Rodman's

In this international grocery store, it is possible to find products from around the globe. It's a small store, but it has a great variety of hard to find spices, tea, chocolate,cheese and great wine and bière from many countries.

Been hearing about this store for a while now. Decided to check it out. If you looking for some South African products. This is the place, they got quite a variety of South African products. Mostly Candy wish there was more food stuff. But we take what we can get. The biltong they have there is super amazing! Definitely a must buy. They have SA wine as well maar is Baie duur my kind, sooooo didn't get those. But will definitely be back. The stuff is a little on the expensive side soooo be prepared for that as well. But definitely worth getting the SA products 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

What can I say? Rodman’s is the best. I love all the international foods and wines. Wine guys are helpful. Great beer selection too. They now have liquor. I always come around the holidays to get specialty items from Italy and Germany but also enjoy seeing treats from all around the world. Great prices for the most part. Pretty decent cheese section. The ladies at checkout are nice but they talk to one another over the customers and aren’t super attentive. It’s not a huge problem but it sort of makes you feel less appreciated since you’re basically ignored. The downstairs is not to be missed. It’s like a Target and a neighborhood variety shop rolled into one tiny basement. Packed! Lots of medical supplies too, for whatever ails you. There’s even a little watch shop and pharmacy down there. It’s a great way to spend an hour browsing and getting all your shopping done. Rodmans please don’t ever close.

Very interesting store! I’d stopped by months ago, and noticed that downstairs had a highly rated watch repair area, everyone was very nice. After I had the batteries installed (only took about 15 minutes), I walked the rest of the store. Lots of items from other countries Also downstairs are small appliances, you name it, they probably have it! Will be going back again, this time when J have more time and emery to walk the entire store!!!

I often find myself spending hours here, because they have beer and wine tastings, one of the best selections of beer and wine in DC, as well as amazing selection of international foods that I've never seen anywhere else or even in the states. There are a lot of expats who shop here. Upstairs is a grocery store, and then you can take a strange elevator downstairs to another level that has housewares, some gifts, a jewelry and watch repair kiosk, a Pharmacy as well as tons of kitchenware and gadgets that you also can't find anywhere else. The store itself is not fancy, or particularly nice, but shopping there is always a unique and fun experience and it's one of my favorite places in DC. I always find a lot of food and home items I never knew I needed.

I recently discovered Rodman's and was blown away by the inventory of delightful treats from what seems like all over the world, as well as the selection of wines and generally high-quality groceries. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall Rodman's is a welcome small-business contrast to generic corporate-store vibe of this neighborhood.

Love Rodmans. Great neighborhood bodega/specialty grocery, especially if you are looking for hard to find international items. Excellent French wine selection, Belgian beers and chocolate. Fresh meat leaves a little to be desired but a gem in the neighborhood.

I went there because I was told by a pharmacist that they had more complete wound supplies than typical mass market pharmacies. I found them to be better. I then found them to have a lot of other items of interest to me as well albeit more expensive.

Great for specialty items, especially teas and biscuits. Nice little department store downstairs. Old school awesome pharmacy.

I go to Rodmans for those hard to find things whether it be specialty food or in the drugstore section. Also love kitchen supply section. Can also pick up regular things while I am there

I love this place. I can't figure out if it's a grocer, a five and dime or a liquor store. It's got a little bit of everything.

A reasonable selection of Eastern European and German produce. Quirky grocery store that’s definitely worth a visit!

One of my favorite stores for decades. Want some amazing Swiss, German, or Austrian cookies or chocolates? Belgian ale? Or the classic Hungarian Szeged sweet paprika in a tin? Go to Rodman's and have fun. It's a small international grocery store upstairs--including liquor, wine, beer, fresh produce, dairy, and some meats--and a mini department store down below! Also great is the staff, who are friendly and helpful.

Great establishment. Has nearly anything and everything that you would need for the home. Staff and management are top tier, and the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. Highly recommend a visit. It'll be worth it.
