Hemingway's

Great neighborhood bar with good eats. Pool tables and other games for those interested. Outside patio for smokers available. Clean bar and bathrooms with laid back friendly service. Surprisingly good food. Bit of a hidden gem. Definitely a favorite spot for locals. Often has full bands playing live. Good times. Nice folks.

Their Chili is absolutely amazing. I'm always meeting new friends there because everyone is having a good time. Can't say enough good things about Hemingways. You've got to try it for yourself

This is one of my favorite local bars! The bartenders Darren and Laci and our server Lora were absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and I keep keep coming back because they take care of us and make me feel like I’m at home!

A great neighborhood spot! The food and service are ALWAYS excellent! Can get busy, but it's well worth the wait!

I really enjoyed the hospitality and great service here. The food is amazing and will definitely hit the spot. Come on Mondays because it's wing night half off.

Went here for the first time and everyone was super friendly. I've only lived in the area for 4 months so it was nice to find a local bar. The setting makes it pretty easy to over do it, so you may want to get a ride there. All in all, I had a great time... oh, the wings I got were good, too! Apparently all the food is good... Definitely recommend popping in here.

Our favorite local music pub and grill. The prices on both drinks and food are very reasonable, and the food is fantastic for what it is. Must try the huge hand cut and breaded fried mozzarella sticks. They're the best you will find anywhere in the greater Columbia area.

We are new to the area. We stopped here because it's my birthday and the restaurant that I wanted to go to had over an hour wait. It was awesome! The cuban was great, service was great, and the thing called a rum bucket was great! I'm so glad my night didn't go as planned and we ended up aimlessly driving around. We will definitely be back.

Great place to hang out and shoot some pool! Everyone is so nice and we always have such an awesome time. Pool tables and cue sticks are kept up with for the most part. Go check it out!

This is my favorite local spot. The place is always clean and the food is always great. The bar staff is on it and very attentive. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner a few weeks ago and I was impressed with how friendly and welcoming he was to me and the rest of the patrons.

I have not had the opportunity to dine-in yet, having just moved here during the pandemic, but I’ve ordered takeout a few times and everything is amazing. They give you great portion sizes, great food, all for a great price. So far one of my favorite pub/bar style restaurants in the Columbia/Irmo area and that’s by a long shot. I would highly recommend anything on the menu

This place is a neighborhood gem! We just had our 3rd Sunday in a row lunch at Hemingway's and the food is delicious! Large menu but I can't get away from the Cubano with side of vegetables. 3 times I ate every bite of the veggies before touching the Cubano! For Sunday afternoon this is a family friendly bar and grill. Large bar, pool tables and pinball and karaoke and live bands on Friday nights.
The service is fast and friendly. We live in Lexington but so glad we decided to try Hemingway's 3 weeks ago. Outdoor seating available with a gorgeous tree planted on the patio that opens up to the sky around the tree. But the food! Go for the food and take home some Tex-Mex Egg rolls that come with a delicious sauce.

Bartender was fantastic. I asked for him to make me something fruity, as I hardly drink, and he made me the best drink I've had in a while. It was laid back, and a nice environment to be in.

Great bartenders and great place to play silver strike bowling, live music regularly in the evenings. 3 pool tables and great clientele base during happy hour. Also kitchen is open til midnight every night!!

Great for late night food. I was in town on business, and forgot to eat dinner. Searched for an open restaurant near my hotel, and decided on Hemingway's. It seemed most people were there to drink and play pool, but I was welcomed to sit down and have dinner. I decided on "The Big Meat" which is probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Also had a small order of wings in the "Smoky Bacon BBQ" sauce, which was excellent. Food came out super fast, and my server never forgot about me even though I was only drinking water. Highly recommended!

Thanks guys the whole staff even the cooks. y'all are awesome people we felt at home. Our band played this past Friday night. We had a blast. Thank you for supporting local live music see y'all soon
