The Barn at Wolf Ridge Farm

Got married here in February of 2023. A little rainy and cold, but all employees did a fantastic job accommodating and making sure all guests and wedding party were taken care of. I cannot say enough good things about this venue.

I GENUINELY do not have enough good things to say about this venue and Shirley, the owner. She went so above and beyond for us and I actually literally love her! The venue is beautiful. The preferred vendors are all amazing (and in my opinion, the add ons are a must. It makes EVERYTHING so easy. We had penny as our coordinator and she made my day such a breeze.) I had the wedding of my dreams and feel like Shirley and her team is a main part in making that happen. I feel lucky to have had my day at The Barn At Wolf Ridge Farm, and i feel lucky for the people it has connected me to. If you’re thinking about using this venue, the answer is absolutely yes!!!!

I cannot thank you enough for making Faith & Hunter’s day any more perfect!!! So many guests told us that they’ve been to a lot of weddings, and this was by far the most beautiful venue they’ve ever seen.

Laura was just an incredible coordinator all day long. At the end of the night, all we had to do was find shoes, makeup bags, etc. Everything else was packed up into cars, and ready to go! Penny was so very sweet while serving our guests. And Georgia took care of my mom & dad with large glasses of tea and water and kept checking on them as if they were her own parents.

Shirley, you are a true wedding professional and expert. Your compassion for Faith & Hunter was felt from the moment we chose The Barn at Wolfridge Farm. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, We could not have pulled off the perfect wedding without you and your staff.

This venue is perfect! And the owner, Shirley, is amazing. She was always available for questions or concerns. The day of the wedding, she was behind the scenes taking care of all the small details so I didn't have to worry about it. The barn is absolutely beautiful. I heard people raving over it all night. It was the perfect size for my wedding, not too small that it felt cramped and not too big that it felt empty. We used the upstairs loft for a photo booth, which was really fun! We also used Shirley's suggested catering, bartender, security, and DJ. It made things much simpler for me, and they were all great. I have a feeling this venue is about to become very popular. So if you are looking for a venue, check this one out soon before all the dates fill up!

My husband and I had our wedding at The Barn in July 2022, and it was magical! Shirley was an absolute delight to work with from the get-go. She knows what she is doing and had tons of fun ideas for us. We chose to have her decorate the venue for the wedding, as we didn’t want to worry about it ourselves, and this aspect of wedding planning went very smoothly. The décor turned out beautifully and it was stress-free for me!
We also chose to hire a day-of coordinator through The Barn, and we are so glad we did! This helped us out from the moment we arrived at the venue and helped things run even more smoothly and stress-free.
The Barn is such a beautiful venue itself and created an intimate space for us to enjoy our big day with loved ones. We had plenty of guests come from different places in the US (many of which have never been to small-town Texas), and they really enjoyed the pasture of cows beside the venue and the country atmosphere. All around, our wedding day at The Barn at Wolf Ride Farm was incredible. 10/10!!!

I can't say enough about the barn at wolf ridge farm and Shirley. I had my wedding there on 10/23/2021 and it was just perfect. Shirley worked with me on my idea and helped it come a reality. She also was amazing with how extra my family can be when it comes to how things need to look. At the end of the night my wedding was amazing and would not change anything.

The Barn at Wolf Ridge farms made our wedding dreams come true! The beautiful decorations and layout by Shirley, Dieter’s catering (brisket, pulled pork, mashed potatoes, green beans), our coordinator Penny’e - so organized and helpful. EVERYTHING was PERFECT. Highly recommend using this venue if you get married! Thank you ladies SO MUCH!

This was an amazing venue!! Shirley is such a good hostess and helped us out so much throughout our entire wedding planning process. She decorated for us and was on top of everything we needed so we could have the best wedding day ever, which we did because of her!

I had a fairytale wedding with the best wedding planning experience a girl could ask for. Shirley, the owner, was incredibly helpful every step of the way. She cares about every single detail from the timeline down to the decor. I must have sent her a million texts and asked thousands of questions -she answered every single one. My daughter’s Wedding was this weekend. The Venue is very nice. The owner is very organized and met with us several times before wedding. She is very open to your ideas. Day of Wedding went really smoothly and her Wedding coordinator was awesome. Thank you for making my daughter and son-in-law’s wedding special.

We had the most beautiful wedding here. They accommodate all the things you need and make sure your event is picture perfect. Sherily and her group are the best of the best. Be sure to have Ms. Penny as your wedding coordinator, she’s an absolute pro. We loved every minute of our wedding day.

My husband and I found The barn very early into our venue search and knew it was the one. Shirley is absolutely wonderful to work with and provided the support, communication, and professionalism I needed to ensure our day would be magical. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue or venue owner. The views are breathtakingly beautiful and make for amazing wedding pictures. We are happy to be married but sad to cut ties with Shirley. Five stars doesn’t quite seem sufficient— Shirley, Penny, and team went above and beyond for my New Year’s Eve wedding. The venue is obviously so beautiful, the decor was perfect, the planning process was very thorough and Shirley is definitely a professional with exceptional vision and taste! She went to bat for me with a vendor and ended up getting a better deal than I was able to get on my own. Plenty of parking, plenty of dance floor while accommodating seating for about 160 or so people. Everyone has raved over how beautiful the entire day was.

I asked my husband if he had anything to mention in the review: “overall good experience, worth it” clearly a man of many words… Penny made sure he didn’t have an empty beer all night which was his only request lol I can’t recommend or sing their praises enough, I’d give 10 stars if I could!

Simple and to the point, this venue is spectacular. The location is great and the atmosphere is welcoming! The Barn has its own modern rustic chic vibe to it and it is so cute with so much character! Our wedding reception was a dream! The owner (Shirley) was so helpful throughout the process of wedding planning and our Coordinator made the big day a breeze. I am so thankful we got to experience the biggest day of our lives at such a beautiful venue!
