Greektown Taverna

Last night was our first time at Greektown Taverna and we loved every bit of it! From the dolmades appetizer to the stylish Greek atmosphere, our appetites were filled. I had the Moussaka with Greek lemon potatoes and zucchini while my boyfriend had the Chicken Mykonos with rice pilaf and araka. Everything was so delicious and the server was very attentive and kind. We wrapped up the night with baklava and the cheesecake of the month (white chocolate with cranberry sauce drizzled on top). 10/10 we'll be there again to try the rest of the menu!

Get a reservation online, especially for Friday and Saturday nights. It is a very popular place. We really like Greek food, and despite coming to Daytona several times every year, we just found this place recently. We've been missing out. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, the hummus is terrific, and feta fries are worth the extra couple bucks to upgrade. We were too full to try dessert, but I suspect that is well done too. We will definitely be back.

The food here is amazing. Enjoyed the gyro, grilled zucchini, braised peas, and the grape leave appetizer. The shrimp corfu is excellent as well. The service from our waiter was phenomenal as well. Definitely will be back.

The hummus is the bomb!! So, so good!! The gyro bowl was delicious with fresh veggies, the gyro sandwich was perfect. The tzatziki sauce was thick and delicious! Emily was our server and she did an amazing job!!

We had the Valentine special and it was absolutely FABULOUS. This is our second year and God willing will do it again next year. We are snowbirds and we eat here quiet often. Thank you for a great meal

I meant to take a photo before I started eating but the food looked so good I completely forgot. All the food we got was so very good. I got the stuffed chicken and my husband got the lamb, both were very well cooked and tasted great. The desserts were also very good. The service was very friendly and fast, the resturant is very clean and well decorated. It was a great date night I would recommend to anyone who loves greek food.

What an excellent Greek restaurant in town. Had to travel a bit to get here but it was worth it. The lamb meat here was soft and cooked to perfect… So well seasoned. The sautéed veggies were also great. I got carry out but look forward to returning to dine in with friends.

Love great and unique food and Greektown Taverna does not disappoint! Today I tried a few of their specials and WOW!!! I had a cup of the absolute best New England Clam Chowder ever... Not too thick, not too loose, literally just perfect. Next was their Gyro Pita Pizza (pictured below) w/ Gyro meat slices, Mozzarella, Arugula, Feta Cheese, Pickled Red Onion and topped with a scrumptious Fig drizzle... I pray this makes it's way to their regular menu!!! I never eat desert at lunch but simply could not resist the Lemon Custard w/Filo (Galaktoboureka) and it was to die for! The staff and atmosphere are right on par with the amazing quality meal they prepared.... all together, less than $25... unbelievable.

Yesterday was my first visit to this restaurant. I can't say enough about our service. In a large group sometimes service is not the best, but Scott brought his A game to work with him. Every request was attended to quickly with great respect. He was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. I ordered the Chicken Corfu, which was outstanding. I also ordered the Spanakopita, (spinach and feta pie with filo crust). I could seriously eat this for a meal!!! I had never had Greek food before, but I am ready to go back and try some more. Thank you Greektown Taverna for an exceptional dining experience. I've also included photos of other orders in our group.

My mom and I finally decided to check this place out on Saturday afternoon. I’m so sad it has taken us this long. This place is phenomenal!!

We were seated immediately and Scotty was our server.
I got the chicken pita with house made fries. Omg the chicken is marinated with awesome seasonings and it was so tender and juicy! The fries were awesome and you get a lot! I love dipping them in the tzatziki.

My mom got chicken breast marinated in seasonings with zucchini tis skaras and oven roasted potatoes. She LOVED her meal. Some of the best chicken she had had.

We also each had baklava for dessert.

Everything was amazing and Scotty was a great server! We will definitely be back!

Excellent food as always! Chicken Feta Tomato sandwich very tasty with feta fries on the side. Got the new lemon bougatsa to go. I love to get all their bougatsa flavors warmed up, then take them home and eat them cold from the fridge. In my opinion, that's the best way to eat them!

Hummus & Greek Salad were excellent. The gyro's we're chock full of meet. I didn't like the cucumber sauce but my mom did.

Flaming cheese was delicious, house bread was amazing! Everything was really good, including the service. Ricky's beer recommendation was on point.

Never had octopus grilled to perfection before. Lamb chops were to die for. Best Greek food I've ever eaten. Can't wait to go back and try the gyros.

Awesome Greek food and awesome service. We tried the Saganaki, Dolmades with Horiatiki salad and Lamb gyros. Everything was cooked perfectly and the taste was authentic. If you like Greek food and are in Ormond Beach, you have to try the food at Greektown Taverna, you will not be disappointed

First time there! Girlfriend had their Octopus appetizer, which she LOVED! I had the porkchops- delicious!!

Excellent Greek food! I think this is one of the best restaurants in the county hands down! Christian was our server and very good at his job. He was able to answer all of our questions and right on time with everything. The prices are more than reasonable and I appreciate that the owner checked on every table personally. I definitely recommend you try this restaurant out.
