This is our new favorite spot! The food is great, and the vibes are awesome! Doug, our bartender, was the Best!

Always great food and service. Best fried chicken around. Always fresh prepared when you order. Fried fish and chicken parmigiana are two more of my favorites. Shucks everything they have is pretty darn good.

Ordered a 12 piece family meal with 2 large sides, and the cost and wait were both less than you would expect at a fast food chain. Home cooking style fried chicken, crispy and juicy with homemade baked mac and cheese. Delicious!

The food was delicious. Potato salad was great. Fish fried golden and hush puppies were just how I like them. I can't wait to try the other menu items.

I'm originally from Charlotte and have been eating at the chain for years, but never this location. By far this is the best one. You can eat in, the menu variety surpasses the others, the food is seasoned to perfection. Absolutely satisfied and impressed.

The Greek salad with Gyro meat was excellent I'll be back for another. It's like a soul food restaurant or grandma's home cooking. These are rare places to find that's actually good.

We ordered off the specials board and were pleasantly surprised at how much we got on our catfish plate and calabash shrimp and flounder plate.

Each came with hush puppies, and there seemed to be a small upcharge to sub other sides for fries and coleslaw, but worth it. We got green beans, okra and fried squash. The squash came in big thick pieces, crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside.

They've got a few small tables for 2 outside in front.

I was looking for the best fried chicken livers in the area. This chicken king currently is at the top. The amount of food, quality of the food and the taste are great.

Nice little family run hole in the wall with great food and friendly staff, been eating here for years and there's a reason I still return for more, Big thanks to all the staff that make this place so great!

Great food! You get a lot of food for a fair price. The chicken tenders are huge and the homemade onion rings are delicious. The chicken and dumplings look great so I will be back to try that

Food was very good and flavorful, Workers were also very nice and place was very clean. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back when we are in town again.

This is my all good to go restaurant. I haven't had everything on the menu but what I have had, I haven't been disappointed.

This place is great. Have had multiple items on the menu, and they are all fantastic. 30 yr old recipes, and you can definitely tell. I eat here a few times a month and highly recommend.

Let me tell ya what, this place makes sure you're not leaving hungry. The food is absolutely amazing, so make sure you're hungry when you come to eat.

Probably some of the best food I've ever had, and filling too. From what I've learned, if the building looks old and a little rough but the parking lot is full it's probably the best place in town!

My husband and myself have visited this restaurant several times & the food is wonderful and we will recommend that you go and try it b/c we will definitely be going back. Thank y'all for such awesome service and food.

The fried chicken is good, but not very good when compared to other fried chicken restaurants. The fried chicken is crispy and fresh. The okra is very good, the hush puppies is also very good.
