Visited for the first time since the name change a while back. Entered at about 5pm on a Saturday to a neat full bar area with seating (more quiet dining room was empty). Had no clue what to get as the whole menu looked fabulous. I gave out waitress my choices I narrowed it down to and she suggested the Notorious P.I.G. burger. Wife got the Chicken Scratch. A short wait and our food was brought out to us and OMG the amount of food we got was unheard of in this day and age and the prices were great! Both sandwiches were cooked to perfection and probably the best I've had in a long time! How in the world someone came up with a burger that has beef patty, brisket, bacon, pimento cheese, onion rings on it I have no idea but it was absolutely fabulous! The chicken scratch had TWO chicken breasts on it! The sides were buffalo chips (worth it) and kettle chips all made in house I believe! Will will be back no doubt soon. I must hand it to our waitress also, I forget her name but she was fabulous and attentive!

JUMBO Wings did NOT disappoint! Best wings in the Mooresville area! The service was fast and friendly. Great atmosphere and a deceptively large restaurant area inside. Plenty of craft beer options, lots of local choices. Our bartender (Jennifer) makes a savory spicy bloody mary, too. We've lived here 3+ years and finally found a day where the traffic wasn't ridiculous to drive over. We're so glad we finally made it to Village Taphouse and will definitely be going back!

We returned yesterday for a meal. We were greeted at the door right away by a very friendly staff. He asked us if we wanted the bar or dining. The young gentleman said we could find our own seats as he followed us into the dining area. After we sat down he introduced the waitress who just came up behind him. She gave us menus and told us of the specials. She took our drink order came back with drinks to take our order. Food was great as usual. I had the grouper with rice. Waitress was great. It was not loud in the dining area like our usual "other" eatery on Friday night. We have not been here for about 7 months. All our many previous visits were all great. I would say we probably had 9 or 10 visits. It is about time for us to start coming back here more often as we go out almost every weekend. We have never been disappointed with the service or the food. One time the Chef came out to see us when we told the waitress we enjoyed the meal.

Awesome staff and food! Love the daily specials - especially the soup!! Seriously, this isn't your average bar food (the menu is as diverse as it is big) and we haven't had a meal we didn't devour. Happy to be a regular!

I had an awesome burger. The Brew Master is in the pictures. It's looks a little smashed from me trying to be able to eat it. Great onion rings. Wife had a huge plate of Chicken Nachos that were good as well. Quite a few Beer choices too. Servicecwas fast and good. Glad we stopped in.

First time customers, bar was busy and the wait staff was friendly. Our food was served piping hot and the draft beer was very cold. Really liked the number of TV with FB and Racing, but was not a fan of the high volume, just made it hard to chat. Overall, we will definitely be back. OMG the sweet potato waffle fries, no need for the dipping sauce, cooked to crispy perfection.

First visit and we were there for a late lunch. We had a coupon and wanted to try something new. I had the Philly cheesesteak with tots. Plenty of beef and cheese and delicious grilled onions. A boatload of Tater Tots and they were hot and very good. My wife had the Pasta Primavera. Very large portion with delicious veggies. The side salad was ample and very good as well. The service was excellent. Prompt and very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Great spot for a beer and a bite. Best bartenders/wait staff ever and the kitchen folks rock! Always friendly folks at the bar! Love this place, great food.

Food, atmosphere, staff awesome. Cajun chicken sandwich off the hook fantastic. Brisket was incredible. And great spot for live music. One of our go to favorite places.

I was greatly impressed with the hamburger. The spices were very good, and the portion of tater tots were astounding. Shorthanded, like the world is, so the service was somewhat slow and it was a bit dark inside. But the food was very good.

Ni e little bar and grill in the Harris teeter shopping area. Nice bar area , with outside area as well. Very nice selection of craft beer and a full bar. Food was good also. Very friendly staff.

It's been a slow progression over the last two years finding places to eat worthy of a good review. Not wanting Mexican or Italian, i did the ol google search and came across Village Taphouse. Seemed like the menu was diverse enough to entice Mr negative i.e. husband to give it a chance. Braving I-77 we arrived shortly after it opened. We didn't order much, wr never do. I just hate left overs. At the suggestion of our bartender, i ordered the rubeben with a side of onion rings and Mr conisour of wings, yes he holds many titles, ordered a few different flavors and ate half my Ruben and onion rings. Mister connoisseur, ordered barbecue and raspberry habanero. He loved the raspberry habanero. Clearly he also loved my Ruben and my onion rings. So did I. Love the onion rings so much that we ordered a to-go order of them.the rubber was very good and I'd order it again. After I sample a few more dishes in the near future. Ok the onion rings are $4.95 and you only get 4. Just order them!!!! They are worth every penny. Mind you. We did go for lunch just as they opened, so fresh grease. Cook not rushed etc...so they were perfect. Again, we don't eat alone, or order a lot, so for us to order take out after eating at a place. Says a whole bunch to us. Our bartender was great! Very helpful with making our selection with honest guidance. There is a tact for food selection help and she knows how to it. Ok enough said. I just hate that I don't recall our bartenders name. I think, Jennifet???? Sorry for any poor English or spelling. Phone had mind of its own most times.

We both a great lunch. I had their turkey on a croissant lunch special, which was delicious, and my hubby enjoyed their Philly Cheesesteak. Everything, including the sides and beer draft choices was very good. The server was pleasant and helpful. We would definitelydine there again.

My family and I come here on what’s now a regular basis. Food is phenomenal! everything I have tried I just love. They have a nice selection of beer and TVS you just can’t go wrong. The reason we keep coming back? CONSISTENCY! Every time we go it’s consistently good! Legend has it one of the best Bartenders/Servers to have ever lived works here.

Our waitress Toni was fantastic! Foos was delicious. Best black bean burger ever !

Visited recently with my wife and kids and it was a truly enjoyable experience. This was our first time visiting and we wanted to choose a local restaurant to support.

Upon our arrival we were greeted promptly by one of the managers, Zach. We engaged in a brief conversation about the menu and how it was our first time visiting the establishment.

Zach kindly recommended the burger and onion rings so we did that across the board for the whole family! Tasty burger, super fresh and seasoned well.

We also took up his advice on the brownie and it was great way to finish our meal.

Zach was a consummate professional and we genuinely enjoyed our experience, the food and the staff.

My son Christopher was especially thankful for the brownie recommendation lol.

Will be back 5/5!!

We had Village Taphouse cater the food for our annual work Thanksgiving employee luncheon. The food was FABULOUS, and the service was excellent! The employees kept talking about how good it was for days after, so when the decision for who caters the annual Family Christmas Dinner came up it was a no brainer. I reached out to Lisa and she took care of the rest. Highly recommend Village TapHouse just to stop in and eat or for any catering needs. FYI, our luncheon was for about 60 people, and the dinner was for about 160, and they had no problem handling it, and recommending amounts of food. Thanks again so much LISA!!!

Hands down some of the best food we have had in the 19 months that we have lived in NC. Fish Tacos were off the chart amazing!!! The sweet potato fries are to die for….EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

great wings and tap beer, very reasonably priced. Staff was very polite and attentive. customers all seemed at ease.
