Yuka Sushi Bar

The interior atmosphere is gorgeous and makes you feel like you're dining at a michelin star restaurant, but the prices are surprisingly not too expensive! The salmon and amaebi were the freshest I have ever had in my lifetime, and the tamago came torched and super warm and delicious as well! There's also free parking for two hours in a nearby parking garage. This is literally my only review I have ever written but this place totally deserved it. Thank you so much for the amazing dinner experience!!

We came here last night to celebrate a promotion and everything was delicious! We ordered quite a good amount: two appetizers, one entree, four rolls and a bottle of sake. The rolls came in a set of 8 per roll so it was a lot! Perfect for a family of 4. We had Vanesha as our server and she was so kind and helpful, truly a joy. The restaurant is beautiful and it’s not too loud either. Perfect for parties, date nights, anything really. 10/10 would recommend!

Our first dining experience here. We felt like we were eating in a cherry blossom garden. Fresh fish and flavor combinations we haven’t seen before. Lots of choices, beautifully plated. Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff is very attentive and nice. Can’t believe this gem has been in the middle of Sandy Springs for several years and we just found it. They also have a large outdoor patio that we will try on our next visit, soon.

My go-to sushi place!! Everything is so delicious and fresh (our faves are the energy roll, samurai roll, and calamari tempura roll)!! Staff is always so nice and also has nice outside patio area, as well as a cool (fake) cherry tree in the middle of the inside which is so cool! Whenever I’m craving sushi this is where I go!!!

I must say I've found my new sushi spot. This place is awsome the service is great. The atmosphere makes you feel as if you've traveled to another Japan. The most important thing the sushi is absolutely amazing. Extremely fresh, thick cuts and a vast variety. Not to mention the great selection of Sake. Definitely worth every dollar spent. We most definitely will be returning. 😁😁

Everything I ate here was amazing! I’m going to be a regular. Everything was flavored beautifully! The sauce with a Sushido peppers was so delicious I was licking the plate. I actually just ordered another serving of Shishido peppers and got some vegetable fried rice. I also had a side of miso soup.

I live nearby and always come here for lunch alone or with a few friends. Its always great service. The staff is super kind and accommodating, and most notable the food is great! Everything on the menu is affordable, and the quality and presentation is outstanding. The drinks are also great! Usually quiet and relaxing in here, so definitely a good place to work, talk, or even just to have some peace of mind. I always wonder why this place is never packed in because I love it here! Thank you Yuka! I am never disappointed. See you next time!

We've been going here for the past 2 years and we really like it. They offer a good variety of options, their rolls are yummy and fresh. 100% recommended. The best part is their servers, they’re simply the sweetest and most caring people, especially EMILY. We visit at least twice a week, lol no kidding.

I'd wish I had taken pictures of the food AND the decor this place!!! Everything is quite amazing. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The cherry blossoms set the tone for an amazing even. I will definitely be back again

One of my favorite sushi restaurants! The rolls are always very fresh, well prepared, and delicious! Friendly staff and good cocktails are a plus, too. You can't go wrong here whether it's dine in, take out, or delivery!

The sushi here is good quality for sure. There are lots of options, including cucumber rolls, nigiri and rolls too. They have lots of saki but I'm not a saki fan so I can't comment on that. It was July 4th so it was a slow day, bit they took great care of us and we will be back!

Update: This is not the same place that the review is about. They had a change in ownership and it’s not the same anymore (used to be District M...and Chef Chang doesn’t work here anymore)

This is now easily my favorite sushi restaurant in Atlanta....Chef Jackie Chang does a fantastic job and is usually in the center of everything when you sit at the sushi bar.

I recommend choosing Omakase and let Chef Chang impress you with his both his artistic and excellent selection

District M is located on Roswell Road and they offer complimentary valet.

I had the opportunity to dine here on a Wednesday. Our reservation was for 5:45pm. The restaurant was empty when we arrived.

Minnie introduced herself as our server. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and the sake selection. She offered us sake tasting before we purchased a bottle.

For our meal was fantastic! It was a lovely presentation!

Amazing meals for my wife and I. First time here and can’t believe we haven’t tried it before. Atmosphere very trendy and modern, our drinks were top notch and professional, our miso soup the best I’ve had, my chicken Teriyaki came with the soup and awesome salad and the main meal amazing, perfectly cooked and mixed with great veggies and rice. My wife’s crab roll was the best, super tasty and presented well. Prices very good and staff professional and friendly. We sat at the kitchen bar and watched the meals made. Thank you!

Fantastic dinner spot in downtown Sandy Springs. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. Service was top notch. It's nice not having to go into Buckhead for a 5 star sushi restaurant. One thing is that the valet is on the street so it feels like you are blocking the road. Don't rush, you can't park at the other restaurant.

Delicious and so much food. I love some Wasabi, and their's was great. Service was a little slow, but I got the feeling they were short staffed this day. Service was very friendly. I will be back.

We love the atmosphere and ambience at Yuka Sushi Bar. The Manager, Bernard is an awesome guy. He is very friendly and attentive to our needs. He gave us a recommendation on delicious lychee saketini and 10year old Japanese whiskey (forgot the name).
Chef Daniel made us a delicious ceviche tuna/Toro/yellowtail and fresh cut sashimi.

I highly recommend to sit at the bar and converse with Bernard if possible. He ll make your day better

Me and my friend Marco tried this place since we heard the owner was a well known chef. We tried a variety of dishes and we like ALL of them. I’ve tried a handful of high class sushi places and this would be one of my favorites. Boss man was generous and treated us to some extra sushi and dessert. Fish was fresh and tasty. Sushi rolls were harmonious in taste and looks - each ingredient blended well together with no overpowering taste. My favorite was the one with squid ink - Roku. Dessert was da bomb especially the Green Tea Panna Cotta. Another pro is that the servers/manager/waitress were all pretty. Damn good place 👍

Since 12/8/19 District M changed owners. A few things changed but I will only mention the important ones. Food is still good, but service and cleanliness were not as good as last time. I brought another friend here to try the food and introduce him to the girls but unfortunately it seems all the front of house staff were changed..
