Food Lion

Another fantastic location for Food Lion. I love how all of them are very clean. Even the bathrooms. And everyone seems to enjoy their jobs. Always smiling

This is a good grocery store. Always a quick trip in and out, especially since they have 6 self checkout stills. They have a good selection of a lot of things and you can usually find your essentials here.

Consistent and great for all basics. Prices are the lowest. Hillsborough store on Hwy 70 and the store in town on S.Churton St (hwy86) are very well run and all the people are happy. More options : some prepared gourmet foods, vegan & vegetarian options for dinners - on Hwy 70E. The best Food Lion locally, other than Gov. Club location in Chatham.

Busy 2 days before Thanksgiving, but the 2 young men bagging my groceries and checking me out were in great spirits and very nice. I was even there about 5 at a busy time.

Always clean, and the staff is nice. Well stocked. Mgmt always has the store fresh and walkways organized.
This Food Lion, has the most complete "So called iced cream" selection - eh Smithers?! A lot of that staff is polite. Mngr. Lee Powell is great! A nice Chapel Hill guy!

Nice place to shop, friendly cashiers

This Food Lion is a good store and has been around for over 20 years that was the first time I shopped there. I still shop there when I visit the area. Employees are always courteous and professional. They had some missing items when I visited. Overall it is a good store needing some updates to the interior. Prices are always competitive for the area and the selection is good for basic needs.

This is one of two Food Lions located in a small town. This one seems smaller than the one on the north side, but is well organized. I found everything on my list and the the shelves where well stocked. The staff are very friendly and work hard to meet your needs.

Julie in the bakery is awesome! Staff was also helpful in saying what aisles things were on without having to hunt for them. Check out was speedy.

I love my local Food Lion! The store has a good layout and the staff is really kind. A good sense of southern hospitality. The manager Doug is awesome, really down-to-earth and helpful. Of course prices are good too.

I’ve been here a few times. I had a great experience with a lovely cashier here. I was 3 cents short of cash and she gave me 3 cents to pay for my stuff. Very nice person - I forget her name but she’s lovely. Very clean and nice people. Will be returning when with my dog on a walk :)

I was able to find everything I was looking for with ease. The last time I visited they were out of heavy whipping cream, but it was stocked this time.

Great Food Lion in the Hillsborough area, 1 of 2. Just like other food Lions, this one is no different. Plenty of variety, lot of stock, and had everything I needed during my visit. The fresh Produce section was expansive and had plenty of different items. This Food Lion was very clean, a bit older, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this Food Lion.

This is truly one of the friendliest grocery stores I have ever visited. Everyone seems happy to be working there. The cashiers are always pleasant and courteous. They practice customer service by inviting you to their line if there is a wait. The store is clean and they stand behind their products.

I always have a good experience from the staff at Food Lion! There are a few that always great me when they see me in the store and even ask how my family is if they aren't with me. Most of the employees really put forth effort to get to know you which is why I ALWAYS go to this Food Lion instead of other stores in the Hillsborough area. The store is also very clean and organized.

Everyone is just so pleasant at this store. We easily find help when needed and the employees are glad to help. Employees are so friendly many of them strike up conversations. The store is clean, with great produce and selection of groceries and everything is easy to find.

Despite being crowded, checkout was quick.

Great store, this is my local FoodLion that I go to several times a week. They have a really good meat department, it always tastes way better than other meat departments like Walmart. Usually have everything in stock and the people are friendly.

Awesome Food Lion best I've ever had the pleasure of shopping in. Best employees, loved it, highly recommended.
