Swannanoa's little hidden gem. This is the place that little old people meet for breakfast. It's not fancy, food is served on paper plates and you eat it with plasticware but the prices are cheap, staff are friendly and the food is good.

Great place to eat, staff was very friendly, locals were nice and the food was very good.
It also warmed my heart to see them take care of their local first responders. Was traveling through and glad we stopped.
Whether you are local or just traveling through, you should stop here and eat.

Every place needs a businesses like this in their community.

Country style breakfast. Tasty. A bit too country for me with paper plates, plastic utensils and Styrofoam cups at the table. To go, yes. Eat in, no.

Great food! My husband had breakfast and I had the Mushroom Swiss burger. Yum! He loves breakfast and would prefer to eat it every day and he thought it was great. Good coffee. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Reasonable price. Eat here when you are staying in Asheville. I wish this place was closer to home.

This place is awesome. Best omelet and pancakes! The unpretentious location and decor belie the terrific food and excellent service. We'll be back again and again.

I love this place, one of the beat little local non hipster, trendy joints. Local people, without all the fluff, filler, and hipster feel. May they be around for another 20 years, at least.

Stopped in on our way back to Charlotte and they were packed. Told us it would be a wait for food and that was true but man it was totally worth it. Great food and super friendly staff. 100% worth a visit!

Camping on a rainy weekend in Swannanoa and HAD to have a good hearty breakfast…THIS was the perfect spot! Britt was an amazing server…very welcoming! Felt like we were going to eat Sunday breakfast at granny’s house!❤

A great find out in Swannanoa. Spent the night at a retreat and didn't want to cook breakfast. We found the Breakfast Shoppe from a quick "breakfast near me" Google search and we loved it. Friendly staff, great food and you can tell it's frequented by locals and loyal costumers.

I’ve eaten here many times in the past 5 months. The people are so very nice and family friendly. The food is tasty and does the trick for the comfort food cravings. I like the biscuits and gravy. The bacon is always tasty. The coffee is always hot. Go eat at the Breakfast Shoppe!

The staff is great and treats you like family. I had the southwestern hash browns, which were incredible and giant. My girlfriend had an omelet, which she described as fluffy and perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back to try more on the menu! Love this place!
