Fresh Chef Kitchen

I dined at Fresh Chef for a late lunch and it was a nice experience. Service was nice and friendly. It was after the lunch rush was long over so it was calm and peaceful in the restaurant, which was really nice. I ordered the Cajun Alfredo Pasta with Blackened Chicken. It normally comes with sour cream and cherry tomatoes on it, which I chose to omit. It was delicious! The food came out pretty quickly. Half of it was plenty for a lunch portion, so I took the rest with me as leftovers. I will be back again.

I went there during lunch time, I can't give it a honest rating on atmosphere because it was slow on a Tuesday. The restaurant definitely has potential for good atmosphere. It is dark lid setting which could set the mood for a romantic date. The staff was nice. I had a peach cobbler dessert which was great. My dish was salmon, broccoli and rice

From out of town visiting friends in the area. Called to see if they had prime rib tonight (Sat) - they said Sunday only..." but let me ask the Chef ". Came back and said since it was 4 of us, they will make it just for us. Got there at 6, was on our table by 6:30. Awesome experience, great staff! Prime rib was perfect!!

This place was so good. The options were so varied and great. Everyone at the table cleaned their plate. I didn't even get a chance to take a picture, but the teriyaki steak and asparagus was perfect. Edge to edge medium rare cooked perfectly. And the teriyaki marinade was fantastic. The waiter had just the right amount of playfulness and snark. It was great.

Update! I went back again. I love this place. I DID grab a picture of the steak this time, swapped the fries for broccoli, so I could feel better about the delicious peach cobbler they had tonight. So good. I love this place.

Came here for a quick stop and to try something new! We were not disappointed the food was cooked well and it was fresh, dessert was amazing I had never had a key lime pie before today and it was a great experience! The environment is friendly comfortable. Even the bathroom was clean and smelled good!

I rarely write reviews, but I have to. Fresh Chef is and will remain on our ‘go to’ date night lists. Extremely consistent, great service, great food. We’ve been coming here since they opened several years ago. Staff is very friendly and attentive, and the meals are top-notch.

This is a great place to eat! The food is fantastic and they always provide excellent customer service. Great prices on the kids meals as well. We bring our family there often. We have some food allergies and they are always able to accommodate us. I highly recommend Fresh Chef!

Good food, just can get a little loud, but that is not too bad.

This place was amazing! Highly recommend! Especially on martini Monday’s! For some reason my mom and I kept thinking this was one of those healthy meal take a way places but instead it was an absolutely delicious sit down meal! And everyone on the staff was wonderful from our sever Liz, the manager Matt and the bartender Seth. The fries are some of the best ever and the menu was so extensive we can’t wait to try the rest! We ordered mushroom & artichoke soup, fries, chicken piccata & chicken Cesar and enjoyed every bit! Then for dessert the cheesecake and brownie were so good! And the prices for all this freshly prepared food were so good as well. Mondays are $6 martinis, tuesdays half price bottles of wine and rest of days the specials can be seen above the bar. The martinis were better than all inclusive resorts! We will for sure be back and anyone that lives in the Lake Norman area or are even visiting needs to visit ASAP!

Food wasgood and staff were nice. It wasn't too crowded mid-day on a Sunday. The Portobello Mushroom Sandwich was good. It was the first time having it and it tasted similar to a bean burger. Looked more charred than it tasted. Fries were nice and crispy. The strip and grits were good according to my wife. A little more oil than she'd like, but still good.

Great restaurant located in the Publix plaza on Brawley School lane.
The dishes in their menu are always well executed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The restaurant atmospere is clean and well lit. They offer take out service and phone orders. This location has plenty of parking and is easily spotted from the main road. Try the shrimp and grits, you will not regret it.

Holy Meatloaf! Was in town with friends and decided to give Fresh Chef a try. Lucky me, their daily special was meatloaf. Folks, I'm not normally the person who eats meatloaf for lunch, the wait staff really talked it up. 5 stars for the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. It's a must try. The wait staff was friendly and efficient.

Great spot...took me a minute to find inside the plaza...but quality meal and service. Very nice. We really enjoyed everything...Would definitely come again....we spent about $100

Great place! I had the burger and it hit the spot! The fries were the thin carnival type that you don’t find often. The best!

We were in for my finances' birthday. Quite a few of us. Large party! Everyone was wonderful from wait staff to the Manager Becca!
The food was outstanding! Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

This was our first time visiting here and I went off the Portobello mushroom sandwich review because that's what I was looking for. This place was a Gem!! Food was amazing!!! Appetizer for $5!!! Wow and it was delicious spinach artichoke dip and chips! Husband got the Black and Blu steak with Blue cheese, marinated mushrooms and onions, grilled asparagus with fries. I did get the Portobello mushroom sandwich came with Kale salad and fries. So fresh and tasty... kudos to the chef !! Key lime pie for dessert FINALLY someone knows how to make a good key lime pie! Service was EXCELLENT and the Teamwork Impressive! Prices were very reasonable wish I could give more stars we will definitely be back and also use the To go option since we live 45 mins away. Highly recommended!!

One of the few places where I've never been disappointed! Excellent food and fabulous service... especially these days when you're lucky to get a smile from some places. Would definitely recommend!! Worth the money.

If I could give this place better than a 5 star I would! Amazing service by Junior and Landon, amazing food, amazing atmosphere. This place is a must eat restaurant.

Wonderful salads 🥗 and great seafood plates as well. The service is fast and friendly, too.
