Café Remix

Family run cafe with delicious Korean sandwiches and drinks. Ordered: Seoul Street Sandwich, Ocean Bagel, and a mini souffle pancake. We've ordered to-go from here mostly since it takes a while for both sandwich and souffle to cook up. But eating it in the Cafe if you have time is simply delicious. They recommend calling ahead if you want the sandwich or souffle since it takes time to cook up. But it's always worth the wait regardless. They offer the trendy dalgona coffee here too but I love their matcha latte, since its not to sweet. Everything tastes consistently delicious every time we've gone.

The Seoul Sandwich is a mix of sweet and savory, think breakfast egg sandwich meets a generous helping of crunchy veggies and sweet ketchup. Give it a try at least once before you judge. The bagel options are all more typical of American brunch, but with perfect ratios of spread and fillings.

One of my favorite places in Federal Way and seeing it busy lately makes me super happy since I'm hoping they stay around for a long time to come.

I didn’t know this place had been opened for 3 years. Great cafe with cozy ambiance and a variety of selections. I had soufflé and it was made from scratch which took about 15 minutes. It was so moist and soft! For coffees, they didn’t have regular milk (to my surprise), so we chose almond milk and oat milk; not as good, but I am sure today was just an exception. All the items were reasonably priced. It was quite during the day and I could have a nice chat time with my friend. I will def visit again soon for more desserts.

So, I just moved from NYC after 6 years about 7 months ago and felt like we were moving to a bit of a quality food desert. The dalgona drinks, the soup street sandwich, and the strawberry souffle fluffy pancakes (which were perfectly and fully cooked, no raw center) have me the first feeling of it's gonna be okay. Seriously delicious, quality food and cute shop with friendly employees.

I have been searching for a cafe like this in a very long time in WA state, I've discovered this cafe recently in federal way. The place is gorgeous from outside to inside, I came here before but with the NEW management and NEW renovations, this is a whole new level of design and cafe in Korean town.

The soufflés are really pretty, my favorite is the original.

The Seoul Street sandwich is so good, it is a MUST GET item. The sandwich is unique, perfect size and the flavor was very good.

Their drinks are good.

I'm definitely coming back here again, it would be my go to cafe in federal way

Just stumbled into this place. It was so yummy. The breakfast bagles and fluffy pancakes are so good. Clean environment and friendly staff. We'll totally be back again.

Food def takes a bit, the souffle particularly, but it was worth the wait. It was super delicious tasted like pancake marshmallows. 🖤 Plus it's made fresh can't stay mad just don't order it if you're in a rush or hangry lol

Pretty good cafe, best puff pancakes. it takes a bit because they take the time prepare the food, not like others that already have it and just warm it up. 100% recommended.

I’ve been in 3 times and the baristas are kind and social. Coffee is great. But the atmosphere is what sets it apart. Chill music, cozy furniture and setting. Easy place to study or read in, not too much stimuli hitting you over the head, but enough to be a nice joint to relax in.

I had some time to kill before watching a movie so I decided to check this place out and study for a bit. The food and drinks were amazing! The barista Ruby was very kind and welcoming! Highly recommend this spot. Great place to study with friends at as well!

Loved this cafe to study in and their salmon bagel. Very sad they have closed this place down 🥲 they are opening a happy lemon now in this location.

Stopped by our old “after a morning flight into Seatac breakfast place” which was closed due to Covid. I found Cafe Remix online and immediately knew I had to try the fluffy soufflé pancake, well it is as amazing without the syrup as it looks and “V” knows what she is doing!! My husband got Soeul Street Sandwich. We shared both items as we were so hungry! This place does not disappoint at all! You guys gotta check this amazing cafe out if you want to eat right!! First time here. Working in the Fed Way/Auburn area for the day and it’s hot outside. So looking for a nice spot to sit, eat and work, haven’t been the the Commons before. Walking in, the cafe is beautifully welcoming, clean and comfortable. Sweet music, perfect temperature. Staff is very down to earth, personable, overall great service. Matcha Dalgona - my mouth is in heaven. If you like matcha lattes or milk tea, you may love this… more. Delicately creamy blends well with the thin milk over ice, and mmm that hint of toffee just hits the spot. So glad I also went with the Seoul Street sandwich. Feels like a nice homey Korean variation from normal boring cafe sandwiches. Only issue is that I’m licking the delicious sauce from my fingers while trying to work on my computer. Adding this place to my favorites and looking forward to coming back with the fam for the soufflés!

Cafe Remix is 50% of the reason we have been coming to the Commons for the past 6 months. YOU MUST HAVE THE FLUFFY PANCAKES! But, understand that this is a boutique style coffee house. The food and the drinks are hand crafted with intense scrutiny so it can take a little bit to get your food. But it's worth waiting for.

I can’t remember what we got. A raspberry Italian soda and a coffee. The lady was super nice. Let me in before she was fully opened. And even let me sample some of their delicious desserts. Super cute shop.

Had the Seoul Street Sandwich and it smelled and tasted really good! One thing I loved is that the food was made-to-order, which unfortunately means you might have to wait a little longer for your food, but it’s totally worth it.

Very friendly atmosphere, lots of seating with an open floor plan. Good access for disabled people. Quick to order and receive drinks and food. There is a board for people to post info if you ask.

Super wonderful atmosphere 💕 We got the butterfly 🦋 Italian 🇮🇹 soda which wasn't overwhelming and much appreciated & the oat milk cappuccino = accommodating and delish!🥳

Their Japanese pancakes are AWESOME! It's the only place I've found that makes them and they're delicious

Only downside to this place is that the hours of operation is to short. This place is great! And food tastes amazing
