Hickory Tavern

Wanted to try the new refresh Hickory taven out. Was really good! Friendly staff, food was great. Plenty of tvs and entertainment. Overall great experience, will go again.

Justin was so very helpful making arrangements for our soccer team dinner of 50! We were seated in the bar area and everything was set up and ready for us, and the servers were on top of it! Wonderful night together! Thank you! See you next year, Hickory Tavern!

Updated my review to a 5. The build your own salad addition to the menu is incredible! Not sure how long it's been on the menu, but it is solid! Price is very reasonable and the quality of the ingredients is shockingly good. Their other menu options are great and food has been really good each time we've visited in recent memory.

We got seats right away on a Saturday night. The bar tender was nice actually was able to hold a conversation with us. Food was good the side salad is top notch.

Did call ahead for 6pm this afternoon for 10 people. When we arrived there was a mishap and someone had been sat at our table. The manager immediately apologized and accommodated us within five minutes. Our server was great but the kitchen had gotten backed up with to go orders and dine in orders. Once our food come out it was fresh and good. Then the manager came out and apologized for the wait and only charged us for 1 appetizer and 1 drink for the entire table of 10. That is service and we know sometimes places get swamped. The manager took care of us because we were patient and didn’t get hostile. We will go back if in the area!

Husband and I enjoy relaxing on the weekend at this restaurant. The salmon and broccoli, steak and brussel sprouts are delicious and we try a new cocktail every visit. We've not been disappointed.

Perfect pour and delivery on my Guinness, still churning when she brought it instead of letting it sit on the bar. Buffalo tacos were very tasty, sauce has decent kick to it. The only thing that could have been better was the amount of chips. Wait staff was amazing and checked in with me before, after delivery twice to make sure everything was good or if I needed another drink. Kudos Hickory Tavern.

Super delicious place to stop for lunch. I highly enjoyed the non alcoholic ginger mule, and our server was perfect and got our orders in quickly. Food was great quickly and our nachos were beyond delicious. Bit pricy, but worth it.

Great food and service. Great daily specials too which I appreciate. We'll be back.

I would like to say this place is a must go. The food taste amazing and the servers are really fast and nice. The manager was also super nice. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We've been going to Hickory Tavern in Mooresville for 15 years. This was our first time back in awhile and we went on music bingo night. It was busy but WOW, we had excellent service. Ask for Evan, he was awesome. Checked on us alot, ran around working his tail off but never let us down for extras we needed, more drinks. I'll ask for Evan next time I go for sure, new spot with a good waiter has been a long time coming. See ya next time.

Had the opportunity to have lunch in Mooresville today. As I was looking, found a Hickory Tavern that I'd not eaten at (at least not in a while). Dropped in and had my usual tenders and fries. Once again, perfect, and consistent with ever location I've been to. Thanks for another great lunch, and making sure we're safe with everyone I saw wearing masks and properly! Hand sanitizer was readily available, and social distancing was being observed. Thanks again!

We’ve been here a number of times and have enjoyed it every time. Everything we have tried on the menu was delicious and the service was outstanding.

Stopped in for a bite. Taylor was working bar area. Very Friendly, knowledgeable, courteous. She suggested a couple different items and a draft beer. Went with her recommendations. Chargrilled wings, dry rub, and a copper draft. Hit the spot. Good stuff, great service.

Finally good food and good price. Also good and friendly staff.

Amazing experience every time I come here! Mia C. is the absolute sweetest! She is incredible and always makes our experience enjoyable!! The outdoor seating space is a huge plus if you have a pup! Highly recommend coming here!

We ordered here for the first time through door dash. I ordered the chicken tender plate with fries, my husband ordered a burger and fries. The tenders were the absolute best. Everything was yummy. The only thing is, I paid 60 cents for ranch and didn’t get it but that’s ok. The quality and the portions of the food was great at well. Will order from here more often.
