Easy communication thru the lines of NPR city call water dept while speaking w/Maria. She was EXTREMELY INFORMATIVE and really nice to speak with. THank you for being a true professional Ma'am and keep up the good work.

Everyone there was very helpful and very informative and friendly i was in and out in a flash paper work in hand.

I was just at the Sims Park with my Family. We were leaving went I saw the Downtown Trolley 🚋 we got in Robert the driver was great 😊 my son saw the LED light and he try to turn them on gave us information ℹ on the ride was a very nice experience great place to come with the Fam and enjoy ..

Estaba en el parque de New Port Richey y me encontré con trolley que por cierto me mostró parte de esta ciudad muy bonita y estoy muy satisfecho con lo que están haciendo, el chofer Rober muy amable…. Muchas Gracias por lo que están haciendo en la ciudad 👍👍👍👍👍

There's much to appreciate from this city, but fun innovative projects to raise money and get the community together can help tackle a variety of concerns (environmental awareness, fixing roads, replacing streetlights, etc). Could get schools involved too so students get inspired to make a difference.

Water utility automated pay system absolutely sucks.
I don't receive a bill at the service address because, according to them "it's in someone else's name so the post office is sending it to their house"
Well that person is my sister and she's not receiving the bill at her home address either.
Then they continued to try and lay the blame on the post office but it doesn't make sense.
Ive been disconnected every 3 months since I started service because I don't receive the bill and haven't developed a "oh damn I need to pay my water bill i dont think about" reflex yet.
it's the only bill that only lets you pay PER MONTH instead of PER ACCOUNT BALANCE when you call to pay.
Conveniently charging you $2.50 per transaction. Of course you have the option to pay a sum but the robot will only tell you the balance of each month individually so you won't know the total balance because not even the shut-off notice tells you your total balance.
Call customer service and complain about the predatory nature of their system and they say well you should do just it online - it's a better service.
Well that's fine and dandy but that doesn't negate nor justify the nature of your OTHER, supposedly "convenient" predatory system that just robbed me.
Obviously I got nowhere with these people and it's a shame.

So apparently Pasco County Parks, Recreation, and Natural Resourcesand Chasco Fiesta and New Port Richey Main Street, Inc. The Hacienda, New Port Richey are chargeing entrance to a public Park New Port Richey, Florida quite frankly you all can cram it up whee the sub dont shine where the fudgge is made as a libertarian i hate public money being spent bur when you charge for a public space and event that is traditionally free since 1947 you can sit and spin here is a google maps screen shot showing that the whole area is sims park behind The Hacienda, New Port Richey the city council an sit and spin too all of you FOCUS

I am horrified at the way residents are treated when they don't stay silent about local government happenings (or dare to voice their opinions).
The country is watching now. Your corrupt city officials are under a microscope. Hopefully all involved will lose their jobs and pensions. Welcome to the court of public opinion.

2020 2022 I was subjugated abused mistreated by the entire community by a selfish narcissistic bigoted way of life or the trash is just as high as any other place where a disabled guy was picking up after them and not only that foretold the apocalypse and Armageddon to be mocked abused and belittled even by his own parents sherri Merlin on top of the Pasco sheriff's abusing their power or lack of in the better word to an entire selfless community I've proven wrong even went to a Jewish temple called Beth Shalom well I told a rabbi name by Jeff the truth and it was too mocked in such a fashion

Regarding the City Water Department:

I’ve had autopay for over a year. I set it and forget it because I keep a pretty good budget and know about what the bills will be every month. I got a final notice from the city saying I was 3 months late and they would be shutting off my water. They had changed their system and just not updated it with everyone’s information resulting in it not drafting the payment. Then they tacked on late fees to their bill because they failed to draw the money or notify us. The very next day my mom calls me in a panic saying their water was off and the exact same thing happened to her only she didn’t catch it in time.

This is completely unacceptable and they will be collecting money in late fees from people that should not owe them.

Worst local government I've ever encountered. They refuse to fix their own engineering mistakes. Hundreds of homes in the area flood during normal Florida showers due to new road construction and the city refuses to help. They want to flood us out so they can build new commercial property.

Town takes money for FOIA requests and delays fulfillment indefinitely. When city council members are confronted about city corruption, they insult citizens and tell them to leave town. Police repeatedly invade the privacy and even the home of FOIA requester, making anti-semitic jokes. City leadership needs to be voted out and replaced with honorable residents committed to serving the public, instead of the current system of rich old white men covering up for eachother's shady abuses of power.

Looking to relocate personally and also purchasing property to build commercial building to operate my business and employ approximately 30 local citizens . After seeing how the local government feels about it's constituents I would retire and close my business before I would consider relocating even close to your municipality
