I’ve lived in Mount Holly for over 10 years and have tried a few different nail shops. Nails by Helly is by far the best! They do walk inns and appointments, the shop is welcoming, clean and all of the staff do a good job! I also thoroughly enjoy the new massage chairs😉

Nails by Helly is a wonderful place! They are all kind and take their time and make sure you have exactly what you are wanting. I also took my 86 year old grandma with me who has had 2 strokes and they were so compassionate and sweet to her and gentle. They didn't try to rush or anything like that! I highly recommend this place to any and everyone!!! I have been going here for years and will never go anywhere else!!!

Very nice atmosphere, clean, and everyone did a wonderful job. My only complaint is the prices. I got a gel deluxe pedicure and a full set and paid nearly $200. $141 + a $30 tip because I believe 20% is well deserved when you get great service but lordy, that final price was a doozy. I’d love to make that a routine place I go to but unfortunately can’t.

Best nail salon I've ever been to. Helly has been doing my nails for 3 years and I've never been happier with my nails. My nails are healthy and they are strong. Relaxing pedicures and beautiful toes here as well.

Helly is the best! I drive an hour to see her! I love my nails every time and her salon is so clean and beautiful.

My experience with this salon has been nothing less than exceptional! The owner is always available for me, trying to accommodate my last minute need for my nails. Professional and caring. I was fortunate to have this salon as I was exhausted with the big commercial places that you give your business, but they don’t know your name and you see someone different each time. I am loyal to Helly’s in Mt.Holly because of the owner commitment and caring to satisfy her clients which I never found at other nail business. I have never gone anywhere else since I found Helly’s in Mt. Holly!

I want to make a reference to a review that Ashley Kenworth left for Helly’s salon several weeks ago. I was getting my nails done when this customer was also getting her nails done. I heard this customer request additional work on her nails and she was informed that it would be increase in price and she requested additional service. When this client was informed of the total she became loud, hostile, and questioned the pricing. The owner politely explained, but this client after having been informed of prices agreed to the terms and then rudely makes a scene for the whole nail salon to hear.
I want to make the acknowledgment that I witnessed this behavior and the attitude in Ms. Kenworth’s voice was rude and disrespectful. This client then calls back and requesting discount on next service is simply unacceptable. You don’t disrespect someone and then expect them to give you discount service, but Helly offered something despite the rudeness from this person. I think this is the type of person that nothing Helly would do could satisfy this client. I really hated seeing this situation, but yet I’m glad I did so I had the opportunity to give feedback to the negative review this customer wrote. Helly always tries hard to work with all her customers; she is fair, kind, and very honest. Helly did not deserve this negative review because it is not accurate to the what occurred.

Wonderful experience at Helly's as usual. Even when I've had to wait, it's never terribly long. Techs are friendly, and shop is well kept!

I received a gel manicure and a deluxe pedicure. I have been to Helly's numerous times and the service is always professional and kind. They do excellent work!

Very nice ladies and gentlemen working here. nice and clean nail salon. I had a pedicure with warming stones & manicure. I went simple because I do a lot of yard work, maintenance on lawn mower etc. I destroy my nails and hands and needed some TLC. and they took real good care of me made my hands look like a woman's hands again. Oh, I shared my birthday with one of the younger ladies. Happy birthday again Gemini! I really enjoyed it. Thank you

Excellent experience. SNS color change. Helly used the drill to remove top coat and some of the existing color, then individually wrapped the nails to remove the existing layers. She cleared the remainder gently with a nail file, then took her time to do an ombre with colors I chose. She again the the nail file to smooth & shape the nail. Ombre took a little longer than single color but I am very pleased with her attention to detail. Highly recommended!

Last night my husband watched the baby so I could go get my nails done. Being pretty new to the area and not familiar with good nail salons I went to the one I remembered​ seeing in Walmart. It must have been the night to do nails because it was 6:00 and they turned me away because they already had an 8 person wait. So I googled and called up a few other places, all were booked for the night. Then I called Helly's. She told me they closed at 7:00 and if I could get there in by 7:15 she'd still see me (It was 6:55 at this point). So I rushed on over and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the owner herself (I'm assuming her name was Helly, lol). She was more than gracious to stay late for me, even though I had 2 broken natural nails she had to repair on top of a new gelish color. We chatted the whole time and had a pleasant conversation. She didn't rush and my nails turned out beautifully. Their pricing was just a smidge over what I'm used to paying (cheap), but with her care and attention to detail plus her attitude towards customers I am forever going to be a loyal customer to her. Thank you so much Helly, I can't wait to come see you again!! And for everyone else, just go there! You will not be disappointed in her services!!

I needed a pedi at the last minute. Helly fit my friend and me in. Service was great! My nail color is perfect. My feet are smooth. She has regular nail polish and gel.

This will be my new spot! Extremely clean (99 rating if I recall) and friendly service (you can tell they care about their customers). Hao (sp) did a fabulous job - great details! Cons: they only have 2 drying chairs under the fans, and didn't provide a customary beverage. Absolutely would recommend! Better service than other larger salons.

I love this little salon and all of the women working there! I’ve been going once a month since I moved to Mount Holly and the service and quality are outstanding. Anyone who does my nails does a great job, truly caring about how my nails turn out. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and clean. Highly recommend!
