Ochsner Family Doctor Clinic - Mathews

The staff in the front office is very courteous and professional. The nurse Ms.Peggy was very friendly and I did not really notice when she gave me the vaccine. The facility is very clean and one of the better medical treatment facilities in the area. Definitely recommend this place for getting vaccinated if you need or decide to get vaccinated.

I never went to a doctor visit and felt this is the person I feel comfortable with making chooses about my health and still not understanding fully why he choose those diagnoses for me.That was until I went to Oschner Family Clinic I got good advice about my health even though I didn’t have insurance they took time to tell me different options I had even helped find discounts for self pay prescriptions. I was very impressed with the staffs friendliness very helpful. I trust My health in their hands.

Very Friendly Staff and Dr. Duplantis was very informative and took his time listening and caring for patient. Never felt rushed through the appointment. And in today’s world a Dr that has a great “bedside” manner where you feel genuinely cared and concerned for is a very rare thing.

The nurses and Dr Duplantis give excellent care and advice to us. Not in a rush to move on to the next patient. They sit and answer our questions and address our concerns. I feel they are very compassionate and show genuine concern for their patients.

I just moved here from California. I needed to find a Doctor to manage my prescriptions and my health. I was very pleased with the entire team of the clinic. Dr Bacon was great. He took all the time I needed for all my questions and care. I didn't feel rushed like in most doctor offices. I got the feeling he really cared about my concerns. I am very pleased I found my new doctor on my very first visit. I highly recommend Dr. Bacon to anyone. He is very thorough and compassionate. I couldn't find a better Doctor and office to have as my physician.

Dr. Jack is fantastic. He is attentive and thorough each visit. Very friendly as well. I have rarely ever had to wait more than 15-20 minutes before I see him. That in itself is a major plus. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Megan Hartman is my doctor. A very awesome one I must say. She listens to what you have to say and then takes the time to explain things so you can understand them. That is exactly what I look for in a doctor not just someone who is in it for the money. Staff is very courteous and does there best to make you feel comfortable.

I loved the ease of the whole experience of getting my vaccine. It was so well organized. We were in and out with hardly any wait time. The staff were friendly and very helpful when it came to my fears of the vaccine.

Dr. Duplantis is our family Doctor. He and his staff (esp nurse Laura & Eric) are always very professional yet maintain a down to earth caring & personal atmosphere. Short waiting time for appointments and quick referrals when needed. If an earlier appointment is needed than listed online, Nurse Laura always tells me to call her. So happy and confident will the level of care received for our family over the last 10 years.

I am very satisfied with our Ochsner Family Dr. Clinic here in Raceland, LA. Anytime I've ever needed them they were there for me,even a few days after hurricane Ida hit. They managed to get up and running to see their patient's. I was dehydrated but my Dr. Dr. Jack was concerned it was carbon monoxide poisoning with the generator running in my yard. A good IV and I felt much better.. Call today for your appointment, you'll be glad you did.

My physician honestly CARES about me, LISTENS to what I have to say, UNDERSTANDS my concerns, TAKES TIME with me so that I get the BEST care available, and is PROACTIVE in both treating my current health problems and preventing future ones. Everyone from the reception staff to the nurses to the lab technicians are courteous, respectful, professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I get better care here than I have ever had with any doctor at any other clinic.

My husband and I appreciate the wonderful job these sweet nurses are doing. They were well prepared, made getting the vaccine so easy! We were treated with kindness! These nurses are awesome!

Always polite, caring, recommends other options based on my needs, listens very well to your issues, makes you feel comfortable knowing everything is confidential and private, gives references to other doctors or medical practices based on your needs.
Doc Bacon is a very caring soul. I really appreciate him taking the time to listen to me and everything I deal with. I can honestly say I have issues but he has helped me so much just within this past month. I really recommend talking with him if your struggling. I know things get hard sometimes and some of us deal with demon/issues/problems or whatever you want to label them it happens. It’s okay to reach out for help save your own life don’t fight alone. Let them be there, also at least everything is private. Y’all stay safe out there and watch out for yourselves and people. Be a we truly never know who’s struggling behind a smile. I believe in you.

Dr. Jack is a very caring doctor, he cares about patients. The staff is extremely friendly and make you feel at ease when you have an appointment. I would recommend this group of doctors as they are all very good and very pleasant and make you feel as if you matter

Vaccine administration was so well organized! No pre wait, complete social distancing, all my fears were unwarranted. My husband's experience was similar, but being in greater NOLA, he had a short wait. I enjoyed my drive through the bayou, so if your able and have transportation, chose a rural option!

I am always treated with the utmost respect and dignity in this clinic. The nurse Mrs Pat is always so friendly and Dr. Jack always listens to all I have to say. I would not want to go to another clinic!

This is my 1st COVID-19 vaccination. I was able to stay in my vehicle to check in and receive the
Injection. I thought it would hurt but it did not I have had blood test that hurt . My upper arm is
a little sore, I have full range of motion. Ochsner’s at St.Anne’s in Matthews did a good job with me. The personnel were courteous and helpful.

Brought my 16 year old son in for a follow up after he was admitted to Ochsner on Jefferson Hwy. Dr. Duplantis took the time to listen to our concerns, answering all of our questions and really spoke to my son one on one. I believe this allowed my son to feel like he actually had a say in the decisions we all made, which was extremely important. The doctor took the time to really engage and educate my son.

Staff is friendly, courteous, and cares about their patients. The doctors and NP's are all excellent and seem to truly care about patient care.

I absolutely love Dr. Megan Hartman! She is so easy to talk too and she listens and understand her patients and really care about us. Thank you Dr. Hartman!
