Holiday Inn Express & Suites Raceland - Highway 90, an IHG Hotel

We arrived late in the eve on December 23rd. The front desk representative was welcoming and cheerful, making us comfortable after a long trip. The morning breakfast had a lot of choices for everyone’s needs and the area was clean and happy. You can tell that staff are happy and like what they do. They were all kind and full of great hospitality.

We stayed here to break up our drive to Grand Isle and I’m so glad we did! I typically don’t stay in hotels because I have high standards when it comes to cleanliness. The reviews for the hotel were so good that I decided to give it a try. The first impression started in the lobby. It was so clean and the front desk was very hospitable. Our room was on the first floor and looked brand new. Everything was clean and spacious. The next morning, we went down to get complimentary breakfast and we’re very pleased. Some of the best biscuits I’ve had! And the sweet lady at the front told us to bring the rest with us because breakfast was almost over. As we were getting ready to leave I realized I forgot my toothbrush but that wasn’t a problem because the front desk had a complimentary one. Whether you’re looking for a place to stay and let your kids swim or just for a place to rest your head, Holiday Express IHG is the one to choose.

My room was upgraded for no extra charge and the room is huge it's amazing. The women at the front desk are very nice and professional and I would 100% recommend this hotel to everyone.
The owner of this hotel should be proud to say it's there's. Might want to give the woman at the front desk a raise for being able to handle the customers nowadays! ! !

Rooms are clean, staff helpful, good breakfast, good coffee.

As of Oct 2023 they are renovating parts of the hotel. It is still a nice stay and rather enjoyable.

Was very clean and the staff were so friendly and helpful

I had a king suite. It was very clean and I was able to get extra pillows and a 2nd blanket. Breakfast was delicious! They have scrambled eggs and sometimes omelets. Loved watching my pancakes get made. I even got free bottles of water. The staff was always courteous and quick. Great stay!

This is the hotel you want to book your stay. The staff were all excellent especially Ashonti at the front desk. She was very professional as well as exceptional with making my stay even more inviting. This hotel and staff gets a five star ratings.

We visited the Holiday Inn Express Raceland with my sister this past weekend and had such a great time. Clean rooms! Dove body wash in walk-in shower. The manager Ashonti was personable and always asked us how our stay was going . She even cooked breakfast on our last day. The biscuits and eggs were delicious! At checkout the new agent Ashley needed help she went to ask Ashonti to assist her. The manager came and asked if everything was ok we needed a copy of our receipt. Ashonti asked Ashley to pull out the 102 receipts the young lady had a very poor attitude for no reason. While my husband load the car I waited and couldn't help but hear the conversation between the two. Ashonti tired to example that our receipt was already printed out placed at the front office. Ashley showed no signs of caring and had a bad attitude toward her manager. We waited 10 minutes just so the manager can show her the receipt was setting at the front desk the whole time..I'm a business owner and would hire Ashonti in a heartbeat. She remain calm and professional the entire time. I have no tolerance for ignorance.

They have treated me with the upmost respect and the best thing they treated me like family. We been here for over 70 days so for. Our home burned down and now our insurance company has gone bankrupt so things are bad but the bright spot is that the staff has helped us out in all aspects of our journey. Especially with our 4 year old Miss Serenity Claire. She believe this is our new home as of right now and thats how they made her feel and that has helped more then you can imagine. Thanks to all who work at the Raceland Holiday Inn Express for everything they have done to help us in our time of need, God Bless each and everyone of yall. We would not have made it this far without yall

Outstanding service! We arrive at the hotel a little after midnight due to a late baseball tournament. The lady at the front desk greeted us with such joy at 12 am in morning !!!!
She told us about breakfast hours and wished us goodnight.

The staff was very friendly and quick to tend to our needs. The room was not only stylish, but very clean. It was really quiet there! Breakfast was wonderful! I would not only recommend this hotel to a friend, i would stay here again.

Evacuated here for Hurricane Delta, had issues with cooling in my suite, Front desk clerk Fred was kind enough to switch me to a different suite. He also helped me with HDMI input setup and late check out when my power was restored. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

If your traveling with small breed dogs there's Small Paws Bed and Biscuit Dog Boarding in Raceland. About 1 mile from hotel. Charge is $20 per day.

The only corporate owned hotel in Raceland. This establishment is very clean and the staff are very friendly. The only things it lacks are an onsite ATM and guest laundry service. Food, casino and Walmart all in walking distance.

It's small but really nice and clean. Helpful staff. Actual good hotel food for breakfast. Overall I definitely enjoyed my stay there.

Quiet and clean rooms, friendly staff. Currently serving breakfast with covid restrictions, meaning you will be served instead of buffet style. Gym is currently closed

Very clean and friendly staff. Seemed rather new. Breakfast was good, and they had free bottles of water by front desk 24hr a day!

The hotel was excellent, nice and clean, staff very friendly and willing to assist immediately. The breakfast was outstanding. We will return.
