This place is fantastic!! If you love real sushi here is a good restaurant. Everything is great; food, service, environment and good sake!!

Lovely place with delicious sushi! I am a salmon lover, so I had salmon nigiri, double salmon roll and salmon ceviche! The service was so quick that I ordered and the food came right out like magic! My server was amazing and very helpful. The plant arrangements outside were beautiful, love when there is cute setting. The regular water wasn’t tasting good, so I ordered bottled water, but DC restaurant water is never good, so no surprise there. Ten sisters Sauvignon Blank was a great addition to my sushi. Come visit! Lovely place and great food!

Fantastic experience! A modern looking restaurant with traditional Japanese dishes and a modern twist on classical specialties! The lobster, scallop with zesty creamy sauce and freshly sautéed veggies was phenomenal, and the sashimi was beautifully presented and super fresh!! I recommend this place 100%!!

i wish chevy chase was closer because i really love the food here. we ordered the last lobster they had and the chef would not serve it due to the quality not meeting his standards—integrity at its finest! everything tastes so fresh and clean. one of my favorites for sure! Definitely recommend.

Solid 5 stars. Food, service, prices we will definitely come back. The ice cream is also unique and a great finish to dinner. Bento box dinner was almost to much food if that's a thing at s sushi place. Pork buns are a must!

Good food, fast and good service (we were a little pressed for time and were in&out in 45 minutes).
We had the restaurant week tasting menu and nothing disappointed. The seaweed salad and fried eggplants were particularly tasty.

I have only ever had the sushi and I can attest that it’s incredible. You really can taste that it’s produced with exquisite care. However, with that high quality comes a high price. Is it good value for money? Everyone is going to need to answer that question for themselves. For me, it’s a once in a while treat and certainly on a short list of places that I would definitely come for a special night.

We are frequent consumers, and have enjoyed every dish we have eaten. The fish is fresh and some of the wait staff have excellent recommendations. Some dishes are better eaten at the restaurant and don’t do well taken out such as the tempura and some of the raw fish appetizers (mostly cause the plating is such a part of the experience). The rolls can be really small for the price but we don’t often order the rolls

Had my 1st visit on Saturday and will say I will definitely be back! The hostess and Peter were very welcoming and made sure the birthday girl and I had the best experience. The Lychee Martini are soooooo delicious! The food was tasty (ESPECIALLY the brussel sprouts). I cannot wait to visit again and look forward to the lychee martinis!! Thank you again ;)

We found Sushiko on Google Maps and decided this fits our goal of dining locally. The sushi and sashimi was some of the best we’ve ever had. They presentation was appealing and each taste of sushi was slightly different taste and textures.
Hamachi Crudo ! How can something with so simple with few ingredients taste so good?

Great environment, service, and food! I was here for Happy hour (5:30pm-7:30pm every day) and then moved from the bar to the actual dinning area available inside or outside. Good prices for the good quality you get. Will be a frequent customer from now on!

Buttery fatty tuna 🍣, best Make sashimi I’ve had in Maryland. Highly recommend the sashimi or Nigiri scallops.

I have always passed by this restaurant, but only just visited for the first time this weekend with some friends. We were NOT expecting the high level of service we received - every single staff member (not just our specific server) was incredibly friendly and attentive. There was a packed house and we still received our food so quickly (within 3-4 mins of ordering each time) and were constantly checked up on by other staff as well, who were happy to bring us extra plates, cutlery, and glasses as needed. Happy hour food, drinks, and prices were great - unique selection of sushi as well as classic appetizers like fried calamari, Brussel sprouts, pork buns. Beautiful plating and exceptional drinks like the lychee martini, ginger Champagne, and the lounge lemonade. We had the absolute pleasure of having a server named Shayna - she was so friendly, funny, and had great recommendations for the food drinks and best seating locations. At the end of the evening, the manager came out to talk to our table and ask us where we were from and how we decided to visit. Truly an exceptionally special experience which made us realize it's been a long time since we've had service like this at any restaurant in the DMV area. Both the food and the service were equally spectacular and we will be back many more times! If you haven't been before, you must go!

I was in Sushiko recently. The food is simply amazing; they are in another level of sushi compared with similar restaurants in town. Please order “Element” sushi roll; it’s superb!

Sushi is great. No complaints 50$ for 2 people

Definitely a level above your average sushi restaurant. The variety of fish is more than one would typically see at a neighborhood sushi place. The omakase offers a nice variety and is not outrageously priced. The sake selection is also good.

Best Chirashi I've had with fresh wasabi, just filling enough and fish were prepared perfectly.
