Not arriving until this weekend. I'm sure everything will be fine God is with me. I'm not looking for friends or affection, I will be working on my future. That will keep me busy. I seen a lot of bad reviews... If you look at the situation as what it is... Working on yourself, then nothing and no one other than the Lord matters. I am excited to start my journey and can not wait to help out along the way anyway I can

Volunteered at the new women and children's campus, it took some time to get it built, but it's beautiful and they do good work here. Glad to be part of that 😊

The new women’s campus is beautiful

I was just saying that I was going to visit my mission family on the 8th

I checked into The Nashville Rescue Mission today and I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and the entire staff. Thank you Nashville for making this place available for people in need as well as proving free transportation for the homeless in town and thank you to everyone working at the shelter for your warmth and kindness. Also a big thanks to Fahmi for being so friendly and kind chauffeuring people from the shelter.

The greatest place for a homeless woman in Tennessee or most likely any other state. My favorite part was the fact it is Christian centered with nightly worship services. Thank the Lord for this place through my journey of homelessness and healing. I now have been living in my own apartment for over two years. I am a survivor of domestic abuse and fled California with the clothes on my back.

Well oiled machine. Staff were friendly, fast knowledgeable and able to deploy a group of 8 newbie volunteers through the registration and activity set up process in less than an hour during peak volume time. It's a pleasure to volunteer there.

The staff here are very welcoming and clearly care about the animals here❤**EDIT** Once I discovered what I had written about the Mission, I tried to delete it, but clearly it’s STILL HERE! 🤦🏻‍♀ When I posted this, I meant to post under the Nashville Animal Shelter. This place is an awesome experience to go & serve the women who have no where to go with their children. These people give them support, supplies & food to keep them healthy. God watches over this mission in so many ways...

When I was a young childish youth... Full of anger... I was locked up for committing crimes against society... While I was incarcerated my dear sweet momma and little brother and sister were homeless... This placed helped them and my momma has not skipped a beat since... The KJV says that... "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this.... To take care of widows and orphans in their infirmities, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world... "Thank you Jesus"...

Angie is amazing! She actually *looked* for ways to help me which was so much higher than what I was expecting. I'm not sure what Angie makes a month but it's not enough because she is pricle$$ 😁

Dropping Panera bread here as often as possible weekly, thinking mostly of the children needing something while going to school from this setting. But moms need support too and everyone needs to know that God hears, God cares and God answers the poorer and needy among us.

I stayed there and it was the best thing for me and the bible study an classes are great it put me on the path to get right with God and my family if it wasn't for the mission who knows where I would be and the staff was great

It's the best shelter I have been in. As long as you follow the rules you will have no problems. I have been blessed immensely while I'm here.

great service to help those in a tight spot ,they'll give u food to eat if hungry a roof over youre head etc.a great organization Nashville's blessed to have them.

Lot nicer then the women's thank giving eve lunch was good service was nice and bathrooms was extra clean smell clean

This was easy to find. The staff was friendly. It’s a safe place if you find yourself homeless .

This place is to get ahead when your down. But other's that want 2 know let's hop they don't fall short .
