Took a break from the slopes to grab a beer and appetizer. I cannot wait until my next ski trip to go back for dinner. The bar manager gets 5 stars and she really made our experience here phenomenal. We had the loaded nachos and she recommended a few beers based on what we normally drank. She also made a custom jalapeño margarita. MAKE SURE YOU REQUEST THIS DRINK!!! You will not be disappointed. This was her creation so make sure she's behind the bar when you order.

This place is an amazing gem in Boone! This was our first visit, and we already can't wait to come back! Our server Lindsey was so incredibly helpful with the menu and gluten free options, and made the whole experience great.

The jerk chicken tacos were loaded with both fillings and fantastic flavor, and the Marley burrito was like eating a big, warm hug. Both were incredibly filling, and neither my husband or I were able to finish our meals. The salsas are great as well, we had the mango pico, the cranberry chipotle, and the pineapple habanero and they were each wonderful.

To top it all off, all of their desserts are made fresh in house, and they're all gluten free for those with restrictions! We're taking home a slice of the raspberry pretzel, and the mixed berry with orange, and can't wait to taste them.

This is my first visit, but will defintely eill add to my stops when in the area.
Lindsay was great. She is as sweet as they come, very welcoming!! Especially sitting alone waiting on next appointment in Boone area.

The bar was clean, very refreshing watching her do her daily sidework, while still taking care of Guests at bar and bar tables.

What a great vibe!!

Being in the bar business ourselves it's a breath of fresh air seeing such pride in thr younger generation....

Definitely recommend a visit to this location.

Had a phenomenal dinner here on Thursday night. We had a very short wait and got a table on the patio.

The nachos and my cocktail were ridiculously good. I don't know that I'd call the wedge salad a wedge salad, but it was very fresh and tasty- loved the addition of pickled red onion.

We were so full when we left, I can't wait to come back again.

The food was great! For an appetizer, I ordered the chicken wings with the Jerk rub and my entree was the jerk chicken plate with coconut rice, beans, and fried plantains.
The food was delicious.

Our waitress was very attentive and provided excellent customer service.

The atmosphere was comfortable.

We will return to the restaurant the next time we are in the area!

Coyote Kitchen is a MUST TRY for Caribbean inspired food when visiting Boone, NC! My wife chooses the Barbados Bowl every time and loves it! I tried the Blackened Fried Chicken Sandwich with Bacon & Chipotle cream cheese and seasoned fries. Everything was SO savory and delicious. Until next time when we visit Boone!

I would recommend Coyote Kitchen, especially if you are looking for a restaurant that offers a variety of unique food and if you have any dietary restrictions. I am gluten-free, and I was actually overwhelmed by the options that they had available for that dietary restriction.
The food was delicious! I got the jerk chicken plate, which was a bit spicy for me, but yummy. I especially liked the coconut rice and the gluten-free cornbread. They had a large variety of desserts (that were also gluten-free) that looked amazing as well. I will definitely go back when I am in the area!

Great, amazing food!

We started with an order of fried plantains. Sweet, perfectly fried, and delicious!

I ordered the Sierra Madre bowl as my main course and couldn't have been happier! Nice variety of flavors that melded perfectly together! The shrimp was cooked to perfection, the chorizo and good compliment with a hint of spice, the coconut rice delicious!

Then there is the gluten free and vegan desserts! We got a cinnamon apple cake that was incredible! Perfect flavor, not overly sweet!

Overall, absolutely delicious experience!

My son was married in Boone and the bride and groom, being App State alumni, wanted Coyote Kitchen to cater the rehearsal dinner. I couldn't have asked for anything more from Warren who we dealt with from start to finish! He was awesome! He was so accommodating. Because every single one of us attending the wedding was from out of town, everything had to be done by phone and email. Warren met me at our event space (Courtyard Marriott) as soon as I arrived in town and we talked about where to set the food up. He set up all of the serving trays while we were busy setting the room up to be ready for our guests to arrive immediately after the rehearsal. He returned with the food, set it up, and had it warming while we were at the rehearsal. He even offered to run to the store or any other errand if I found I was missing something!!! He then came back and cleaned everything up when we were done. He was friendly and kind and made the stress of the day disappear. Thank you, Warren! You did a great job and I so appreciate you!

Amazing! We had the nachos and the Sanchez Burrito. Both were excellent. The nachos were probably the best I've ever had. The green crema salsa was perfect on the burrito. Our server was Victor, he did an excellent job, he was friendly and answered all of our questions, and made great suggestions. Definitely will return next time we're in town.

PSA: ask them for grilled tofu instead of fried, please. Fried makes the boats a bit dryer, thanks!

Lovely place, with the renovations finished it all looks very clean and spacious. Smells like brand new,

Always enjoy a meal here,

The Terracota boat is out of this world.

I wish the desserts weren't so dry:( but it's alright,

Think Chipotle with flair (and a hell of a beer selection.) Owned by one of Boone’s excellent local breweries, Lost Province, Coyote’s bowl and boat options are like Chipotle’s rice bowls with a myriad of options, a broad range of spiciness, and a diverse blend of sweet and/or savory ingredients. Although we didn’t have any, the chocolate cake offerings placed the kitchen on our list of places for a return visit.

We were visiting in town and decided to stop here for dinner. We ordered the chips n’ salsa sampler to start and queso, and for our meals both the Taos and the texicali boats, the spinach salad, the Marley burrito, and the catfish plate. Everything was very delicious!

We love visiting new places when we visit Boone and this place was amazing from the hostesses to the staff. We ordered many items based on our waitresses recommendation and we were not disappointed. Great portions, great value, great food! We will be back!

Me and my husband stopped here on our anniversary and the food was so amazing! The staff were super friendly as well. We both give it a ten! The menu had so much to choose from and the local based ingredients tasted great.
