I went here today and got some lamb coconut curry. Along with some papadums. That was the best part. Along with their appetizers such as the pakoras. The curry is the best part. My favorite is all of their curries. But their drinks are golden as well. The owner goby here is really nice. He is very creative With his cooking. I'd come again. I'd recommend guy fieri to this place as well. These guys make good indian food.

Best Indian food I’ve ever had and that’s not an understatement. Their spice levels are also on point and I’ve been consistently coming back for more. Even my parents have joined in on the fun, this has been their top choice for Indian food every time they visit.

Absolutely amazing indian food. I’ve gotten delivery from here probably 10 times in the past year and finally tried dine in. The food was even better (though delivery is still VERY good)!

My personal favorites are the butter chicken curry and lamb biryani. Also absolutely must get the garlic naan.

Tons of parking and quick service. Definitely coming back.

This is the absolute BEST Indian restaurant in the area, hands down, no questions asked. My husband and I have started ordering from here on a weekly basis. We have really started to look forward to our Indian food nights at home. This restaurant is very homey and the staff are very kind.

The family loves coming here--both to dine in and take out. Wonderful service and atmoshere. Great, convenient location. Favorites include the delicious lamb biryani, garlic naan, daals . (Be aware, even 3/6 stars is insanely spicy. I stick to 2/6 and find it a pleasant burn in the mouth)

I have finally found it. An indian restaurant on the East Side that makes tangy savory lamb vindaloo as it should be. Other restaurants dont know how to make this dish because of its Portuguese origin, they usually give it too much sugar or use food coloring to give out the eye catching color of curry sauce, but this is not the case here at India Gate Restaurant. I had it to go, but the little interaction with the staff already made me feel good. He was friendly and polite. Also, compliments on the packing and the portion of the dish, not only was it well packed, the portion was bigger than other places.
I'm glad I made the choice to try a new restaurant today after times of disappointment.

The food was outstanding, and the level of spice/heat was just what I wanted. The flavor was exceptional. I took my 14-year old son here, and he wants to make this a tradition. That’s a good sign from a tough food critic. I will definitely be back again.

My favorite Indian restaurant in the Bellevue/Issaquah area! The people who work here are always friendly and the food comes out timely, delicious and fresh each time. Sometimes when I order online, and ask for Mild, it still comes out too spicy but a part of me wonders what the restaurant can actually see on their side. When I call and order it’s not a problem. Give this place a try if you haven’t already!

Always the best food and service. Been coming here for over a dozen years. Fast, friendly and family owned. Great place to eat in the Eastside. Never disappoints.

Perfect spice, portions were generous and the facility is so clean! Mango lassi was one of the best I have ever had!

Great food! Big lamb chunks without fat on them.

You can ask for certain dishes to be made without cow milk. They will cook it the way you want if if you have allergies (like my dairy allergy).

Introduced by a friend, our family has been going to India Gate for many years. Never have had a bad meal from there. It’s been our go-to Indian comfort food during the pandemic.

Great balance of spices and flavor. Never too salty. Always delicious!

Our first time. We went for lunch. I was hoping for a buffet or Tali option, but they had neither.
We got the appetizer sampler, raita, garlic naan, butter chicken, and the Malai kofta.
Because I'm spice sensitive I got everything but the butter chicken as a one. My kid got the butter chicken at a 4 and absolutely loved the spice level.
The appetizer sampler is fantastic. A great selection to start with. Both chutneys are very tasty.
The raita is wonderful and very flavorful.
The kofta was delicious. The naan was good. My kid also hot a mango lassi and LOVED it.
The service was fast, efficient, and excellent!!!

I really like this place and mostly frequent it for lunch buffet. Of the several options in the area for Indian cuisine they win me over with the quality of their food and the consistency each time I go.

Loved the food. The lunch buffet isn't big, but I found it quite good. Better than having lots of stuff at low quality. Relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Got married nearby years ago and after all the wedding photos we were famished so we decided to stop in for a quick bite. We were quite a sight in a tux and wedding dress! They gave us a complimentary lunch for the wedding. We stop by to eat every now and then for good food and fond memories. Love this place.

We used to be regulars and take out at least once a week. They are always super friendly and the food is delicious. Portions are generous and prices are great!
We’ve had Indian cuisine in many different cities and countries across the globe. It’s not my all time favorite, but it’s definitely in the top 5 (hard to beat Boston or Chicago!). Now that we moved I’m missing this little gem terribly! Good Indian food is hard to find!

This place is amazing. My coworkers took me here a few years ago since it’s their favorite place to eat, and I’m so glad they did! The food is incredible, they pay attention to requests, and it’s always perfect. Lots of options, too, so there are new things to try. We’ve been ordering for takeout since the pandemic started, and it’s just as good.
