Stephen Banton, partner with Quinn & Banton, completed a trust for my family a couple of years ago as well as for my mom. We have a special needs child, which spurred us on to do it. The thing to keep in mind is that when your loved ones die, they can leave behind a lot of complex scenarios that are a breeding ground for family disputes and drama. Further, if an estate gets bogged down in probate, attorney fees can escalate in the thousands, not to mention that settling money issues is drastically delayed. I figured why not pay a minimal fee to get all of this settled now to prevent potential hassles and a lot more expenditures further down the road. This just makes good business sense. I would never recommend Steve Banton to anyone. This guy couldn’t remember if his house was on fire. I paid him $800 to start a business for me in February 2021 and it is now October and I still have no business. He put himself down as a organizer for my business which wouldn’t allow for me to start an account for it. I made Steve aware of this and then he tries to convince me that I need letter of organization. There’s only two people that are owners of this business my wife and myself. That’s another $1000 by the way and no one ever answers the phone.

I hired him to help me cash out some stocks after my mother died almost 5 years ago. He has been dragging his feet for five years. He was supposed to update court with a statement of account almost 3 years ago and it still hasn't been done. If this is not done in next month I will will be revoked as personal representative of my mom's estate and have to start over from scratch. This will cost much more money and time. I would not recommend him

Not sure how he managed to pass the bar exam. It must have been a miracle.
