Jack Sommers, M.D.

Dr. Sommer and his staff always treat me with the care that I would expect from a member of my family. They are very complete with every appointment and I never feel like I'm just another customer at a retail store. The complications of my health have been very difficult and Dr. Sommers his been with me every step of the journey to living a very fulfilling life today!

They are so nice it's like your visiting family.
From check in to the DR they all talk to you not around you.
They are honest no matter the answer.
They do not make you feel like a number or chart they treat you with respect.
They helped me make it thru breast cancer surgery. Always asking how I am they really care and you can tell it.

I met with Dr. Sommers today and had a wonderful experience. Scheduling was a breeze and the receptionist was able to get me in very quickly to see him. The facility is clean and comfortable. The office workers were all very helpful and the nurse was friendly and comforting. Dr. Sommers was warm, compassionate, and caring. He took time, listened, and provided me with more solutions than I thought was possible for an initial visit. He went above and beyond my expectations and I really appreciate the care I received. I feel so much better already knowing that I have someone helping me manage multiple conditions. Thank you for helping me rest easier tonight.

Dr. Sommers is very knowledgeable and a very nice person. I feel very comfortable at all my office visits and trust his decisions and advice. I am very satisfied with him as my physician.

I started going to Dr. Sommers last year after my regular doctor retired. Dr. Sommers takes the time to assess my concerns and treat them accordingly. He is always friendly and takes time to explain things. His staff is also friendly and makes me feel welcome. I highly recommend Dr. Sommers.

Have only had one meet and greet with Dr. Sommers. But, just within the short amount of time, I was very impressed and felt like I was in good hands. He has been practicing for some time and is also very knowledgeable about pharmaceuticals. My father was a pharmacist. He spent as much time as I had questions and we also got to know each other and our families. One extra plus is that he is located very close to my home. His staff was very nice too. All-in-all a very good experience.

My experience with Dr. Sommers has been exceptional. He always finds a way to see you quickly, often the same day when you are experiencing a problem. He listens attentively, asks excellent questions so that he can fully understand your issues, and he collaborates with you on your plan of treatment. He responds very quickly to messages left in MyChart. I recommend him highly!

I arrived about 20 minutes early for my appointment. The receptionist was very nice. I took a seat after checking in. I was called back within a few minutes. The nurse that took my vitals was very nice also. I felt at ease. Soon Dr Sommers came into the room. He talked to me. He asked me questions about my symptoms. We talked together about several things. He told me about the ways he worked with patients. We made some plans, he referred me to specialist. I was very pleased with the visit. I am glad that I changed Drs. I really liked that he wanted my input. He explained things to me. I appreciated his patience with me. I will be back. He sent me to the lab. He had his nurse show me the way. The nurse that took my blood was very nice. She did such a good job, I didn’t even feel it. Great experience!

Dr Sommers is a great doctor that cares about his patients. There should be more doctors like him. I recommend him to all my friends. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Husband and daughter like Doctor Sommers very much. They are both comfortable talking to him. He cares about his patients and their quality of life.

We were looking for a new doctor for my husband and Dr. Sommers was recommended to me by a nurse. When we arrived staff was very nice and professional. We were blown away by Dr. Sommers, he had already reviewed the file and knew mostly all of his medical history before we arrived. Very impressed with doctor Sommers, he is very caring and patient. He seems very knowledgeable and listens, which wo me is a very important virtue of a good Dr. I went to accompany my husband, but I liked it so much that I made an appointment for my yearly physical.

Dr jack Sommers does listen , discuss my BP , etc . So nice of him walk me to blood work / x rays etc . He good patience w/ me when I wasn't feeling well or tired of my health issues like pain in body . He seem show his care / listen . What I like most is he listen / discuss much better . I just moved to Oklahoma and selected Dr. Sommers as my PCP. Our first visit was very thorough, he took all the time needed to go through my extensive medical history and discussed his recommendations for future treatment. Very open minded and gave me his perspectives and also listened to my concerns. He also documented my visit through MyChart the same day. Glad I chose Dr. Sommers

Dr. Sommers is a very good doctor and is very knowledge about making a health plan for you. At the end of the session he always asks if I have any questions for him and lets me know I can contact him anytime.

Utica Park clinic south .. great place. When we moved to BA from out of state my husband needed a doctor. Well he found Dr Sommers and he has been great with my husband and all of us. Takes the time to listen and instead of adding more pills to the regimen, he changed some and took some out. My whole family goes to this office. They are all helpful and nice there.

I have major health problems. I have a pacemaker/defibrillator & heart pump. Dr Sommers keeps up with my lab work every week. Even though it’s ordered by my heart dr. He has my diabetes under control. His bedside manner is very comforting.
