Cardiology of San Antonio, PA

Very personable and concerned. Always answered my questions thoroughly. This is the first cardiologist I've ever had that has seen me at every appointment, with others I've seen the nurse most times. Staff is kind and courteous, Janae Esparza helped me tremendously with my sleep apnea testing and acquiring my CPAP machine.

Excellent service and was seen quickly. Dr. Reyes was very helpful and very informative when I went in to check for a heart palpitation. Definitely recommend for anyone nervous about doctors and with any heart concerns

Unprofessional RECEPTIONIST: It's amazing how reception lies. I called and was put on hold for 10 minutes just to find out if my mom was finished with her appointment. I was still on hold so I hung up and called back several times!
Finally got an answer only to be put on hold AGAIN! right away! I had to drive over to see what was going on, the receptionists told me the phones were not ringing. So I used my phone to call and sure enough miraculously the phones were ringing! How very unprofessional, and there were two of them in the office just sitting there.

No one ever answers the phone. Forget about getting a call-back. I tried for days. Finally just had my pharmacy try to contact them. Kelly (the nurse) denied my prescription refill. I could not afford the $175 first visit, $250 Test A, and $350 Test B (I have no insurance) but Kelly had agreed to fill it for 30 days while I apply with Medicaid or other provider. When I got a hold of her and asked her why she denied my prescription, she said I had to go in for a visit. I said I DID, and now I am down to 3 pills because no one would return my calls and you said you would give me 30 days to get some aid. Her response (and I QUOTE): "If you can't afford a doctor's visit, how can you afford the medication?" I said, "my husband filled my hospital prescription at Walmart for $31 generic" ... Silence... more silence ... so I said, "just forget it, I'll call a doctor at the hospital." SHAMEFUL.

My wife and I have been calling non stop for over a week and no one ever answers. We transferred doctors due to this issue and the new Dr's office is unable to get results from tests. Terrible customer service and now we have to physically go into the office so we can get this due to the office never answering the phone! DO NOT GO HERE!

Still waiting for results this is the worst place in san Antonio
