One of the most professional braiding service I have ever been. 11 years strong that I have been as a client, Ethena is a successful franchise owner, she owns her own franchise, and established real estate investor.

Who would of thought a local ad on Craigslist over 8 years ago would be my new Favorite braiding salon of choice!! Their customer service is phenomenal!! No matter what city I'm in whether Charlotte, Philadelphia, Fort Mill SC, or Raleigh I will drive to Atlanta to make my super early am or mid day appointment! Ethena and her team always makes you feel at home. Oh and you will definitely leave looking like a SUPERSTAR!! Love my tree braids styles!! It seems like after 6-7 weeks of having my style and when I'm ready for something new a stranger will always compliment my hair style as if it was just done! Makes me leave it in a week or two longer. Lol! I'm very picky about my hair styles so, trust me you will not be disappointed!

I waited a couple of weeks to post my review because I wanted it to be accurate. I visited the Fayetteville location for the first time and Mandi was my stylist. My appointment was at 9am on a Saturday and when I arrived she was ready to start. I got crochet braids using the water wave hair. Everyone in the shop was professional and friendly. Mandi was very thorough and made sure to ask me how I wanted certain things (i.e. part, braid size, style ability, etc.) all throughout her styling my hair. When it was done I was very very pleased. I love my hair and can't wait to go back. I still am receiving compliments on my hair two and half weeks later. I read some of the previous negative reviews prior to going to Strands of Beauty, but I'm a person that likes to try things out myself before forming an opinion, and I was pleased with the customer service and style I received. I will definitely be returning.

By far the best tree braiding service I’ve experienced. Ethena matched my hair colors to my skin tone and the entire service was ONLY 2 HOURS!! I’ve been getting braids for 16 yrs and the time frame is usually 4 to 5 hours.

Daisy braided my hair and did an AMAZING job! They are the best braids I have ever had, and I have had a lot! She is very detail oriented and really made sure that I was happy with the end result. I am definitely going to book with her again!

I love this salon. The service is always quick and my hair looks phenomenal each time. I'm tender headed however Elena and her associates are always very gentle. If you are hesitating on confirming that appointment there is no need.

I've been using Strands of beauty for about 2 years now. I have had tree braids and crochet braids. They both work really well for me, but right now I'm in love with the crochet braids. They are fast and look great. My stylist is so friendly (Stephanie) and patient with me. I'm super tenderheaded. They take my braids down for me, wash, dry and re-braid all on the same day, which is so convenient in this busy life. Also, the salon is in a nice safe area and the business is run very professionally. They accept credit cards. They have a TV with streaming, so we watch movies or binge watch a tv show and the time goes very fast. The only complaint is that, since they don't work with chemicals at all, I can't color my hair there. It hasn't really been much of an issue, though, as the extensions hide everything. I receive complements on my hair everywhere I go.

I was passing through and stuck at the airport and found this business. I messaged Ms Ethena and she responded quickly. I told her my situation and she had a spot open the same day and I booked it. I had never gotten tree braids before and after getting my hair done by her I will be getting them from now on. I currently live in Germany and come home at least twice a year. First let me just say this review is LONG overdue. I have been going to Strands of Beauty for many years. My experience has never been less than wonderful! I even traveled from Arizona, while living there for a while, several times to Atlanta just to get my hair done. Everyone has always been professional from the sweet young lady who is the receptionist, to the owner Ethena and all the other braiders. Frankly I feel like a runway model every time I leave and will never go anyplace else to get my treebraids.

Love my crochet braids! Ethena was super fast and ensured that I got the style and fullness to suit my taste. The location is very convenient and I will definitely be back. 🙂

I went to see Ms Athena for some tree braids and she was so professional and caring. She was also training two assistants students at the time, she took such care with them sir honestly made me believe I could be student as well!! I will definitely be back!! May God Bless Your Business!

I absolutely love my hair. I am usually very picky about how may hair is done. I am recently practicing protective methods for my natural hair. I have been natural for yrs and due to braids my sides are thin. I have extremely fine hair and I am a heavy sweater so I have a hard time finding hairdressers that know exactly how to style my hair have it look natural ( weave) and be protective and light at the same time. I had my hair done 6/14/13 by Anna in Fayettville.. Every time I get my hair done I always have to tweak and that can be annoying after you have paid a considerable amount of money to get it done for a professional stylist. I used to go to SOB for tree braids for years before I moved from ATL. Last visit was in 2016. They were always my go to, because they provided quick, professional, efficient service. They never switched up the prices on me at the last minute. No games & no drama which is rare for MOST ATL salons. I wish they had a location in NY, NC or FL.

I have been coming to Strands of Beauty for almost 3 years and I love it !! I recently went through some rough times in my life and the staff at the Fayettville Location along with Mrs Ethena herself Blessed me beyond words that day. I really felt renewed and Beautiful. This was the most amazinnnggggah!!!!!! Experience EVERRRR!!!! Ms. Ethena and Taneisa and Tashawn was very pleasant, welcoming, and results-oriented. You guys are the best. I have already made my next appointment. I drive 5 hours to ATL and it was well worth it.

The ladies at the Hilderbrand location are awesome. They did a great job to make sure that I received exactly what I wanted.
