Magruders was a great experience! Sandwich is great, they have a lot of food options and it’s fresh. They also have a wide selection of spirits!!!!

Staff is nice, educated and knows their products. Prices are affordable as well

Great place for your beer wine and spirits, selections, costs, employee knowledge and service. Our replacement for the closing of Paul's on Wisconsin Ave with far more choices..check them out and cheers!!

Fun beer/wine/liquor tasting events and incredibly affordable prices! Some DC stores raise their liquor prices through the roof, but Magruder's keeps it in check for the local community and it's customers. Highly recommend a stop by Magruder's if you're in the neighborhood!

Great customer service! I thought that great customer service went away like handwritten letters! But much like with a handwritten letter, when you get it you appreciate it even more! I was looking for a product, the person on the phone, I think they said their name was Key was friendly, patient and while they didn't have it in the store said he would reach out to their rep and get back to me when they could get it. That was Thursday afternoon, he called me back Friday with the product in hand!I've heard that from other places that I'm still waiting for the call. I was out of town and couldn't get back till Monday. They held it at the store for me, and when I got to the store they person on the phone wasn't there, but the staff knew to look for me to get the product and had it waiting for me!

This isn't a close by shop, but I will definitely come back because service like that is worth the trip! Also, they had some great wines and groceries that I haven't found in other places!

Considering how small the footprint is of this place, they have a respectable selection of wines, Spirits, even Foods. Parking is a bit tight so make sure you bring in small vehicles I have a lot of patience as many of the Shoppers are older. The staff is exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable as well.

Magruder's has some of the best beer and wine prices in DC-Chevy Chase area. Produce is decent too, although the selection is small. Their deli is awesome. Pretty good sandwiches. They also (depending on the season) have very nice outdoor flowers fairly priced. The parking lot is strange. I still can't figure it out.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Probably the best price on produce AND alcohol within the city limits. Great little deli- the sandwiches have a ridiculous amount of meat in them. Whether you need a pint or a handle. Or a nice selection of apples and leafy greens for cheap- definitely check it out.

Parking lot can be a little conjested and tricky; plan your time accordingly

Great independent grocery store. One section has a awesome wine selection with excellent sale prices, also good cheeses. Next door, separate cash registers, you find reasonably priced fruits, vegetables and misc surprises.

I shop here for my fresh produce. They have great sale prices and a nice selection for the size of the store. I have purchased onions, ginger, broccoli, string beans, Brussel sprouts, red, yellow, orange, and green peppers, celery, carrots, kale and collards greens, lemons, limes, kiwi, oranges, bananas, grapefruits, and fresh herbs. They also carry a selection nuts and trail mix. The only down side is that they don't stay open til 9:00 pm! They also carry fresh flowers. They also carry other food items.

Magruder's is a great little grocery store with a broad and well chosen bourbon and rye whiskey selection. One of the only places in DC to find Willett and other smaller distillery Bardstown Kentucky bourbon. They've got parking behind the store. You can go to their website to see what they've got in stock.

Magruder's is a great fresh market. They have great produce and a nice selection of fancy oils and vinegars and other condiments. I am not even counting the adjoining full spirit and wine store. They have an impressive selection and offer cheeses and other deli selections. The staff on both sides are friendly and helpful.

It is so great to see that they've kept at least one location still open with nothing but the finest gourmet groceries and very reasonable produce at great quality. I grew up shopping at all the Magruder's locations with my family over the years and it was very sad to see all of those locations permanently closed in the past few years. As I said I'm very grateful that this location is still open and better than I can ever remember.

Great selection of beer, liquor and wine. All are priced competitively. And if like me shopping makes you hungry, just hit the deli counter for a made to order sandwich! Truly a one stop shop
