The Guest House is an exceptional dining establishment, especially welcoming for large families with children. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated at a spacious table that comfortably accommodated our sizable group. The ambiance was cozy yet lively, perfect for both adults and kids.

Our server, Anthony, was outstanding. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive and friendly, making sure that everyone, especially the children, felt at ease. He provided coloring paper and crayons for the kids, a thoughtful touch that kept them entertained throughout our meal.

The menu offered a delightful array of options, but the highlight was undoubtedly their pizza. Each pizza boasted a perfect blend of crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, and a generous array of toppings that catered to both traditional and adventurous palates.

Throughout our meal, Anthony's service was impeccable. He ensured our drinks were refilled promptly and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, all while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.

The Guest House is a hidden gem in the Kenmore neighborhood! I have been there numerous times and the food and the service have always been superb. Tonight I had the halibut, and it was phenomenal. So light and refreshing . The amazing citrus pea sauce just screamed spring!

I chose to go here with my hiking partner after walking around St Edwards Park for a couple hours. The service was absolutely pleasant and the food was top notch! We already planned a trip back in about a month.

Update: after a second visit to this wonderful restaurant the hostess remembered our faces and asked for our names (trying to commit them to memory I suppose), the notion made a great deal of difference in me feeling welcome as a guest. The menu has rotated but was fantastic as always.

Amazing food. When I went in didnt expect to have such good food in the middle of nowhere (from the tourist’s view!! Not many options i had while staying at the lodge) Had mussels, chicken liver mouse, and cookie&icecream for the new year’s eve. Loved everything. Service was excellent.

What a nice, relaxing restaurant. The constant evolving small menu makes it interesting and the food & drinks are tasty😋. Friendly and attentive staff. The owner(s) take time to chat with the guests. Loved the whole experience 😀. We had the pizza & Lamb meatloaf sandwich. Pizza crust was thin and slightly chewy (in a good way) & the bread to the sandwich was made of I believe the pizza dough? Very yummy. Owner mentioned they make their own dough/bread. Dessert was superb. And for someone who doesn’t usually drink alcohol, I finished the whole glass of their “Basil Haven” 😋

This place is SO great, we're so excited that we now live so close. We had a group of 10 the first time we came here and everyone raved about their food, so I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.

I loved everything about this place. The environment is absolutely adorable and so comforting. The food was outstanding. Every single thing that we ordered was perfect. The bread with hummus was incredible, the pepperoni pizza was amazing, my salmon was fabulous, and our friends that ordered the burger and one of the sandwiches both love their meals as well.

First visit here. Great Place! Amazing Dinner! If it were proper to lick your plate in public. Lol

Really good wood-fired pizza and lots of interesting cocktails. It looks like they make a lot (all?) of their own bread, so that's cool.

Beautiful little restaurant that serves the most delicious brunch I’ve had in Seattle. We ordered and highly recommend the shakshuka, the avocado toast and the ricotta donuts!

One of our favorite places for brunch! Great service and delicious food. The donuts are the best! And we love their breakfast sandwich and eggs Benedict. Highly recommend!

This family owned restaurant opened in 2017. The menu is constantly changing as they utilize mostly locally provided ingredients and it shows! I started off with an old fashioned. The fresh orange aroma tickles the nose upon first sip. Every sip was delicious up to the last taste of the cherry garnish. Trying to decide on which cocktail was difficult as all of the cocktails look delicious. For my main course, I had grilled pork tenderloin. The chef suggests serving at medium rare, but I like my pork well done. Of course, well done provides a drier end product, but that is not noticable with the spiced apple compote. This plate was served with mashed sweet potatoes and sauteed green beans. The dish made this Virginia native longing for home. If you are used to and enjoy industrial size portions, you will be disappointed. As the portion sizes are more appropriate for single serving. Personally, I found this to be refreshing. Having no room for more, but still curious, I ordered the PBJ pizza (light jalapenos) since this restaurant is known for their wood fire pizza oven but took it home for later. The PBJ pizza has the house red sauce, mozzarella, pineapple, bacon and jalapenos. The Bacon stood out to my palate. Since I ate this reheated, I don't feel that my experience will give it justice as fresh from the oven. Ordering a scoop of pistachio, cherry, and chocolate chip ice cream to go  could not have been avoided. This freshly made ice cream did not disappoint. The service team provides excellent customer service from the entry until exit. I saw one server provide drink service for a six top table while waiting for their server to arrive at work, even though this table was not in his section. The chef works in an exposed kitchen, liken to a diner. Do not let that fool you, as the food quality is much better than diner style. This place will be a must try for those who visit me in the PNW in the future.

Im not sure what we expected but it wasn’t this!! Absolutely wonderful interesting food , quality cocktails, friendly attentive staff ! The place is very casual and comfortable but the food level surpasses the looks of the place! We will be back! A Gem! I’m a pescatarian and the halibut was perfectly cooked with a flavorful yet light sauce - delicious! My husband had the chicken sandwich he loved it. Cocktails were spot on! Plenty of parking! Call for reservations! Others know how good it is!

What a great find! Found this little gem in Kenmore. Giving it 5 stars! Service was excellent, prices were really good, atmosphere was modern and quaint. Small menu but good choices. Only reason I didn't give the food 5 stars is because the pizza was too salty. Definitely will come back.

Five star establishment in a 3 star location. The food was really well done and presented beautifully. The service was excellent. This is a wonderful place for date night or any adult outing. The lighting and energy of the place is clean, sleek and rustic at the same time. We tried the risotto, cavatappi, burger, steak frites, hearth bread, margarita, limeade mocktail, and 2 other cocktails. For dessert we had the mousse and the cookie. Everything was very tasty. The parking situation here is pretty horrible. We ended up parking across the street at a closed business. Overall we will be back.

I'll risk pomposity to say the food was utter perfection, spectacular ... and superb. ... and comforting, all in one; both dishes were but I got so involved with mine I forgot to check the competition. Did register some groans of approval though for the fried chicken sandwich. Mine was polenta with pulled pork and sunny-side up eggs, pickled red onions for acidity and contrast. It appears to be a recent addition to the menu and quite a serendipitous one for me since it's very similar to something I would eat as a child. Their shakshuka also looked intriguing and it's on my "try next" list. Truly a chef's kiss experience.

The Guest House is a beautiful space, with exceptional hospitality, and wholesome food.

We arrived for brunch and were third in line for a table, but the staff offered us coffee and tea while we waited. After we were seated, service was quick and friendly, and our food came out in no time!

I had the breakfast sandwich with sausage, and as someone who makes quite a few breakfast sandwiches myself, I understand what I fine you walk making a sandwich as perfect as this one. The sandwich was *fully stacked*, but without being too bready, or stacked so high it falls apart, or being too big to eat properly. The texture was perfect -- soft, moist, fresh -- but never soggy, greasy, or dry. It also tasted great! Lots of flavor without being too salty or overly eggy. I could say a lot about this sandwich, but I've probably already crossed into weirdly-specific-review territory. So the last thing I'll add is that the Ricotta Donuts were also great, came out fresh and hot, weren't too sweet, and had an amazing cherry compote to boot.

Thanks, Guest House!

Hopping local joint great for breakfast (mostly gluten containing items) lunch, and dinner (also brunch and linner). I've come here many times with my family to enjoy their unique local fare. Steaks have been delicious, as have the short ribs, polenta (seemingly a specialty of theirs!) Not to mention some deliciously wood fired gluten free (and regular) pizzas, including mushroom combos and sausage/pepperoni.

Also this place really knows what they're up to with salmon- some of the crispiest skin I've had in a while, paired with some beluga lentils.
