This local drugstore in Kenmore is a surprisingly great place to find gifts for people, in addition to having a top notch pharmacy! Besides the usual drugstore items, Ostroms also has things like quirky cards, seasonal home decor, toys, puzzles, gourmet candy, and a huge selection of Jelly Cat stuffed animals. If you enjoy retail therapy, picking up medications or getting your flu shot just got more fun!

Truly the best pharmacy I've ever been to. The staff actually answers the phone, and they fill prescriptions in a timely manner. Their app works pretty well, and you can even text them questions.

To my eternal crushing humiliation, I am a needy patient to the max. These hard working folks have infinite patience and kindness ready at all times. Next the to hospital at NWH, Ostrom’s is hands down, the best pharmacy in the PNW. Thank you for all you do if you read this!!!!

It's one of the best drug stores around, you can pick up your medication and go shopping for unique gifts and always find something for somebody there. The service is always good there.

Awesome gifts! Pricey, but buyer for store finds cutest items! Found inexpensive earrings I love. Pharmacy easy to use and convenient for shots.

This is why I drive out of my way to use Ostrom's pharmacy:

1. They treat you like a human being.
2. They have a drive through.
3. If you don't like the medication brand they will order a different one.
4. Hours of operation.
5. They bend over backwards to provide you with good customer service.
6. They are quick! The longest you'll wait is 20min.
7. Sugar free candy selection: butter cups, jelly beans, gummy bears.

They compounded medicine for my cat, had my favorite cough drops, and knew exactly where the extra long shoe horns were. Plus they had some great things for gifts, for friends or maybe me.

They are best pharmacy I have ever used. Always quick to answer, always helpful. The stress with fixing issues with doctor/insurance they have tackled more than once. I love the drive-thru option too, and their hours. They also have an interesting selection of gifts.

I drive further just because I was so desperate to find a good quality pharmacy. Finally found one! Ostroms is AMAZING. Quick, efficient, kind, no long phone times, great customer service and more!!! So glad I finally found something of quality. (Do not recommend Walgreens in Bothell as a heads up, very poorly run) Night and day switching pharmacies! They are 5/5 stars! Thank you, Ostroms! This is what a pharmacy is meant to be! I went because I was picking up a prescription for my sister. Pharmacy staff was kind, and quick! I browsed the delightful store full of amazing gifts and supplies for 20 min and her prescriptions were ready. They have all sorts of braces, ice packs, assistive devices. Gift items, toys, a fantastic stuffed animal collection, yard art. I live 30-60 minutes away and am even considering making the drive to use this pharmacy because it was such a superior experience from what has been going on with all the chain pharmacies near my home- short staffed, short tempered staff and customers, delayed pick ups, out of stock. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go to this delightful store.

Consistent attention to details, calls made to us to make certain no changes to monthly refills, and THEN they call to tell me they're ready for pickup. I'm transferring my 88 year old mother's prescriptions to them NOW.

A true 10/10. Just got another vaccine injection from them, they were busy for sure but VERY organized. In and out in less than 30 minutes, very friendly staff and a skilled pharmacist with the needle.

Love that Ostroms is a local business, and it shows- night and day difference from the chain pharmacies! They always have my scripts ready quickly, with friendly service. They have been able to specify one generic NOT to give me (I had a bad reaction to the insert fillers), and their attached gift shop is always full of cool things to discover if you are waiting for your prescriptions to be filled. And the best part is they allow dogs!! Will never go anywhere else!

I've gone here for over 20 years, and through two moves, for my perscriptions, as well as to shop for unique items, but their pharmacy prices just became too high when comparison shopping, according to my private insurance. And you couldn't find nearly as many coupons online to use at this pharmacy with your insurance, like you could with other more well-known chains that were actually listed, unfortunately. If that weren't the case, I would have stayed, but now I'm actually saving a LOT of money.
At times they could either be extremely fast with filling your perscription, and at other times DREADFULLY SLOW, depending on who was working, usually. Regardless, it's sad for me to leave because I loved supporting a smaller, local business, even when it wasn't so local for me anymore. I kept traveling back to Kenmore, just to keep using this trusted pharmacy. I've seen a lot of employees come and go over the years, but the ones who have been there the longest, are true gems. I'll miss you, Ostroms, you were good to me.

Im so happy that my doctor recommended this pharmacy and switched all of my prescriptions over here today.
I was actually in shock when I called them 15 minutes after my doctor’s appointment and they told me they were already working on filling my prescriptions… I have been to pretty much every chain pharmacy in king and part of snohomish county, and in NY where I’m from originally, and every single month I have had at least one giant issue getting my prescriptions filled.
I usually leave pharmacies incredibly frustrated and in tears, and told that I may get my prescription in 2 weeks because they “need to order it”, despite the fact that I have the same exact prescriptions filled monthly….also, numerous pharmacies in the area have closed their drive thrus and have stopped answering the phone!
When I called Ostroms, they answered the phone immediately, and they were very friendly. My prescriptions were $20 less than they normally cost, and I would have been in and out in less that 5 minutes, but the store is really cool- they have EVERYTHING- and I had to buy a friend a couple birthday gifts.
They had so many fun and unique gifts and cards to choose from.
I’ve already emailed my doctor to thank her for switching me to this pharmacy, I pray they don’t get purchased by a chain- this is seriously the only positive experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy in my entire life.

For as long as it is possible, I will be using their pharmacy. They've clearly hired great people, and they hold them them to high standards. They even seem to have the most cutting-edge equipment I've seen in the Northshore region. The only knock on them is that their gift shop and basic medical supplies can be pricey, but the quality is always high and they frequently send out coupons. Considering that their drug prices are so similar to the big chains, it's hard to understand why someone would choose to go elsewhere.

Also, for those that need to get shots, their nurses are WAY better at dealing with those that struggle with needles and hit the mark every time. They helped my needle-shy partner get her shot without crying (BOTH TIMES); and without having to ask both of the nurses for my shots intentionally avoided my arm tattoo (this is a very common issue). The process after walking into the office to get the shot took a whole 3 minutes per person.

As someone that has been sent to urgent care or hospitalized over 40 times, let me tell you, this is the quality of care you should be looking for.
