What Dreams May Come 😴
A Beautiful Day for a stroll in Leon Valley
Cathedral Rock Park is one of those places where children are able to enjoy their amazing blessings. Families, couples, auld bird watchers like me. Bicycles 🚲 and puppies too. Breeze and sunshine 🌞 the best of SAT in the beautiful shade of the copious bushes, and trees. 🐦 🐦‍⬛ 🦃 🦉 🐥
Well, no turkeys so far however it's been great 👍 👍 and the Cardinals are easy to spot in the brush. Friendly folks, warm weather and made for all, as well as ♿ handicapped accessible and easy to navigate. My RBK Prostetic 'Fred' is very pleased 😀 and I go along with him. Enjoy.

Tight parking. But place is great to come with kids and have picnic. Good for having birthdays parties for young kids. Nice playground. Paved walking path out and back, for more adventurous it is hiking trail by the dry bed of the river.

I love this park. It has so many trails and bridges and a bridge you can go under, and it has some light "off road" paths. It's right in the midst of busy roads and subdivisions, but it feels like you're far away. There are benches along the way if you need to rest and a cute playground for kids.

This park is one of the best in Leon Valley ("San Antonio") To go and just hike or ride and it's a great place to take the kids to see cool rocks, fossils, and wildlife.

Very cool park to visit especially with a bike. The only issue is that it might flood in some areas and can be impossible to cross due to the mud.

This park is fantastic! I love the long winding trails that allow for either a peaceful stroll or a lengthy hike. The nature-esque landscapes are amazing and offer the calmness of serenity amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Some parts are well shaded while other parts have a lot of direct sun exposure (so plan accordingly). This can be a busy park, so best to get a parking spot at the front and then decide which direction you want to go. I'm not sure if there are maps available for the trails, but it seems easy enough to navigate. Jogging, biking, hiking, dog walking, and maybe even a nice picnic is all possible at this location. Highly recommended for anyone looking to increase their physical activity!

Very nice trail with kids park. The trail goes all the way to Grissom and Ingram and I believe North West right by Ingram Mall if I'm not mistaken about the street name.
This time of the year the weather I'd very beautiful and you can easily walk or bike or jog on this trail. I've seen it all.
The scenery is very beautiful too. My biggest challenge is people having their pets poop all over the place and not pick up afterwards, even on the pavement. Other than that, it's a beautiful trail.

This park is a great place to take the kids for a little nature walk as well as let them climb around the tree house type of playset they have. They have a cute little mushroom table and chairs as well as a smaller playset for the smaller kids. I enjoyed walking the loop around the park and they even had some picnic tabes back behind the playset just before the trail. Take the family and have a great time!

Stopped by for the first time today after A LOT of rain. Paved trail was still very walkable and it was gorgeous with all the water rushing through. Definitely going back when it's dry to check out the dirt trails.

This has to be my favorite place to go walking!! I love the trails and trees and just the great atmosphere throughout my walk. I always find myself back for nice good walk and at times bring the kiddos to play on the playground. Definitely this park is the place for families or just a little alone time.

The scenery was beautiful, and I really enjoyed all the different paths you could take. There were deer and wildlife. Also, the park they have when you first pull up is adorable. I cannot wait to go again when it's cooler outside.
The only thing I disliked was the trash that people left behind, it wasn't too bad. But, it definitely caught your eye.

Very nice little park. The trails open super early as well. I did not see al the trails but what I did see they have up to level three trails. The trail system is quite extensive and they have both paved and unpaved trails. The port-a-potty is less than desirable. Overall it is a very nice park.

First time here. Really liked the paved trails throughout. There are some really old oak trees that are beautiful. There is an area for kids to play on. There is a portable toilet too, which had toilet paper!! Will be back, what to get a farther down the trails.

I wish they had swings here but either way it's a great park for little kids.

Nice little park, main trail is one mile in and one mile out. Super pretty in the winter when it’s not 1000 degrees outside.

This is a great park for all ages! Nice shaded seating and good walking trails too :) The playground equipment is unique and shaped like a tree which is really cool. There are little animals hiding around it for the children to find as the explore the tree. They also have a little play area too. The only thing this is is missing is some swings!! I do like that it is cushiony ground vs the wood chips though.
