After Covid property manager put property up for sale and wanted me to allow potential buyers in for showing without a mask. At this time Covid shots were only available to the elderly and those with health conditions. I refused to allow visitors without mask. Abruptly April 30 2021 I was given 30 days to move off the farm with 5 horses 6 chickens , 4 ducks, 2 cats 2 dogs and my farm equipment. I couldn’t move that fast and he proceeded to eviction. I never violated lease agreement nor had any company it was just me and the animals. me and my animals were displaced causing me to be homeless and my animals in a horrible situation. Upon renting this property in 2017 I was promised 8 to 10 years if needed rental term. Having a horse farm is a huge responsibility, so making sure we didn’t face anything like this I made sure long term was an option before signing a lease. It’s a shame what a disagreement over a mask will drive this property management to displace me and my farm animals especially right after Covid when finding a place to live is very hard. It is 2022 and I am still struggling to get me and my animals back together again. There are no words for someone who would do a tenant who kept up the property and made about 5,000$ in investment to fencing and built a riding arena. As I continue to push forward I wonder if they ever thought of what happened to me after this horrible situation. I have never experienced this with any landlord. The property also has high levels of radon gas. The house has mold leaks and bathrooms and showers that don’t work. Rat infestation in house and barn that was never corrected by properly by calling an exterminator. They promise to fix stuff and never do. Buyer beware renter beware.

Most deceitful person and property management company I have ever worked with. I was responsible for painting and cleaning the entire home before i moved in as Steve Knight stated "he didn't have time to do it". Upon cleaning, i noticed the place was infested with flees. Two bombings where required, the second of which, I needed to do it myself because Steve again "didn't have the time to get to it" and with my move in date the following day, I again was required to perform the duties that by LAW, the property manager should have been conducting. 3 months after move in, I am still waiting on a functioning electrical socket in the bathroom. Steve finally contacted me regarding and made an appointment for today at 10. He didn't come with an electrician, as previously discussed, he came with himself, his tool box and spent 40 minutes in the bathroom only to tell me he will need to contact the electrician, after i took time off of work, just to have him waste it. 3 months now, i still have large, dangerous limbs hanging over my power wires, dropping on my walk way to my car and are still not rectified. The worst of all, I contacted Steve about a deadly mold forming on the Kitchen ceiling. I asked him to have a professional come assess it and instead, against my pleading to not touch it, he carries in a ladder and a spray bottle. Over my kitchen table, my groceries, my breakfast, over myself, he sprays and wipes the mold. No respirator, no standard precautions and all while I'm getting over acute pneumonia. Horrible. No concern or care for my health whatsoever. Now bringing all these matters to an attorney to make sure that this POS isn't allowed to conduct business and lie to unsuspecting, innocent people, just looking for a safe place to lay their heads at night. Shameful really.

Renters beware! Slum lord properties, does the bare minimum, and rents homes not to code according to NC law. He is a liar and a complete crook
